The company has not merely talked the talk when it comes to Logan Paul...
... it has also now walked the walk.
And, as a result, this douchebag of a social media presence will soon be a lot lighter in the wallet.
In the wake of Paul's asinine video stunt late last month, YouTube has announced two punishments for the wildly popular vlogger:
1. He's been dropped from the YouTube Red Comedy "Foursome."
2. Google Preferred, which is the home to the top 5% of most-viewed YouTube content, says it will no longer aggregate Paul's multimillion-subscriber channels for advertisers.
In other words: Paul has been cut off from his top income source as it pertains to this platform.
Said a spokesperson for YouTube on Wednesday evening:
“In light of recent events, we have decided to remove Logan Paul’s channels from Google Preferred.
"Additionally, we will not feature Logan in Season 4 of Foursome and his new originals are on hold.”
YouTube received a lot of flak for its delayed response to Paul's video scandal, waiting 11 days to address what happened.
As a result, about six million views were recorded of the controversial footage - which featured Logan zooming in on a dead body in Japan, while also cracking wise about the corpse - before it was taken down.
Two days after this stunt went viral, Logan issued a lame apology.
It made a reference to his popularity online and said:
This is a first for me. I've never faced criticism like this before, because I've never made a mistake like this before. I'm surrounded by good people and believe I make good decisions, but I'm still a human being. I can be wrong.
I didn't do it for views. I get views. I did it because I thought I could make a positive ripple on the Internet, not cause a monsoon of negativity. That's never the intention.
I was misguided by shock and awe, as portrayed in the video. I still am.
Paul then made another attempt at a mea culpa, posting a video (which he monetized) on January 2 and saying into the camera:
Suicide is not a joke. Depression and mental illness are not a joke. We came here with an intent to focus on the haunted aspect of the forest.
This obviously just became very real, and obviously a lot of people are going through a lot of s— in their lives...
"From the bottom of my heart, I am sorry."
From there, Paul said he was going to reflect on life and take a break from video posting.
He's actually lived up to that vow, but Paul's father left the following message on Instagram today:
LOGAN WILL BE BACK! SUPER FANS!! BUS UPDATES! MISTAKES!! We all screw up. It’s a part of life. Do I agree with everything my boys do. NO!
Do I agree with some of the things my friends do? NO! Do they disagree with some things I do? YES!
Face it folks....... we all f-ck up at one time or another. That’s life!! What we do with those mistakes, bad judgement or whatever term you give it , is what matters.
I love my boys and I am sooo proud of them.

It all went down when Tom Ackerley and the I, Tonya star vacationed in Tahiti a few months after tying the knot in December 2016. Following a few days on a secluded part of the island, the new-ish-lyweds capped off their trip at a luxury hotel.
When the two decided to hit the gym for a class, Ackerly thought it was a fine to wear an old pair of VERY revealing short shorts. "Who are we going to run into," the actress recalled her husband saying at the time.
Well, guess who they ran into! Watch Robbie tell the hilarious story (above).

These days, Anthony Weiner is serving a prison sentence for sexting a teenage girl at the nadir of what's surely one of the most rapid and infuriating political downfalls in recent memory.
There was a time--not all that long ago--when the former congressman seemed to have it all, including the love of his beautiful and equally successful wife, top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
What made Weiner's many disgraces so much more outrageous than most was not only the fact that he targeted a minor, but also that he seemed to receive countless second chances, only to repeatedly betray the trust of his supporters and his impossibly merciful wife.
Eventually, of course, both the public and Abedin could take no more of dishonesty and depravity, and Weiner lost it all.
His political career went up in flames.
He was sentenced to 23 months in prison.
And in what may have been the most painful loss of all, Abedin filed for divorce.
But now it seems that Weiner may once again be on the receiving end of Abedin's compassion.
The New York Post is reporting today that the Weiner and Abedin have officially withdrawn their pending divorce case.
According to the newspaper, Abedin was scheduled to appear in Manhattan Supreme Court this afternoon for a compliance conference.
Instead, her attorney submitted paperwork signed by both her and Weiner, agreeing to remove their case from the courts ... for now.
Lawyers for Abedin says this doesn't mean she's had a change of heart, insisting that she simply needs more time to work out a settlement with Weiner before the case goes before a judge.
“In order to ensure the proceedings have a minimal impact on their child, the parties have decided to attempt to reach a settlement swiftly and privately,” says attorney Charles Miller.
For a professional opinion, the Post consulted with divorce attorney Michael Stutman, who is not involved with the case.
Stutman confirmed that the withdrawal does not necessarily mean that Abedin and Weiner have called off their divorce.
He says that they may have decided to postpone the hearing for tax or other economic reasons, or to allow themselves more time to work out a custody agreement for their 6-year-old son.
Of course, with how much Weiner has gotten away with over the years, we won't be convinced Huma is really leaving him until the papers are signed.

If you're a fan of Teen Mom 2, then you're no doubt aware of Ryan Edwards' recent struggles with addiction.
Edwards hit rock bottom before an audience of millions when he passed out while driving to his own wedding, a shocking scene that was captured by MTV cameras.
Shortly after exchanging vows with Mackenzie Standifer, Edwards checked into rehab, and he's reportedly been sober ever since.
But that doesn't mean the early months of his marriage have been entirely smooth sailing.
On this week's episode of TM2, Standifer opened up to a friend, revealing that in some ways, her life was easier when her husband was in rehab, as she knew that he couldn't get acquire drugs.
When Edwards returned home, Standifer says, the fear that he might disappear on a bender became overpowering.
“When Ryan was in rehab it was easy,” she told her friend.
“I knew he couldn’t get anything. He was safe. When we came home life punched us in the face. If he wanted it he could go get it. It’s scary.”
Mackenzie went on to reveal that Edwards' short temper has also been a constant source of stress in her marriage:
“You can be angry, but you can’t talk to me like that,” she said.
“This is hard for me too. I knew it would be hard, but I didn’t know it would be like this. It’s stress all the time. I’m so exhausted. I’m sad and depressed and angry.”
Clearly in despair from the stress of a "honeymoon period" marred by the ravages of addiction, Mackenzie complained that marriage to Edwards has exacted a profound emotional toll.
“I didn’t know it would be like this. It’s stress all the time. I’m so exhausted. I’m sad and depressed and angry."
Needless to say, the Ryan and Mackenzie are enduring an incredibly trying time.
However, many viewers stated on social media that their fears were somewhat allayed by a touching scene in which Edwards expressed his gratitude to Standifer for essentially saving his life:
“It’s disgusting I let myself go like that,” he told his wife.
“It’s just pathetic. I’m so glad I listened to you and got help. You’ve been very, very understanding. I couldn’t have done this without you. Is there anything I could do to help you through this?”
Clearly, Ryan and Mackenzie have a long way in getting their marriage to a place where they're both at their happiest and healthiest.
But the good news is, it seems that they're both willing to put in the necessary work.
Watch Teen Mom 2 online to relive the many ups and downs of the Edwards' marriage.

It can be hard for the average person to believe, but celebrities go broke all the time. We all know that D-list reality stars who aren’t wealthy in the first place lose their money, but it can be surprising when someone more famous ends up bankrupt. We aren’t going to use any names here out of respect for the formerly rich, but we will talk about some of the factors that commonly put stars in the poor house.
Personal Finance Matters for Rich People
The top finance blogs are full of methods that people with any amount of money can turn the tide on a bad personal finance situation. These methods work a lot better the more money you have, but if you don’t use them it doesn’t matter how much money you have. Sooner or later you will run into financial trouble.
That’s the situation that many stars find themselves in. You see it very often with sports stars, who might have gone into the major leagues straight from high school without ever learning about how to manage money. Things go just fine as long as the income firehose is blasting, but when retirement comes, this comes grinding to a halt and many former stars end up in bad financial situations.
All of this pain and embarrassment could easily be avoided. Here are the most common mistakes to be avoided by famous people with money (and people without that much of it).
- Don’t Develop Substance Problems. For every celebrity rehab scandal, there are ten others who are functioning substance abusers. We’re not advocating for 100% sobriety here, but the cost of regular recreational alcohol and drugs is expensive, on body and bank account. The current opioid epidemic is killing people and ruining lives, but it’s also extremely pricey. Prescription pain killers on the black market are very expensive, and once a habit develops, it can be more than a full time job to keep it up. Don’t make the mistake of starting down this slippery slope.
- Not Saving. This one is incredibly simple. It is so easy to spend all of your money and more, but it takes a reversal of instinct to set aside some of what you have for later. Learn to save 10-30% of your income and you will be in a better situation than most people. If all celebrities did this, you wouldn’t hear about celebrity bankruptcy much at all.
- Debt/Not Investing. Debt and investment are two sides of the same coin. With debt, you are losing money all the time at a specific rate of interest. With investment, you are making money most of the time with interest. Going into debt is the easiest thing in the world, and more celebrities than you probably realize have more debt than they have wealth, making their net worth a negative number. This is true for many people who are not famous as well. If you have debt, you should do everything you can to pay it off as fast as possible, because debt grows the longer it sits around. Once you have eliminated it, start saving at the same rate and invest that money. The longer investments sit around, the more they tend to grow.
Celebrities run into financial troubles all the time because they either do not know or do not practice simple financial and lifestyle practices. There are a million ways to go broke, but only a few tried and true methods to build and keep wealth. Practice these and you could find that you do better in the long term than many of the people on TV.
