The KarJenner sisters are celebrating Labor Day with a family barbeque!
Newly single Kourtney, 39, showed off the guacamole dish that she made while helping out in the kitchen, wearing a white swimsuit top and color coordinated pants. Close by was Kendall, 22, sporting a red bikini, and Kim, 37, wore a cream-hued ensemble.
The group spent their day watermelon tasting, playing beer pong, sunbathing and even having a model-on-model food fight!
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians siblings were joined by famous friends Luka Sabbat, hairstylist Jen Atkin and Bella Hadid, whose brother Anwar was spotted hanging out with Kendall at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off on Saturday.
“Kendall’s spending time with Anwar. She obviously likes him, but both nights they were with a group of friends. She wasn’t affectionate with Anwar,” a source told PEOPLE.
Saturday’s outing comes after Jenner and Anwar, 19, were caught making out at a CFDA Awards afterparty in New York City in June — around the same time she struck up a romance with Philadelphia 76ers player Ben Simmons.
“Never happened. End of story,” the mother of three wrote on Instagram, in response to a video shared by The Shade Room in which DJ Akademiks and Nick Cannon speculated that the pair’s past relationship was the source of a feud between Drake and Kanye West.
Fans have previously speculated that Kim is the “Kiki” named in Drake’s popular song “In My Feelings,” as she has long gone by that nickname.
Over the weekend, a theory went viral on Twitter positing that Drake’s verse on Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Travis Scott’s song “SICKO MODE” — “I crept down the block, made a right, cut the lights, paid the price” — could be a reference to how close he lives to the Wests’ mansion.
The show may be called Bachelor in Paradise, but it’s seemed like anything but bliss for most of the couples lately.
Monday night’s episode saw the destruction of many seasoned pairs, with a few somehow making it out even stronger than before.
With Eric Bigger out on a date with late addition Cassandra Ferguson, Angela Amezcua remains back on the beach crying about how she thought “all in” meant “all in,” and doesn’t understand why her man would go out on a date when they already decided they weren’t seeing other people.
“I just feel absolutely blindsided,” she says.
When Ferguson, 26, confronts, Bigger, 30, about his relationship status during the outing, he tries to explain. “I think at this point she wants to take things slow, but I’m not getting anything in return because it’s off,” he tells her.
They share a few pecks at the end of their date, and upon their return to Playa Escondida, Bigger breaks it down for Amezcua, 29. “I don’t feel connected to you where you’re all in like you said,” he claims. “I don’t feel that.”
Once Bigger decides he wants to keep his options open going forward, Amezcua pulls over Ferguson to tell her side of the story. Ferguson actually empathizes with the model and says she didn’t realize how deep Amezcua’s feelings were for Bigger. So then she tells Bigger, “I feel like you could’ve approached this differently.”
“I feel like you could’ve started things fresh with me, you know what I mean? And it’s not. It’s a little tarnished now,” Ferguson continues. “It just feels all a little icky to me now. It just turns me off.”
This doesn’t stop Ferguson from later accepting a rose from Bigger, though, and Amezcua heads home.
A Saga Comes to an End
Bigger accepting a date from Ferguson after seeming solid with Amezcua sets off a chain of uncertainty among other couples, especially Tia Booth and Colton Underwood. While Booth, 26, says she “can see me and Colton being engaged at some point,” he tells Kevin Wendt differently.
“The more I keep thinking about things, I just don’t know,” the former NFL player says. “I don’t think my heart’s in it right now with Tia. I feel like right now I’m forcing it. I know what she deserves and she doesn’t deserve somebody that’s not all in.”
Underwood, 26, then breaks it to Booth. “I just wanted us to work so band, and it’s just not there,” he says. “You deserve somebody that’s going to be crazy about you every single day.”
Once Underwood assures the Arkansas native he gave their relationship an honest shot, they both decide to leave Paradise.
“I never wanted something as bad as I wanted it to work,” Underwood cries in the van on his way out. “I want somebody I’m going to spend the rest of my life with. I really did give it my all and I really did try. I don’t deserve her. I’m broken.”
John Graham sleeps through the whole thing, and when Jordan Kimball lets him know that Paradise‘s rockiest couple has departed, the former Venmo programmer responds, “Can they do that? What the hell?”
Graham might’ve missed some of the action, but soon, he gets some of his own. Chris Harrison sends in Shushanna Mkrtychyan from Ben Higgins‘ season and Christen “Scallop Fingers” Whitney, who competed for a chance at love with Nick Viall, was on BiP last season and most recently tried her hand on ABC’s The Proposal.
Whitney, 26, asks Graham out on her double date with Mkrtychyan, who picks Kamil Nicalek. Mkrtychyan’s choice obviously upsets Annaliese Puccini, as she and the “social media participant” had been spending time together and seemingly solidified themselves as a couple. But Nicalek, 30, tells Mkrtychyan of his relationship with Puccini, “We made a mutual compromise that if somebody comes in, we would explore the option of meeting someone new. We’re in the friendship zone right now.”
So the two couples head out on a double date, another Jorges Tourges production, as Puccini expresses her worry to anyone on the beach who will listen. Despite her anxiety, the 32-year-old says in an on-camera interview, “If Kamil asked me to get engaged, I feel like even right now, it would be a yes.”
Luckily for Puccini, Nicalek comes back claiming he didn’t feel a connection with Mkrtychyan, 30. “I’m kind of happy to be back,” he tells a very relieved Puccini. “I felt like the connection was not there from the start.”
As the rose ceremony nears, Nicalek also explains his feelings to Mkrtychyan, who keeps referring to Puccini only as “the blonde girl.”
“I just felt like we didn’t really have much to talk about,” Nicalek says. “The connection I felt on the date wasn’t there. You had your guard up really high.”
Despite a last ditch effort from Chelsea Roy to also get Nicalek’s rose, he gives it to Puccini and Roy, 29, heads home. Mkrtychyan, however, scores a rose from the latest addition, German stud Jordan Mauger from the Bachelor Winter Games. Harrison brings him in literally one hour before the rose ceremony and refers to him as “Other Jordan,” with Kimball taking the title of “American Jordan.”
Mauger’s selection sends Whitney packing, since Graham, 28, gives his rose to Olivia Goethals. After all the roses have been handed out, though, Whitney breaks down.
“I feel like so lightheaded and like I might pass out,” she tells Wendt from the floor. “I can’t really hear anything.”
The Canadian firefighter calls for a medic, and viewers are left hanging on whether she’ll make it out of Mexico all right.

Love Still Prevails
Wendt, 34, didn’t only try to fix Whitney’s failing health. He tried to mend his heart after his ex Ashley Iaconetti visited Paradise to get engaged to Jared Haibon, the man she left Wendt for after Winter Games.
Though Wendt has found a loving relationship with Astrid Loch, he admits watching a former girlfriend get proposed to hurt. (While Wendt and Iaconetti never confirmed she lost her virginity with him, they did accept an overnight date together on Winter Games.)
“I’m a very monumental part of her dating life, let’s just put it that way,” he tells Kimball. “I’m a big part of her life.”
Getting a date card is the pick-me-up Wendt needs, and he and Loch, 28, embark on a romantic evening together in which they profess their love for one another. “I want you to know that I’ve more than fallen for you and I do love you,” she tells Wendt, who returns the sentiment.
With Wendt and Loch, plus Kimball and Jenna Cooper, and Krystal Neilson and Chris Randone, still going strong, maybe love is still alive in Paradise after all.
Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.

Last year, the singer, who is currently on performing with husband JAY-Z for their On the Run II tour, was surprised with a special tribute video.
Famous friends, including Michelle Obama and Serena Williams, got in formation by recreating Beyoncé’s iconic look from her “Formation” music video.
Former Destiny’s Child bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland also participated in the tribute, Knowles Lawson, mother-in-law Gloria Carter, and JAY-Z’s grandmother, Hattie White.
Beyoncé and JAY-Z resume their On the Run II tour on Sept. 11 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Bethenny Frankel made the most of the final few hours of summer with her loved ones — her daughter and her dogs.
The Real Housewives of New York star shared a sweet picture of her 8-year-old daughter Bryn curled up with her beloved Lhasa Apso puppies Biggie and Smalls on Instagram at her Hamptons home.
“Bye Bye summer…we’ll miss you,” the Skinny Girl founder, 47, captioned the image, which showed off Frankel’s lush backyard and pool in the background.
The reality star has been using her time in the Hamptons to heal as she continues to mourn the death of her on-off boyfriend Dennis Shields.
“Doing anything in or by the water is life saving,” the Real Housewives of New York City tweeted Sunday. “Beach walks. ocean swims, wakeboarding, clamming, infrared sauna, jacuzzi & my swim really help.”
“When you feel sad, you cry then you just have to force yourself to shift,” she added. “It’s so hard but it works.”
In response to a fan that pointed out that the chemical properties of sea air may help alleviate stress, Frankel wrote: “Exactly. I have had trouble breathing and I actually need it.”
Last week, Frankel shared an uplifting sunset photo to Instagram, which she captioned: “the sun also rises.”
It has been almost a month since the CEO died of a suspected overdose in his Trump Tower apartment in New York on Friday, Aug. 10. He was 51.
Last week, the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office announced that an autopsy was not performed on his body due to a “religious objection.” Thus, his cause of death has been ruled “undetermined.”
When it comes to being a Bravo superfan, none are more super than Chrissy Teigen.
The model took her fandom to a new level Sunday night — and earned herself the countess seal of approval in the process.
In a series of Instagram Stories on Sunday, Teigen showed off her impression of Real Housewives of New York star, Luann de Lesseps, which the housewife was all too happy to share with her social media followers.
A post shared by Luann de Lesseps (@countessluann) on Sep 3, 2018 at 1:04pm PDT
The model-turned-cookbook author has been vocal about her love for the Real Housewives franchise and binge-watching the show from planning her trip to China to be just like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ trip to negotiating what she would need to become a part of the franchise on Twitter.
On Sunday, the 32-year-old model donned a hot pink strapless gown with a large bow as she mimicked the RHONY star by creating a brief parody of the famous New Yorker’s cabaret show, by pointing out the dress’ designer.
In the video, Teigen’s friend can be heard asking, “Who are you wearing?” to which the Cravings author throws her hands in the air and responds, “It’s Jovani!”
The star also mirrors de Lesseps’ exaggerated dance moves and sported her signature grand-finale updo.
I will do housewives if I can have it in my contract i don’t have to do reunions. I think it would be a three part series of me crying and I can’t wear a ballgown on a couch for 12 hours
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) August 23, 2018
De Lesseps promptly took to Instagram to repost the video and praise Teigen.
“@chrissyteigen you nailed it! Glad that you love @jovanifashions! #jovanisisters @bravotv #rhony #anotherjovani,” de Lesseps wrote on Instagram.
Fans of RHONY are aware of de Lesseps’s love for the brand, which is heavily documented on the show and became a source of tension between the housewife and former friend, Dorinda Medley.
During an audience question-and-answer session at her sold-out smash #CountessAndFriends Cabaret show at The Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Friday, in between light-hearted jabs at her costars — and shouts of “Jovani” from the rowdy 1,000+ crowd, de Lesseps said, “It is a Jovani and he actually loves me! To hell with Dorinda. She’s probably in the back cutting up my dresses.”

This is not the first time Teigen has referenced the RHONY star on social media.
On April 17, the model took to Twitter to show off a photo of her growing belly with the iconic line lyric from de Lesseps’ song Money Can’t Buy You Class.
“Elegance is learned my friend,” Teigen wrote.
When de Lesseps heard Teigen was pregnant, the reality star offered to serenade the expectant model with “Livin’ On a Prayer.”

Brooke Shields and her youngest child Grier Hammond Henchy, 12, had a lovely mother-daughter outing on Sunday at the Hampton Classic Horse Show in New York.
Dressed in a black patterned dress and matching bag, the actress and model, 53, was spotted giving a kiss to her tween who wore an off-the-shoulder striped dress.
Shields and husband Chris Henchy, whom she wed in 2001, are also parents to 15-year-old daughter Rowan Francis.

In May, Shields, who landed a Calvin Klein campaign at age 15, gushed about her daughters, telling PEOPLE her kids are a driving force behind her self-esteem.
“My daughters have especially helped me feel confident,” the star shared of her daughters, who she said raid her closet and teach her about Instagram.
Shields rarely shares photos of her girls on social media, and is very careful about how much screen time she allows Rowan and Grier.

“My daughter Rowan doesn’t have any of her passwords. She has to ask me to log her in. She’s so mad and embarrassed with her friends, but I’m tough like that,” the mother of two told PEOPLE in 2016.
Shields also shared that it can be difficult to find the balance between smart parenting and giving her girls freedom.
“It’s the least that I can do, the rest is so hard,” she said. “You don’t want to overprotect them and then they have no armor — so it’s a balance.”
Remember Geoffrey Owens from The Cosby Show?
He portrayed the character of Elvin Tibideaux for seven years on this formerly iconic NBC sitcom?
Well... he's now working part-time as a bagger of groceries at Trader Joe's, while still booking actig gigs and just trying to make a decent living.
For some reason, Fox News felt a need to shame Owens over this apparently pathetic job, writing an entire article about it and including with it an unflattering snapshot of Owens at Trader Joe's.
What did the network do this?

As Senator John McCain was laid to rest, former Secretary of State John Kerry reflected on their longtime friendship — one that thrived despite their different party affiliations.
In fact, Kerry said he respected McCain so much that he “flirted” with the idea of asking the Republican senator to serve as his running mate during his 2004 presidential bid.
“There were difficult issues to try to work out,” Kerry, 74, said on CBS’s Face the Nation while discussing his new memoir, Every Day Is Extra, out Tuesday. “We kind of flirted, but didn’t go on a date!”
The former Secretary of State and Senator first came on to the political landscape after he formally spoke out against the Vietnam War in 1971 (he’d served as a Navy lieutenant in the war). In his interview with CBS, Kerry reveals the similarities he sees between the tensions in the U.S. caused by the Vietnam War and the divisive climate today.
“The similarity is not in the cultural revolution but in the cultural divide that is being exploited, that is, in fact, limiting – if not diminishing – the capacity of our institutions to work,” he told Margaret Brennan.
In Every Day Is Extra, Kerry tracks his career from his time in the Navy and serving as a prosecutor in Massachusetts (when he took down a mob boss), to his five terms serving as senator, the challenges he faced while attempt to find peaceful solutions while secretary of state, and his bid for the presidency in 2004.
The biggest lesson Kerry says he has learned is to live a purposeful life.
President Barack Obama Delivers Eulogy to John McCain
While he reflects on these historical moments and lessons in the book, Kerry told CBS that his most important relationship was with Sen. John McCain. Together they tried to heal the country after the Vietnam War.
“I mean, John McCain and I together tried to figure out: How do we make peace in America? How do we get America to be at peace with itself over Vietnam?” he said.
According to CBS, the politicians pushed for the recovery of soldiers missing in action.
“We were privileged to be in a position to try to heal our country’s wounds,” Kerry told the outlet, “and, I think, to set an example for how people from different parties could come together and put the interests of our nation and the United States Senate front and center.”
The politicians were also united in their criticism of President Trump. Before his death, McCain asked former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush to speak at his funeral. Trump, who has been critical of McCain in the past, did not attend.
After his death, McCain’s camp released his final letter to the country, which many viewed as a last dig at Trump.
“We weaken our greatness when we confuse our patriotism with tribal rivalries that have sown resentment and hatred and violence in all the corners of the globe,” McCain wrote. “We weaken it when we hide behind walls, rather than tear them down, when we doubt the power of our ideals, rather than trust them to be the great force for change they have always been.”
In Kerry’s interview with CBS, he was also critical of Trump. Specifically, Kerry defended the Iran nuclear agreement, which he helped create. Trump has previously claimed it’s the “worst ever.”
“Unfortunately — and I say this sadly — more often than not, really just doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” Kerry said, according to CBS. “He makes things up. And he’s making that up, as he has other things.”
During the interview, Kerry also reflected on the importance of truth and McCain’s legacy.
“You work to implement our democracy by reaching out across the aisle, by building relationships, by believing in the better angels of American value system. And I think John McCain did that,” he said. “I did that, others have done that. But right now we have a culture divide that has been accentuated by political so-called leaders. And what they’re doing is they’re operating in a fact-less world.”
Man, Anthony Bourdain spent his life building a certain reputation as one of the good guys, and it kind of looks like his dick is going to cost him that reputation, at least in part, after his death. Things just keep looking worse for his former partner Asia Argento, who used Bourdain’s money to pay off the 17-year-old whom Argento says she didn’t have sex with but told her friend, Rose McGowan’s partner Rain Dove, in a text message she had sex with him. Oh, and they took a post-coital selfie.
In response to the allegations, CNN has pulled two episodes of Parts Unknown from its streaming service CNN Go, along with an episode she directed. Last week the actress was axed from X Factor Italy, with rumors that she’ll be replaced by her ex-husband.
One of the things Argento allegedly told Dove in the texts TMZ obtained is that Anthony Bourdain hired a private investigator who amassed an eighty page dossier on her accuser, Jimmy Bennett. That is like, exactly the sort of thing Harvey Weinstein did, you know. And she says that Bourdain was pushing her to pay him off against her wishes, along with her plans to “leak” that information to The Guardian.
So far, and probably only because he’s passed, Argento’s behavior hasn’t tarred Bourdain’s name. But it’s pretty clear she’s still looking to drag him through the mud to save her own reputation. I don’t think it’s going to help. CNN is probably doing Bourdain a solid by removing his relationship with Argento from the public eye.

Kiki, do you love me?
A throwaway line turned into a meme before spiraling into being about Kim Kardashian.
For those of you who are new, Drake got into a beef with Pusha T and Kanye West. Pusha T ended up by revealing his son that Drake tried to keep a secret. Knowing he couldn’t do anything to respond, some believe he’s now going after West, who is a pretty easy target.
Kiki is Kim Kardashian’s family nickname and also the color of one of her KKW Beauty lipsticks.
Drake pushed it further by spitting the line “I crept down the block, made a right, cut the lights, paid the price” in a collab with Travis Scott. Drake, who allegedly lives in Toronto, apparently lives down the street from Kardashian. Scott is Kylie Jenner’s baby daddy. So people put two and three together and concluded that Drake banged Kim.
Even Nick Cannon added fuel to the fire saying it wasn’t “farfetched.”
Kim shut that shit down, saying “Never happened. End of story.”
As a response, Drake started following Kim on Instagram. Obviously to slide in her DMs.
I don’t know who Drake is or isn’t banging, but I know what he’s doing here. Drake is a calculated dude and the fact that Pusha and Kanye got one over on him eats at him. It was rumored that Drake had a response that would “end Kanye’s career” before he was asked not to release it.
Now he’s going to keep nipping at Kanye until people forget that Pusha T murdered him.
Can’t wait for that Drake-Taylor Swift song that breaks iTunes.

Another day, another rapper getting a face tattoo.
This time, it’s Offset of Migos.
He already has a number of face tattoos, but he decided to add his daughter’s name, Kulture, to the list. That or he misspelled the name of the Migos album Culture.
Don’t worry, Kulture isn’t special. Offset has the name of all four of his children tattooed on his body. Hers is just right on the jawline, so we’ll see it every time he speaks.
Back in January, Offset got Cardi B tattooed on his neck in honor of his wife. Hope they don’t get divorced. Or she doesn’t change her name like Diddy.
Offset and Cardi welcomed Kulture to the world on July 10. The two have yet to reveal photos of the baby because they aren’t starved for Instagram attention. She teased revealing the baby at the MTV Video Music Awards, but instead kicked off the new season of Punk’D.
Rappers really have to stop with the face tattoos. Lil Wayne was the only successful rapper to pull it off. The rest just out here looking for attention.

The Pornhub awards want the husband of a famous celebrity porn star to serve as their creative director.
According to Page Six, Pornhub is in negotiations with Kanye West to be the creative director for the show. A source says, “There are some insane negotiations going on.” Kanye’s first demand is his wife, Kim Kardashian, be given the award for Best Celebrity Sex Tape because, Imma let you finish Pam and Tommy, but Kim and Ray J had the best video of all time.
Not surprisingly, there is a Celebrity of the Year category. Nominees include Kim, Kylie Jenner, Cardi B, Justin Bieber, Lena The Plug, Selena Gomez, Tana Mongeau, Bella Thorne, Emily Ratajkowski, and Meghan Markle.
I can only assume those are the five most searched for celebrities on the website. A lot of fans are going to be greatly disappointed with the results of most of those searches. But go ahead and search for all those terms. You might stumble upon something fun.
Kanye is a big fan of the site, noting on Jimmy Kimmel Live that he still uses Pornhub despite having a wife and kids. After the clip aired, Pornhub gave Kanye a free lifetime premium membership. Cool, give the the free membership to the rich rapper who’s married to Kim Kardashian. Not the lonely broke guy who hasn’t had sex in five years. Those are the people who truly need the membership.
Pornhub also reached out to Kanye to direct a scene for the website. Clearly they haven’t seen the video for “Famous.”
The Pornhub awards air on September 6. Probably not a good sign that they don’t have a creative director yet.
Colin Kaepernick has not played on an NFL team since 2016, but he continues to make a statement off the field.
On Monday, the Super Bowl quarterback, 30, revealed he is the new face of Nike’s 30th anniversary “Just Do It” campaign. “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything,” reads the ad that was shared on Instagram and Twitter.
The latest Nike ad marks Kaepernick’s first spokesperson gig for the company in over two years and comes despite Nike being the NFL’s official uniform sponsor.
Kaepernick, who has been a Nike athlete since 2011, made headlines in August 2016 when he declined to stand for the anthem when it was played before games. Instead of standing, he kneeled to protest racial injustice and police brutality.
“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick said at the time. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”
Months later, he opted out of his contract with the San Francisco Niners in March 2017 and has not been able to find a new team since. He is now suing the NFL claiming teams colluded to keep him out of the league.
A post shared by colin kaepernick (@kaepernick7) on Sep 3, 2018 at 12:20pm PDT
As more players follow Kaepernick’s lead, President Trump weighed in on the protests in September 2017 with a series of tweets and stated that NFL owners should fire players who do not stand for the anthem.
During a rally speech in Alabama, Trump stated, “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out, you’re fired.’ ”
In May, NFL owners approved rules that force players to stand on the sideline or remain in the locker room during the anthem. If players do not comply with the new policy, they would be subject to league fines and/or individual punishment by their team.
Patton Oswalt has talked about how people started to assume he was rich when they saw him on an episode of Seinfeld playing a video clerk George tried to rent Breakfast at Tiffany’s from. He was on TV, and a really popular show, so he much be rich, right? Obviously, a guest role with a few lines only pays a few hundred dollars, which is nice for the amount of work required but not exactly a fortune.
But what does it mean when someone spends five years on television’s most popular sitcom as a recurring guest and continues to work as a character actor, booking a few roles a year but also works as a bag boy at Trader Joe’s to make ends meet? This is the question people are asking after Geoffrey Owens, who played Elvin Tibideaux on The Cosby Show, was the subject of a Fox News story after being spotted at his day job.
When I look at this picture of Geoffrey Owens, the only things that come to my mind are courage, humility and dedication. Very few artists, especially actors, can fully support themselves in their craft. Taking honest, hard work to offset those dry periods is honorable. pic.twitter.com/tql80NegJt
— Aharon Rabinowitz (@ABAOProductions) September 2, 2018
The good news for Owens is that it means he’s eligible for SAG-AFTRA’s insurance plan, and it’s a very good plan. But takes on this have generally fallen into either the “Haha, nice career there jerk” category or the “Here’s why working at a grocery story makes Geoffrey Owens a hero” category. I don’t think either of these opinions is particularly good.
Owens is a character actor and not a huge star, so this isn’t a story of some major star being forced to scrape by after blowing his millions. There’s no reason to shame someone just for not hitting a big level of success in a very public career. At the same time, people talking about the dignity of work are missing out on the bigger story here.
The Cosby Show was the biggest show on television in its prime, and up until recently it’s been bringing in a ton of money in syndication and from streaming agreements. Owens was in 44 episodes but clearly didn’t get any of the money the show made. And it has made a lot of money. in 2014, The Cosby Show had brought in around $4 million dollars per episode in syndication money in 1986 alone, and there’s a nearly 200 episodes; that adds up to an obscene amount of money.
Owens probably got none of that because of the way his contract was structured. I mean, if he had, he wouldn’t be working at Trader Joe’s. And he wasn’t a minor guest star, Owens was in a full quarter of all the episodes of the shows. Meanwhile, some networks executives, agents at William Morris and a guy who was literally using the money to fly from town to town and rape women made tens to hundreds of millions of dollars.
Sure, there’s dignity in doing work. There’s also dignity in making sure the people who made you a literal fortune aren’t bagging groceries to keep a roof over their head when they’re nearly 60. Owens isn’t working at Trader Joe’s because he couldn’t get enough work as an actor to not have to work at Trader Joe’s, he’s working there because Bill Cosby fucked him. You know, figuratively this time.

Crazy Rich Asians has done insanely well at the box office, hitting number one for three weeks in a row. It’s brought in another $22 million this weekend, bringing its total to $110.9 million. If it picks up another $8 million today, it could blow past Halloween‘s opening weekend total of $30.6 million in 2007.
There has been a lot of of ink spilled about the success of a film with an entirely Asian cast, but what I want to talk about is how this differs from movies like Ghostbusters and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which have also had much ink spilled about their diverse casts. Although an all-Asian cast isn’t exactly diverse, it’s kind of the opposite of being diverse. I mean, it’s good because Asians are pretty under-represented in American cinema, but diverse isn’t the right word for it.
But I’ve been told that the problem that basically anyone who didn’t like Ghostbusters (the new one, not the good one) or The Last Jedi didn’t like it was because it wasn’t all white dudes. So it strikes me as funny because, if that was true, wouldn’t those same people be giving the Crazy Rich Asians trailer thumbs down and trolling the stars on social media?
I mean, I’m sure there are some people doing that, but it’s not any sort of phenomenon. There’s no large contigent that people making noise about it’s proof “the SJWs” are ruining movies and no one is writing think pieces for blogs with names that are ironically reclaiming incredibly mildly insulting terms for certain types of women about how everyone who doesn’t like it probably drowns kittens and masturbates to pictures of Hitler laying under a glass coffee table.
I have a theory about this, and it’s a little crazy, so bear with me here; I think the difference is that Crazy Rich Asians is actually a good movie. I think that the negative opinions of films like Ghostbusters starts organically (Richard Roeper, one of the most respected film critics around, absolutely panned it) and then some dipshits who just finished watching Jordan Peterson tell them to clean their room while dealing with Gonzo’s latest stunt going wrong get on Twitter and say “See, it’s terrible because of women whom I hate because they won’t touch my special place.” That’s like one percent of people involved and everyone else thinks those guys suck, too, but now it’s a culture war issue and before you know it, the BBC World Service is inviting some adjunct professor of women’s studies from Valerie Solanas University to explain why everyone who doesn’t want to watch the latest big-budget Hollywood popcorn film is supporting genocide.
Crazy Rich Asians was also produced outside the normal Hollywood system, as well. It’s main backer was Ivanhoe Pictures, an Asian film investment group that was looking to make films with Asian casts. Hollywood production companies had generally not wanted to make a movie with an Asian cast. Once the film was done, however, studios were falling all over each other to distribute the film because, once again, it’s a good movie, and quality movies do still make money. I do think this is part of the reason why there’s no big “anyone who doesn’t see this movie is racist” marketing push for the film the way there was for, say, Black Panther. If you don’t think Disney and other big studios pay people to astroturf shit like that, you’re dreaming.
The important takeaway here is that movies don’t need to be full of white people to succeed at the domestic box office, they just need to be good. Or, failing that, they need to have Disney’s marketing department behind them telling you to just ignore the fact that it falls apart in the third act like Black Panther did. But I think making a good film will probably work out better in the long run. No one is going to be talking about the Marvel movies in 20 years, we’ll have moved on to a new kind of genre film. Crazy Rich Asians is a film that people will still be watching and talking about long into the future, though.

Gang’s all here — and stylishly, to boot.
The four Beckham kids have obviously inherited their mom Victoria‘s sense of fashion, as made evident on the cover of British Vogue‘s October issue, which promises a dialogue about “family, fame & fashion” from the former Spice Girl and husband David Beckham.
While the children (Harper Seven, 7, Cruz David, 13, Romeo James, 16, and Brooklyn Joseph, 19) posed poshly for the magazine’s cover with their mom and dog Olive, the outdoor shoot also included a little summer-activity fun.
In a second photo from the spread, shot by Mikael Jansson, the kids all point water guns at each other while their parents lounge on the grass. Victoria, 44, is the only family member looking at the camera — impressive, since Olive is jumping over her lap at that very moment!

The Beckham brood recently celebrated a big benchmark for one of their members: Romeo, who turned sweet 16 on Saturday.
In a second festive image, Romeo sat in front of a bunch of silver and white balloons (as well as a table piled high with presents!), while in another, she showed off the birthday boy’s tennis-themed cake.

Another milestone among the family was Harper’s new haircut — which David, 43, performed himself! The former soccer star was doing his best to keep his emotions in check in a black-and-white photo he posted to Instagram in late July, showing him taking a pair of styling shears to his youngest child’s long locks.
While Harper was all smiles in anticipation of her new ‘do, David couldn’t help sporting a pouting expression as he looks down at his daughter’s soon-to-be-snipped hair.
He wrote, “Someone’s happy & someone’s not so happy but I didn’t think it was possible for this little one to look anymore beautiful but ”
You have to give credit where credit is due, it’s tough to wear neon. There are very few in this world who can pull it off. Look, I threw on a neon yellow once and I’m pretty sure I lost some friends over it. It didn’t make me look cool, I probably looked like a radioactive Big Bird. But two find two stunners who can pull it off, Kim Kardashian West and Julissa Bermudez, is quite amazing.
If I was one of those people living in a basement and wearing tinfoil on my head I might consider this to be a sexy conspiracy. Kim Kardashian West and Julissa Bermudez decided to both wear neon just to mess with us, get us all stirred up, know that battle lines would be drawn. Kim Kardashian West and Julissa Bermudez knew they can both pull it off, but wanted to see if we’d fall into the trap of figuring out who was hotter. Well, you beautiful ladies, we willing fell into that trap. Kim Kardashian West and Julissa Bermudez are both amazing in neon and trying to decide between the two of them is going to be the hardest decision any of us will make all week.
Kim Kardashian West or Julissa Bermudez? Who’s neon dress is shining brighter than the other? Kim Kardashian West or Julissa Bermudez? Who will glow in our memories the longest? Kim Kardashian West or Julissa Bermudez? Who can say that Julissa Bermudez in a neon dress is sexier than Kim Kardashian West in a dress?

According to Moët & Chandon’s wine quality and communication manager Marie-Christine Osselin, french fries and champagne are a match made in heaven.
“Champagne is a wine that asks for simple ingredients, no more than three,” Osselin told The Drinks Business.
The reason pairing a glass of bubbly with something greasy is due to the nature of each item, says Food and Wine‘s wine editor Ray Isle.
“I’ve been saying this for years, as have many, many sommeliers,” Isle says. “Basically, salt and fat plus high acid and bubbles equals a great combo.”

While french fries sound like an obvious option when you’re three glasses of champagne deep, fried chicken also has a good reputation for being its partner in crime. New York City restaurant Birds & Bubbles, while now permanently closed, made waves in the Manhattan dining scene in 2014 with a menu that focused on pairing the two unlikely friends.
“Its effervescent acidity works as the ultimate grease cutter, keeping your palate crisp and clean as you chow through the salty deliciousness of fried yardbird,” says Southern Living‘s Jennifer V. Cole.
But don’t just take their word for it — you can try this combo for yourself at Richard Blais‘ fried chicken restaurant, The Crack Shack, where they even have a Moët champagne vending machine in-house. And hey, a side of fries won’t hurt either.
How wonderful life is for Sir Elton John when Watford soccer team wins in front of him and his boys.
For the superstar singer — who took sons Elijah Joseph Daniel, 5½, and Zachary Jackson Levon, 7½, with him to watch the game on Sunday — it was a memorable day as they beat a team from across north London: Tottenham Hotspur.
During the match, which Watford won 2-1 after initially going behind, John was seen embracing the boys and raising his fists in celebration, his face filled with joy as the team pulled off the result.

John and Furnish, 55, have a couple of well-rounded kiddos on their hands. Aside from sports, Elijah and Zachary are super into films — especially of one type.
“They love animation movies, so I can’t wait to take them to see ,” John told PEOPLE in March of his family film Sherlock Gnomes, which he composed music for.
He added, “They love the original one .”
