On Wednesday, while promoting her new cookbook sequel, Cravings: Hungry for More, Teigen was asked to reveal what Legend’s best and worst parenting skills were when it came to the couple’s two children, Luna Simone and Miles Theodore.
“He will say no and then if asks one more time, it’s a yes,” Teigen, 32, admitted to BUILD Series. “He’s a bit of a pushover with Luna. I think it’s because they look so much alike and he’s like, ‘Okay, you beautiful being. Anything you want.'”
“He needs to learn to say no because I’m the tough guy,” she continued. “It’s always a thing in any household, there’s always one.”
Though Legend may have trouble disciplining their two-year-old daughter — who Teigen says is very spoiled — and eventually their 4-month-old son, there are skills that he continues to impress his wife with.
“He’s also insanely patient,” Teigen said of her husband of five years. “He’s amazing at diaper changing still.”
Added the Cravings author: “He gives them so much attention no matter what’s going on in his life or my life or work-wise. They never feel like they’re like second to work and I think he’s really great with that.”

During the interview, Teigen also talked about healthy eating and how she balances indulgence, which she said was a top priority for her while creating recipes for the second edition of the cookbook.
“I think it’s so important to indulge in things… that’s what’s so great about the book,” she shared, noting that the “Thai mom” chapter is her favorite for its diverse options. “There’s so many moments in the book where you want to share this decadent, rich food with other people.”
Reflecting on the cookbook changes, Teigen noted, “I feel like the first one I was like, ‘Cheese! Ham! Bacon! Ham! Cheese! More ham!’ And this one I’m like, ‘This is good without ham.'”
Even with those temptations, the Lip Sync Battle co-host says Legend, 39, helps keep their eating habits in check.

“John can be a jerk because he really enjoys the healthy recipes,” she joked. “But I think we’re finding as we grow older the pounds just aren’t shedding like they used to.”
“My mind leans towards the everything bagel cream cheese breakfast bake, we’re all over the place …but we do find ourselves having to navigate towards eating better,” Teigen explained.
Emilia Clarke will forever be the Mother of Dragons, and she’s got the tattoos to prove it!
On Wednesday, the 31-year-old actress who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the beloved HBO series Game of Thrones showed off her new wrist ink— three flying dragons.
“MOD 4 LYFE!!!!@_dr_woo_ made sure this mamma ain’t NEVER forgetting her babies…. ,” Clarke captioned an Instagram post adding that she briefly passed out.
The star went to celebrity go-to tattoo artist, Dr. Woo, for her delicate dragons.
Clarke first talked about getting the tattoos during an appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan in May after Ryan Seacrest revealed he’d been trying to set up an appoint at a tattoo parlor but couldn’t because it was already booked by Clarke.
“I was in a tattoo parlor the other day trying to get an appointment and they said that they were full because you’re coming in to get a tattoo of a dragon?” Seacrest asked Clarke.
Kelly Ripa then chimed in with, “Are you really doing it?” Clarke excitedly responded by saying, “Yes! Sorry, mum!”
“I’m going to get a dragon right here kind of flying away,” Clarke explained after admitting she felt the need to commemorate her time on the show.
“So I think that’s cool. A little kind of peace out.”

Clarke also revealed she already has a tattoo of a bee on her left pinkie finger also from Dr. Woo.
Of course, Clarke isn’t the only Game of Thrones star to pay homage to the show with ink.
In June, Sophie Turner, who plays Sasana Stark, revealed she got a tattoo of direwolf, the sigil of House Stark with the words “the pack survives” written below it.

Turner, 22, later explained on The Late Late Show with James Corden, that it’s a nod to the Stark family.
“When the snow falls and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives. It’s just a quote from last season,” Turner said after getting backlash for appearing to spoil the upcoming season.
The final season of Game of Thrones will return in January of 2019 on HBO.
The 72-year-old was spotted in Timpanogos, Utah carrying a salad and a banana on Wednesday, wearing a pink sweatshirt and grey sweats.
Barzee was released from the Draper Prison shortly after 8 a.m., Utah Department of Corrections spokeswoman Kaitlin Felsted confirmed to local TV station KUTV.
Barzee has spent the last 15 years behind bars after her and her husband Brian David Mitchell kidnapped Smart, now 30, from her bedroom.
In 2009, Barzee pleaded guilty to kidnapping for her role in Smart’s abduction. She also agreed to testify against Mitchell, who was convicted in December 2010 and is serving two life sentences.
Barzee was meant to be behind bars until 2024, however, the parole board ruled that the time she spent in federal prison, jail and the Utah State Hospital prior to her conviction counted towards her sentence.
The time served meant Barzee had served the 15-year maximum term she was sentenced to so the parole board had to release her early.

Before Barzee’s release, Smart said she was both “surprised and disappointed” in a statement obtained by local TV station KSL.
“It incomprehensible how someone who has not cooperated with her mental health evaluations or risk assessments and someone who did not show up to her own parole hearing can be released into our community.”
“I am trying to understand how and why this is happening and exploring possible options.”
Days later, Smart spoke at a news conference and urged authorities to reconsider freeing Barzee.
“Wanda Barzee saw me as her slave. She called me her ‘handmaiden’ and she never hesitated to let her displeasure with me be known,” Smart said.
“I do believe she is a threat. She is a woman who had six children and yet could co-conspire to kidnap a 14-year-old girl, and not only sit next to her while being raped, but encouraged her husband to continue raping me,” Smart said in reference to the nine months she was held captive.
“I would urge the powers that be, and anyone who works under them, to really, strongly reconsider this situation, to look at all the facts, look at her mental status, and see if they really and honestly truly feel like she is no longer a threat and that she is ready to be released.”
Barzee will be on supervised release for five years, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.
You’ve likely noticed some celebrities appearing as spokespeople for various services—for example, William Shatner may be as well-known for his appearances in Priceline commercials almost as much as for his role in Star Trek: The Original Series. You may also have noticed your favorite athlete using one or two different brands of clothing or gear—for example, Tiger Woods has had a long and productive relationship with Nike.
But have you ever wondered about how much influence these attempts at “celebrity branding” truly have over your impressions and buying decisions? The impact here goes deeper than you might think.
Celebrity Branding in a Nutshell
Celebrity branding and endorsements can take many forms, but the end goal is always the same: use the recognizability and visibility of a known celebrity to make your product more visible or be seen in a more favorable light.
To do this, some companies request their celebrities use a product on a regular basis, such as using a specific brand of sports apparel. Others ask celebrities to appear in commercials and other ads. Still others pay celebrities to mention their brand in a social media message.
There are a few different ways to gauge the true effectiveness—and impact—of celebrity branding. For starters, we can look at the prices paid out to celebrities for their endorsements. In some cases, celebrities can make millions to tens of millions of dollars for associating themselves with a line of products. And according to Marketwatch, the announcement of a major celebrity endorsement is capable of influencing a rise in stock prices, and increase sales by an average of 4 percent. Clearly, there’s something to this practice, or companies wouldn’t be willing to shell out that much money.
We can also look at objective scientific research. One Taiwanese study found that consumers have greater recall of products when they’re associated with a celebrity, regardless of whether they were fans of that celebrity or not. Apparently, all it takes is the recognition factor; if we recognize a face, regardless of whether we like the person behind it, we can’t help but have some kind of connection to it. From there, the product they’re endorsing becomes more memorable, and that lasting memory can influence our purchasing decisions.
According to one study from the University of Arkansas, consumers between the ages of 18 and 24 often model their appearance and identity based on celebrities, whether they mean to or not. This age group is far more susceptible to celebrity branding efforts than other age groups, since even a subtle endorsement of a product or service can persuade someone to purchase it.
Guarding Yourself Against Manipulation
Even if you’re aware of this celebrity endorsement effect, you may still be vulnerable to it. All it takes is one sports match or TV commercial with a celebrity at the forefront to shift your perspective and attention. So what actionable steps can you take to limit your susceptibility?
- Comparison shop. When you’re about to buy something, don’t go with the brand that first pops into your mind. Instead, take the time to comparison shop. Sites like In My Area, Consumer Reports, and Pricewatch are especially good at this; a few minutes of research should let you know whether the brand or product you’re considering is truly worth the money, and whether there’s a less visible competitor that can offer you a better deal.
- Ask yourself “why?” At various points in your buying decision process, ask yourself “why?” Why would this celebrity endorse this product? The answer is, they’re probably receiving monetary compensation. When you think of one specific brand when you need to buy a new product, ask yourself why you thought of that brand. Is it because the last time you saw it was in a commercial with a celebrity?
- Check your information diet. Finally, take the time to modify your information diet. Make sure you’re getting news and information from multiple different sources, and try not to get caught in a loop of seeing the same ads over and over.
Celebrity branding is likely to continue as a major marketing and advertising strategy, thanks to how effective it truly is. And while it’s perfectly acceptable to use these instances as opportunities to learn more about products and services you might purchase anyway, you should also be aware of the psychological effects of celebrity branding—and learn to fight back against them.
Dickey Betts is in critical but stable condition after an accident at his Sarasota, Florida, home on Monday.
Betts’ manager and longtime friend David Spero confirmed the news to PEOPLE, adding, “I know his fans will see soon.”
“He went out to his backyard on Little Sarasota Bay and while playing with the family dog, slipped and cracked his head, causing bleeding from the brain,” the statement read.
The “Ramblin’ Man” writer has been sedated at a local hospital following the accident Monday evening and is scheduled for brain surgery on Friday to relieve swelling.
“The family appreciates all of your thoughts and prayers during this very trying time. Dickey is a notorious fighter and he is displaying that now!” Betts’ wife Donna said in the statement.
Betts previously canceled tour dates after suffering a minor stroke at his Sarasota home in August.
Three months prior, he returned to the stage after a four-and-a-half-year hiatus to perform with his new Dickey Betts Band, which includes his son and guitarist Duane. The band was set to go on tour later this year.
“It was just a few days ago that Dickey was telling me how excited he was to get back in front of the fans on November 1. It is very unfortunate, for all involved, that we need to cancel those shows. Please add Dickey into your thoughts and prayers,” Spero added.
Betts is one of the last two original The Allman Brothers Band members, along with Jai Johanny “Jaimoe” Johanson. Drummer Butch Trucks died in January 2017 at age 69 and singer Gregg Allman died in May 2017 at age 69.
Body shots can refer to several different things. If you are a fighter then it means literally striking your opponent’s body. If you are a college student then it means drinking alcohol from a woman’s navel. But when you are a gorgeous actress it usually refers to photographs. Given the context of this site you have probably figured out which one applies here. Either of the former options are also applicable to Katrina Bowden as well, but I have no idea why she would consent to sparring, she has so much to lose if she receives a broken nose. And I doubt the body shots are anything more than a wet dream.
Katrina needs to have more than just 30 Rock and John and Tucker Vs Evil to her name. I know she has been in several other things apart from those, but since I am hard pressed to remember the names of any of them I don’t think they matter all that much. Fortunately, she started out so young that she has been around for a decade and is still only thirty. That means she has a hell of a long time to keep pumping out flicks, so chances are one might be another hit.

Shauna Sexton doesn’t get a ton of headlines all to herself. Usually it’s Ben Affleck’s girlfriend or Ben Affleck’s side chick or something of this ilk. I’m glad to see she’s now branching out into the world of not being constantly associated with Ben Affleck.
Honestly, these articles should be more about Shauna and less about Affleck. He’s got his demons he needs to wrestle with, so we can leave him and all talk of him in rehab where it belongs. This will give us more time to focus on Shauna Sexton.
Okay, so, Shauna Sexton. She’s got a half shirt on, that’s fun. She looks like she’s probably on her way to work out or just on her way back from working out. She seems nice, I guess.
Oh, this isn’t working. I wonder if she’s talking to Ben Affleck. Do you guys think that Affleck will start being known as Shauna Sexton’s side piece? I wonder how the tables will turn once he slinks his way out of there. It’s all about controlling the narrative, and I think Shauna Sexton is hot enough to control whatever narrative she likes.

He may have quashed his beef with Meek Mill, but Drake is now in another battle with a woman who once claimed that he'd gotten her pregnant.
Drake says that, in addition to this baby scam, this woman made false rape allegations against him and demanded that he buy her silence.
He is suing her for extortion and for defamation.
According to court documents filed by Drake's team and obtained by TMZ, Drake met Layla Lace at one of his concerts in early 2017.
Specifically, he met the curvaceous Instagram model while he was on his Boy Meets World Tour in Manchester, England.
In February of 2017, Drake says that he and Layla had a consensual hookup.
The sexual activity is said to have taken place in his hotel room.
According to Drake's team, "Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed oral sex."
Drake's attorney, celebrity lawyer Larry Stein, says that Layla was fine with the hookup -- but enraged when Drake left it at that.
Apparently, she had been hoping that Drake would take her on tour with him, and did not take it well when he did not.
Though Drake and Layla continued to text, evidence contained within the lawsuit shows that Layla was more demanding of Drake's attention.
Documents claim that Layla began to imagine a relationship beyond a hookup and flirtatious texts -- that she came to believe that the two of them were dating.
That, the lawsuit says, was a factor when she claimed in April of 2017 that Drake had gotten her pregnant and then ghosted her.
Things got worse from there.
Drake's team alleges that, when Layla was unable to get anything out of him or produce any evidence of an actual pregnancy or child, she changed tactics.
It was then that Layla allegedly accused Drake of rape -- which was investigated by police and then cleared.
While police failing to find evidence of sexual assault is not the same thing as proving that it never happened, Drake's team has that text messaging history.
With those text messages as evidence demonstrating Layla's desperation to see him, they hope to prove defamation.
Sexual assault allegations should always be taken seriously, in part because the number of false reports are dwarfed by real ones, which are in turn dwarfed by the number of survivors who never come forward.
But that does not mean that there are never false reports. While it's rare for a jilted ex to go to such extremes, it sounds like Layla was not even an ex.
Based upon these documents, it sounds like Layla was a hookup with whom Drake later flirted in text messages before they became too much.
Unless there is more to this story that we're not seeing, it sounds like she may have become a stalker.
Not all stalkers are deranged fans. Some stalkers imagine an elaborate relationship with a celebrity, and then become enraged when the celebrity does not share their delusion.
Drake says that, when the sexual assault claim fell through, she tried to demand money to keep her from going public.
That said, so far, we have not heard Layla's team's side of the story.
We know that Drake fathered one secret love child in the past. Let's not pretend that he isn't capable of being shady.
But if she really did try to extort money and make false claims about Drake in the process, he may have a very solid case for defamation and extortion.
We'll be sure to keep an eye on this case as it develops.
Cinemex is Mexico’s equivalent of AMC, Cinemark, or Regal here in the States, a big conglomerate with lots of multiplexes in lots of states. Jamie Lee Curtis and original Halloween director John Carpenter shot this promo for the theater chain in which they talk a bit about the film before introducing a trailer with some new footage.
Advance word on the forty year old sequel to the original out of Toronto is mostly positive. It’s a down and dirty sequel that ignores all the other sequel mythology and gets back to Laurie Strode vs Michael Myers. With the exception of some bad missteps like Your Highness and Our Brand is Crisis, director David Gordon Green has a pretty great track record, leaving me excited to see what he’s got in store.
It’s hard for Halloween fans to get excited for any Halloween sequel because most of them have turned out rotten. There’s a handful of fun sequels in there like Season of the Witch and H2O, but it’s mostly a lot of garbage with some memorable kills and a lot of Donald Pleasance slumming. This feels like one to be at least marginally excited about, though.
Halloween opens worldwide on October 19.
Kim Kardashian apparently does not read The Hollywood Gossip.
It provides us with some solace, however, to at least realize that she doesn't read the Internet at all.
That's our main takeaway from this sneak peek at this Sunday's Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode, as Kim confides with Khloe early on about the major secret everyone in the family has been tasked with... well... keeping.
This secret is that Kylie Jenner is pregnant with Travis Scott's baby.
“The funnest game ever is the Kylie pregnancy game, just to see what people think,” says Kim to her sister. “Like, there were pictures of her out on TMZ and she looked so skinny.”
“I know, ’cause it’s the angle,” replied Khloe. “They got her from face-on. But if they got a side shot, it would have been over for her.”
Yes, game over.
The implication here is that no one outside of Kylie's very close circle is aware that she's expecting...
... even though pretty much EVERYone was aware that Kylie was expecting.
We helped break this news back in September, and we're pretty sure these Season 15 episodes were filmed in November or December.
(Remember the fight Kim and Khloe got into with Kourtney about her not showing up for the Christmas card shoot?)
Still, the family evidently believes that anyone outside of, like, Calabasas is clueless simply because Kylie herself had not confirmed her pregnancy at the time of filming.
Later in this clip, Kim tells Jenner that her expecting state “has been the best-kept secret of our generation," which is just an amazing quote.
“I’m not trying to keep it secret,” Jenner says. “I’m really doing this for myself.”
(Editor's Note: You were, by definition, keeping it a secret. The basis for said secret-keeping wasn't really the question here.)
“Your friends deserve awards. Like, seriously,” Kim responds. “Now you know you have some real ones. That wouldn’t have happened in my day.”
Jenner never actually addresses her situation until AFTER she gave birth, finally saying once Stormi Webster entered the world:
I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions.
I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world.
I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how.
There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned.
I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.
G’day mates! Let’s throw another shrimp on the barbie and enjoy Miss Universe Australia Tegan Martin looking stunning on the beach!
Australia’s surrounded by water, so it’s got some of the best beaches in the world. Of course, this is just one more feather in Tegan Martin’s cap as she looks right at home soaking up the sun at the beach. She’s got an orange bikini on and is looking like the pro that she is.
I wonder when Miss Universe is going to truly diversify and start welcoming beings from other planets to compete. I’m sure that Tegan Martin could stare down even the hottest women on Kremulak, but still, it’s kind of cheap to deem someone Miss Universe when they’re only competing against beings from one planet.
Get Uranus in there, mixing it up. Who knows what kind of life forms lie beyond Jupiter? Beings we want competing in future Miss Universe pageants, that’s for sure.
So, Tegan Martin, you think you’ve got what it takes to go up against the big guns? I feel like she’s got a fighting chance against the rest of the women on this planet, but I’m willing to change my mind if there’s something hotter out there.

“We do keep in touch,” Kotb, 54, said Tuesday on Watch What Happens Live. “She’s somebody who sort of guided me through the process when I was wondering like, ‘Can I do it?’ She said to me, ‘Oh yes you can.’ ”
She explained, “I remember thinking, ‘I wonder if it’s too late. I wonder if I missed my lane or my window.’ And she said, ‘There is no box anymore. You go for it.’ And she’s been kind of a guiding light.”

Savannah Guthrie chimed in on WWHL, “These two have the loveliest friendship. I have seen it behind the scenes. It’s so wonderful.”
Just as Bullock inspired Kotb, Guthrie added, “Hoda, I think, has inspired other women who are like, ‘You know what, why not me? I know I’m a mother, and I’m gonna do something.’ I think that’s incredible.”
On Today, Bullock got emotional as she said, “Hundreds of thousands of children that are ready to be your child, you’re a forever parent the minute you accept the love of that child.”
She added, “It’s amazing to me how we can take away people’s happiness by telling them this is the box that you have to stay in. There is no box. There’s no box.”

On WWHL, Kotb got candid about the weighty moment she found out she was going to be a mother.
“I still remember my phone going off, and it was someone from the adoption agency saying, ‘Call me now.’ And I remember, I paused for one second because I thought to myself, ‘This is a line of demarcation in my life.’ and I wrote down, ’11:54. This is the moment.’ ”
She continued, “And I felt it, and I dialed this number and she said, ‘She’s here.’ It’s the closest thing to a live birth that I would ever experience. It was such a beautiful moment.”
