Mackenzie McKee has experienced all the downsides of Teen Mom fame with few of the benefits.
She's been living in the public eye and has often found herself at the center of heated controversies -- but all the while, she wasn't receiving a paycheck from MTV.
That's soon to change, as it was revealed on Monday that Mackenzie will be joining the cast of Teen Mom OG.
The news has received a mixed response from fans, with many applauding the Teen Mom 3 alum for finally making her way back on TV full-time -- and others wishing she'd remained out of the spotlight.
As for McKee's TMOG colleagues -- well, it seems she'll have to work hard to win them over.
Here's everything we know about the situation thus far:
1. The Newcomer
2. Familiar Territory
3. Fighting For Her Spot
4. An Odd Arrangement
5. A Late Start
6. Trial Run
What is... someone who came oh very so close, but, in the end, failed to set a record on the country's most popular game show?
If that is the question, we can now report the answer:
After coming out of top of 32 consecutive Jeopardy games, this polarizing contestant finally met his match on Monday night, finishing as a runner-up to a very smart opponent named Emma Boettcher.
Holzhauer was bound to lose at some point, of course.
But the timing of this defeat must sting a little bit.
It came with James missing out on Ken Jennings' record-setting total of $2.5 million in prize money by just $58,484.
At the rate Holzhauer had been going, that's the equivalent of just two games or so.
Still, the Las Vegas gambler holds impressive stats:
He won an average of $77,000 per game and, when he buzzed in, he got the question correct 97 percent of the time.
Holzhauer played 11 games in which he did not buzz in with a single incorrect answer -- and he holds the mark for the most money ever gared in one Jeopardy game.
So... how did it all come crashing down for James Holzhauer?
He actually trailed Boettcher by $3,200 heading into Final Jeopardy.
Alex Trebek therefore called on Holzhauer second in this concluding round in order to see if he answered the question correctly... which he did. HOWEVER...
“His wager, a modest one for the first time,” said an audibly stunned Trebek, as it was revealed that Holzhauer had bet a conservative $1,399, bumping his score from $23,400 to $24,799.
Boettcher - who led with $26,600, heading into Final Jeopardy - sealed her winning deal and her place in game-show lore by also acing Final Jeopardy, wagering $20,201 to net a total of $46,801...
... along with gasps from Trebek and the audience.
“Oh gosh! What a payday,” exclaimed Trebek, as Holzhauer walked across the podium to give the giant-killer a sporting high-five. “What a game! Oh my gosh!”
James proceeded to be a great sport upon his defeat.
“I lost to a really top-level competitor. She played a perfect game. And that was what it took to beat me,” he told The New York Times of his loss.
He also cracked us up on Twitter by taking a jab at Drake:
Combined with his $2,000 for coming in second place, Holzhauer’s total winnings is $2,464,216.
And he at least has one reason to be happy that he won't be playing again.
"My kid cried about the possibility of her dad losing, so I told her we could have a party the day after it inevitably happens. Now she cries when I win," James recently Tweeted.
Sounds like a party is coming to the Holzhauer household!
“Nobody likes to lose,” Holzhauer added to The New York Times. “But I’m very proud of how I did, and I really exceeded my own expectations for the show.
"So I don’t feel bad about it.”
Congratulations to both him and Emma Boettcher.
Because Drake didn’t.

One week after becoming a mother for the third time, Jessa Duggar has opened up about giving birth to her brand new daughter.
And she's giving us a fresh look at little Ivy Jane Seewald in the process.
“I am feeling great after this birth,” Jessa said in a TLC-produced video today, sitting alongside her third child and her only husband, Ben Seewald.
The reality star then divulged a few details about her delivery and labor -- but she refrained from going into too many of the very personal tidbit.
“It was very quick. My water broke at 8:30 in the morning, but I didn’t have any contractions until 2:30 in the afternoon," she said.
"Then she was born at 6:00. So really just three and a half hours of labor.”
That actually is a short period of time for one to be in labor, although we're sure time passes rather slowly when one is in that position.
As for why Jessa and Ben selected the name Ivy Jane?
Seewald said that they agreed awhile back and saw no reason to make any changes.
He also explained that there's not a ton of significance in these names.
"We just liked those two names... we actually had the name picked out before she was born," Ben says in this same video, referencing a former Queen of England named Lady Jane as inspiration.
He never elaborates much beyond that, but whatever:
Ivy Jane really is a pretty name, isn't it?
Jessa and Ben are also parents to a three-year old named Spurgeon and a two-year old named Henry.
Upon announcing the arrival of their sister, Jessa remarked on the size differences at birth of these siblings.
“She feels so tiny compared to her siblings,” she todl Us Weekly several days ago, adding:
“We’re so grateful to God for this precious gift. She is already so loved. Her big brothers adore her!”
It's clear from the video just how loved Ivy truly is; consider what Ben says of his daughter while talking to the TLC camera:
“Holding little Ivy for the first time was a really special moment for me. I was kind of taking it all in. …
"The other day the thought occurred to me, ‘Wow, I could be walking her down the aisle someday.’”
The famous couple confirmed back in January that they were set to have a baby once again.
“We are overjoyed that God has blessed us with a baby, due late this spring!” the then-pregnant Jessa said at the time.
“From the day we found out we were expecting, we both guessed boy, and if our predictions are right then we already have a ton the clothing and accessories ready to pass down!
"At the same time, we would absolutely love it if we found out we were having a girl — though we’ve joked that we’d be starting from square one and might have to learn a few things."
Welp, it looks like they'll need to start right back from that first square.
So far, though, they seem to be adjusting just fine to it.
When you are in ethhhpaña, you need to watch your back when you’re walking through a crowd of crazy fans because one of them may grab your head and try to makeout with you without warning. That’s what happened to Miley Cyrus while she was walking to her car with Liam Hemsworth on Sunday. She managed to dodge the kiss faster than your prom date did yours and made it safely to her car.

While I couldn’t give a shit less about auto racing, films about the sport are usually pretty good. From good old fashioned fun like Six Pack and Talladega Nights to prestige pictures like Rush and the upcoming Ford v Ferrari, filmmakers have been able to mine drama from, to quote George Carlin, “a bunch of redneck jerk-offs driving 500 miles in a circle.”
The film tells the story of a team of engineers and a wild card driver who set out to prove that American cars could compete in serious auto racing. Matt Damon and Christian Bale star as the chief engineer and driver, respectively, who are hired by Lee Iacocca (Jon Bernthal) and Henry Ford II (Tracy Letts) to build a car that can outrun Ferrari. I would imagine that, along the way, they all learn a little something about life. Also on hand is Outlander‘s Caitriona Balfe playing Bale’s age-inappropriate wife.
The film comes to us from James Mangold, the man behind Logan, Walk the Line, and Girl, Interrupted, so expect plenty of Oscar buzz, especially with Christian Bale having lost weight again to play real life driver Ken Miles.
Ford v Ferrari races into theaters on November 15.
Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? continued on Sunday night.
