We don't really know all the ins and outs of Jenelle Evans' financial situation.
But like ... we know it can't be great.
It's been almost two years now since the Teen Mom money stopped coming in -- she was fired after her husband, David Eason, brutally killed her dog.
Since then, she's been trying to become an influencer, but it hasn't worked too well for her.
Whenever she does manage to get a company to work with her, they quickly pull out of the deal with her when Teen Mom fans inform them of how terrible she is.
She's also tried to start a career as a YouTuber, but she hasn't been too successful with that, either.
It's partly because she doesn't upload nearly enough -- her biggest endeavor so far was her six-part series about that time she temporarily lost custody of her kids after David killed her dog -- and partly because a lot of the people who even know who she is don't want to give her the views.
She keeps hinting at a return to TV, saying that the only thing stopping her from taking one of the many offers that have come her way is because of her contract with MTV.
But she keeps lying about when the contract is up, too, so we'd say there's a good chance those offers are a lie, too.
On top of all of that, David refuses to work.
He had that business cleaning boats, but we haven't heard anything about it for a while, though it does look like he still tries to sell homemade knives every now and then.
So how are they affording their bills, their house payment, child support, and the cost of raising three kids full-time?
We really have no idea.
But we do know that Jenelle may have come up with a scheme to get a whole bunch of money real quick.
OK, so if you're big into Teen Mom gossip, then you know that many fans believe that MTV has set up trust funds for all of the kids on the show -- this hasn't been spelled out by MTV or anything, but that's what most people assume.
It's not like a baby is going to spend a paycheck, you know?
Trust funds make sense, and various cast members have hinted at it from time to time.
Since we don't know for sure if the trust funds even exist, we don't know how they work -- if the parents could access them at all, how easily it would be to access them, things like that.
Keep all that in mind as we go over one of Jenelle's recent TikTok videos, all right?
Earlier this week, she posted a video she'd made back in high school -- the whole thing is just her lip syncing "Tik Tok" by her idol, Kesha.
But she didn't share the actual video, she played the video on YouTube on her computer and filmed that.
Observant fans noticed that YouTube wasn't the only tab she had open in her browser -- she also had Google open because she was searching for something.
What was she looking up?
You can't see the whole phrase she was searching, but you can see the last part -- "apply trust funds."
It's hard to imagine she was looking up information about trust funds for any good reason, so when fans were discussing this on Reddit, they obviously assumed the worst.
"Zero percent surprised," one person wrote. "Whatever is going on financially with them is going to be bad."
"Hopefully she doesn't put her kids in debt or take their money," another user said.
One person suggested that "Someone better cc this to MTV bc I'm sure there's some fraud coming through."
And one cautiously hopeful comment read "Maybe they were moving money from that account to their operating account to pay their bills."
Like we said, we don't even know for sure that the kids have trust funds, so we can't say with any kind of certainty that Jenelle is trying to access them.
But would you honestly be surprised if this was true?
On December 22, Peter Weber wrote on Instagram that he was excited to move to New York City with Kelley Flanagan.
On December 31, Peter Weber wrote on Instagram that he had split from Kelley Flanagan, prompting many within Bachelor Nation to wonder:
WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?!?
"Love is a funny thing," the former Bachelor lead wrote as a caption to a gorgeous photo of the pair on the final day of 2020, adding at the tiime:
"It can make you you feel on top of the world and it can make you feel a pain you wish didn't exist.
"I'm here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways.
"While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn't work out in the end."
Fair enough certainly.
Flanagan wasn't even Peter's first choice, as the reality star first proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss... then dumped her for Madison Prewett... and then ended that romance to eventually get together with Kelley.
The couple seemed very happy and, as noted above, were seemingly about to shack up together in The Big Apple.
So... where did things go wrong?
"Peter ultimately was the one who ended it with Kelley, but she 100 percent agreed that they needed time apart," an insider has told E! News.
"They had been fighting a lot, and the move was very stressful and put a lot of pressure on them."
Weber and Flanagan quarantined together early in the COVID-19 pandemic, but they believed it to be temporary back then; such an arrangement is very different than truly committing to a lifetime as roommates.
"They spent the holidays apart, and Peter is already back staying with his parents in L.A. for now," the E! source adds.
Are things really over forever?
You never know.
However, Peter's outspoken mother, Barbara, has both confirmed the break-up and made it sound pretty darn permanent.
“Love can be fickle and it is not for the timid,” she wrote online after her son broke the sad news.
“Those who have experienced it know this all too well. But it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.”
Barbara also shared a kind message to Flanagan, whom she has gushed over in the past.
“Our hearts ache for you two,” she wrote. “Kelley will always have a piece of our hearts and we wish her only the best. Mom and Dad.”
Flanagan previously received a stamp of glowing approval from Weber's polarizing mom, who called her “the daughter that I've always wanted.”
"While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn’t work out in the end," Weber continued in his Instagram post on December 31.
"Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for. Someone I have learned more from than she will ever understand.
"Someone I am so thankful came into my life and someone who I will always wish all of life’s greatest blessings on."
Flanagan is yet to comment on the split in public.
But Weber, at least, harbors no ill will toward his ex.
"These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion that shows you it was worth time you spent together," he concluded.
"Thank you Kelley."
IBM.TV posted a photo:
The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are TV shows with a clear goal that you don't need Bachelor spoilers to figure out:
Set up a man or woman with his or her soulmate.
Heck, nearly every season ends with a proposal, right? And yet, over time, almost no proposals end in actual marriage.
By the numbers, few couples from Bachelor Nation last months; let alone years; let alone an entire lifetime together.
Have there been exceptions to this rule?
Oh yeah, just look at Jason and Molly. Or Sean and Cat. Rachel and Bryan. Even Arie and Lauren ... or JoJo and Jordan.
Nevertheless, it's still an arduous, uphill battle.
See Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt, or Peter Weber and Hannah Ann, or Peter Weber and Madison for that matter.
Their engagements lasted ... days? Hours?
These are unique cases, and yet ... not. Heck, Peter and Kelley Flanagan broke up too now. Dude was 0-for-3 in 2020!
The fact is that it's hard out there for duos spawned by this franchise to make it work, as we saw again this weekend.
Some people are just meant to be friends.
We hope so. But we doubt it. Anyway ...
So looking back through the years, who is still living happily ever after after the final rose was handed out?
Take a look at notable duos from The Bachelor and Bachelorette and see whether they're still a romantic item now.
1. Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph
2. Peter Weber and Madison Prewett
3. Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt
4. Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen
5. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers
6. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo
Cheyenne Floyd has another piece of exciting news to share.
About two weeks after sharing with the world that she was pregnant with her second child, the Teen Mom OG star revealed something important about the baby-to-be:
Are you ready to learn whether Floyd and boyfriend Zach Davis will be welcoming a son or a daughter?
Are you certain? Okay, here we go, readers...
“I might still be in shock that I am having a boy. Happiness is an understatement to try to explain how we feel. My family and I are elated,” the 28-year old posted via Instagram on Friday, January 1.
Chyenne is already mother to a three-year old girl named Ryder, who she shares with ex-lover Cory Wharton.
“Ryder wanted a baby brother, and swears she knew this whole time. I know she’s going to be an amazing big sister," added Floyd to open 2021 on social media.
She wrote these words alongside clips from her and Davis' gender reveal party, concluding as follows:
"Mommy and daddy love you & can’t wait to meet you.
"The full video on YouTube!”
The full video features a whole bunch of peopel celebrating Floyd and Davis and their forthcoming boy.
As a result, giving the COVID-19 pandemic that isn't going away any time soon, the pregnant reality star noted that everyone in attendance “quarantined and was tested 3-4 times before attending our gender reveal to make sure we were being as safe as possible.”
That is good to know.
Safety first. Always.
Floyd, meanwhiile, teased their announcement a day before making it, writing on Instagram:
“2020 has been a hell of a year, one that we will not forget. It has been filled with so many ups and downs.
"I am ready to take on 2021 with new energy and a positive spirit. This year God blessed me in ways I could have never imagined. I’m honored to be a mommy for the second time!
"We are excited to share with you what we are having!"
Following weeks of rumors about the state of herr womb, Floyd shared her pregnancy news last month.
“We are extremely blessed and honored that this little one has chosen us as parents,” she wrote via Instagram on December 17.
“We prayed for this moment and wanted to hold on to it as long as we could. The past few months have been life changing in the best ways possible.
"Ryder is so excited to be a big sister again and is already super protective over my bump. She prays for the baby every night and kisses my belly every morning.
"Zach, you have been nothing but supportive and there every step of the way."
Teen Mom OG returns with brand new episodes on January 26.
Check out the trailer below for a look at what Floyd and her co-stars will be up to in the new year:
