Audrina Patridge Details Horrific Abuse Claims Against Corey Bohan

The Audrina Patridge-Corey Bohan divorce has quickly taken a turn for the very ugly.

Earlier today, we reported that the former Hills stars were splitting after nearly a year of marriage and nearly nine years of being together overall.

Audrina Patridge and Family

We weren't sure why.

We thought maybe becoming parents to a little girl naked Kirra last June had placed a strain on their marriage.

It turns out, however, that the reason is far more troubling and insidious.

On Monday, September 18, Patridge was granted a restraining order against Bohan for what a source describes to People Magazine as ongoing instances of “emotional abuse.”

More specifically and most troubling, there was an incident in mid-April, legal documents claim, during which Audrina says Corey shoved her while she was holding Kirra in her arms.

The couple was arguing about Bohan’s alleged infidelity when he proceeded to empty out her purse and punch himself in the head, threatening to do even more damage if she left him.

This was the second time in a few weeks, Patridge claims, that Bohan had talked of suicide.

She also references an incident on September 6, saying Bohan started calling her names and harassing her after she returned home.

Audrina Patridge, Daughter

"Grow some balls and pull the trigger and file for divorce,” Bohan supposedly yelled at her at the time, prompting Patridge to call the police and file a report.

Just over a week later, child protective services came to the residence to meet with her.

This past weekend, Bohan showed up for a panel discussion Patridge was taking part in… followed her on stage ... and demanded to know their daughter’s whereabouts.

"I was shaking at this point," Audrina says in her legal documents.

She asked for a restraining order the next day.

HOWEVER, Bohan allegedly showed up on September 19 and refused to leave Audrina's home.

He installed five video cameras around the premises to keep tabs on her and called her a "f-cking cunt."

Audrina Patridge, Husband, Daughter

"I am fearful of [Corey’s] temper because he cannot control his swearing and personal attacks on me, even when in the presence of our young daughter," writes Audrina.

The restraining order requires Bohan to remain at least 100 feet away from his estranged wife, his daughter and even his dog.

As for the divorce, Patridge is demanding primary physical and legal custody of 15-month-old Kirra.

She is asking a judge to shut Bohan down if he asks for spousal support.

And, finally, she wants an order specifically prohibiting Bohan from taking Kirra to his native land of Australia.

Talk about a terrible ending to what had appeared to have been a stable love story.

Patridge and Bohan had been together since 2008, remaining close even throughout filming of The Hills, an unusual development for couples that appear on reality television.

Alas, the relationship has ended on the most sour of notes.

For the sake of their young daughter, let's hope Audrina and Corey find a way to work this out as amicably as possible.

Audrina Patridge is taking the challenges of new motherhood in stride.

The former reality star, 31, welcomed her daughter Kirra Max with fiancé Corey Bohan in June, and she’s still getting used to post-pregnancy life — namely, breastfeeding.

But on Monday, Patridge’s sister Casey Patridge Loza managed to snap a sweet moment of the new mom nursing her baby girl.

“@caseyloza always capturing me in moments #momonthego,” she wrote, referring to her sister, who originally shared the photo of Patridge breastfeeding.

Patridge talked to PEOPLE exclusively about these special — not to mention, difficult — moments as a new mom.

“Breastfeeding was the most painful thing,” she said of nursing her 13-week-old little girl. “For me, it was more painful than the c-section!”

The lifestyle blogger said it took a while to look as serene as she did in the Instagram photo.

“The first two to three weeks were excruciating,” she said. “But I got through it!”

And she had a great helper by her side. “I slept on the couch for a week,” she said. “My grandma came and helped for a week. It was crazy!”

Despite the sleepless nights, Patridge said nothing beats her new role.

“Once I had Kirra, nothing else mattered,” Patridge said of her daughter, who is now sleeping six to seven hours a night. “I didn’t care about the dishes piling up or anything. I just let it go.”

Audrina Patridge Calls Motherhood the ‘Best Thing Ever’: ‘I’ve Spent Every Minute’ with My Daughter

Between delivery challenges, breastfeeding pain and sleepless nights, Audrina Patridge hasn’t sugarcoated how difficult motherhood can be.

But for the former reality star, parenthood came naturally — and every hurdle has been worth it for her daughter Kirra Max, now 12 weeks old.

“Every day I look at her and I can’t believe she’s mine. I can’t believe we made this,” Patridge, 31, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “And she’s changing every week. Now she’s smiling all the time and making ‘goo’s and ‘gah’s.

“She’s so cute. It melts my heart,” adds the former star of The Hills and current lifestyle blogger at AudrinaPatridge.com.

“I get teary-eyed because I’m so happy,” says Patridge of her first child, whose fiancé is Australian pro BMX dirt bike rider Corey Bohan.

“She’s like a little angel. It’s the best thing ever,” she adds. “She’s a really, really good baby. We’re lucky. I’ve spent every minute with her, I’m always with her. I think that helps a lot.”

Kirra may have just arrived, but the new mom is already excited about the prospect of growing her family.

“Definitely!” she tells PEOPLE of wanting more kids. “Hopefully a boy. If we get a girl it’s perfect. Two girls I would be excited, and [then] we’d probably try for a boy.”

But for now, Patridge is content focusing on her little girl, sharing, “I just want to go places and show her the world and watch her experience things for the first time. Like taking her to the beach and putting her toes in the sand. She’ll probably have an Australian accent!”

Speaking of her Aussie fiancé, Patridge makes it clear she lucked out in the daddy department with Bohan.

“I knew Corey was going to be a good dad because he’s good with his nieces and nephews and
mine too. That was a no-brainer,” she says. “He just looks at her with such love in his eyes. He’s such a good dad.”

The balance of duties in the new parents’ household has Mama on feeding patrol while Daddy handles diaper duty.

“He’ll wake up and change her diaper in the middle of the night or bounce her and let me sleep for an extra two to three hours,” Patridge says. “He was on diaper patrol the first four days. I didn’t change one diaper.”

Patridge shares with PEOPLE that the happy couple have a date set for their wedding after putting planning on hold.

“Now that [Kirra]’s born, we have a routine and a schedule and I know what she wants and what her cries mean,” she says.

“Now it’s crunch time,” Patridge adds. “It will be the end of this year. Kirra’s definitely going to be in the wedding. I want her to be involved somehow.”

Instagram Photo

Their upcoming marriage has new meaning for the couple, who have known each other for almost a decade now.

“It’s family. It’s connecting all the dots and bringing it all together,” she explains of their nuptials. “We both came to a decision where we’re like we’re giving this 100 percent now. No more being gone all the time. And we’re both ready for it.”

Forget the sleepless nights. For Audrina Patridge, the hardest adjustment to new motherhood was getting used to nursing.

“Breastfeeding was the most painful thing,” Patridge, whose daughter Kirra Max is now 12 weeks old, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “For me, it was more painful than the c-section!”

The Hills former cast member — who now runs a lifestyle blog, AudrinaPatridge.com — says she learned to “push through” the pain, and eventually survived intact.

“The first two to three weeks were excruciating,” says Patridge, 31. “But I got through it!”

“I slept on the couch for a week. My grandma came and helped for a week. It was crazy!” Patridge admits of some of the other difficulties she experienced in bringing a baby home for the first time.

But as any new mom would likely admit after coming out on the other side, the challenges are all worth it.

“Once I had Kirra, nothing else mattered,” Patridge says of her daughter, who is now sleeping six to seven hours a night. “I didn’t even care. I didn’t care about the dishes piling up or anything. I just let it go.”

Now that Kirra is on the verge of turning 3 months old, the new mom can focus on the happier moments with her daughter, whose father is Patridge’s fiancé Corey Bohan.

“She’s definitely a water baby,” says Patridge. “Corey can’t wait to take her surfing. And I just can’t wait to get our nails done and take her shopping, the little things.”

Instagram Photo

It certainly sounds like a good balance of hobbies is in the future for Kirra.

“She’ll be a tomboy with Corey and a full-on girly girl with me!” Patridge adds. “She’ll be a cute little tomboy who likes makeup.”

How Audrina Patridge Got Through Her ‘Scary’ C-Section with the Help of Train’s ‘Soul Sister’

TK
Audrina Patridge

No one ever said delivering a baby was easy, but Audrina Patridge had some musical accompaniment to make the process a little less stressful.

“I had the doctors turn up the music in the delivery room so I wouldn’t focus on what was happening,” Patridge tells PEOPLE exclusively in this week’s issue. “I was kind of scared and Corey just kept talking to me.”

The former star of The Hills delivered daughter Kirra Max by Cesarean section on June 24.

Fittingly, it was Train’s “Hey Soul Sister” that was playing when baby Kirra made her entrance.

“I was scared to have a c-section. She was breech. I tried everything to get her to flip. I went to acupuncture, I floated in the pool, I did front flips, I did handstands, I did everything you could imagine and nothing worked. I waited until the very end of my pregnancy” Patridge, 31, admits of the process. “[My fiancé] Corey [Bohan] kept talking to me. And it wasn’t bad at all!”

And once the former reality star locked eyes on her baby girl, “It was instant,” she says. “It was so natural.”

Now, Patridge — who has a lifestyle blog, AudrinaPatridge.com — is relishing in every moment of life with 11-week-old Kirra.

“Every day I look at her and I can’t believe she’s mine,” she says. “She’s so cute, it melts my heart.”

“Kirra is the happiest, most beautiful baby with a constant smile and lots of goo-ing and gaa-ing!” Patridge wrote on her blog in August. “She loves giving Corey and [me] the biggest smiles.”

Though the work is worth it, Patridge also got real about the hardships of first-time motherhood in those first few weeks.

“If I’m being completely honest, the first month of no sleep, C-section recovery, unpacking, and getting back into the swing of things was pretty grueling,” she admitted. “But, at the end of the day, all I had to do was take one look at Kirra and none of that mattered anymore.”

Audrina Patridge Introduces Fans to Daughter Kirra — See the Adorable Family Photo!

Audrina Patridge

Audrina Patridge previously revealed only her newborn daughter’s toes, but now she’s finally debuted baby Kirra‘s adorable face!

“Alright… It’s time! Everyone is asking to see baby Kirra, and I can’t hold back any longer! We are so beyond in love with her!!” Patridge, 31, wrote on her blog Wednesday along with four never-before-seen photos of 8-week-old Kirra.

“I never imagined I could love someone with all that I have, but my love for her grows each and every day. And since everyone has been so patient, I wanted to share a couple of pictures with you all,” the mother of one continued.

The former Hills stars and her fiancé Corey Bohan welcomed their first child on June 24.

“Kirra is the happiest, most beautiful baby with a constant smile and lots of goo-ing and gaa-ing! She loves giving Corey and I the biggest smiles, but I can’t wait until she giggles for the first time — right now she gives lots of expressions but no noise,” Patridge said. “She sleeps 6-7 hours a night (only waking up once or twice) and is pretty laid back (unless of course she’s hungry, has to burp, needs a diaper change, or gets restless!)”

Audrina Patridge

Audrina also opened up what’s it has been like for her post-pregnancy. “If I’m being completely honest, the first month of no sleep, C-Section recovery, unpacking, and getting back into the swing of things was pretty grueling,” she shared, adding, “But, at the end of the day, all I had to do was take one look at Kirra and none of that mattered anymore.”

And on her post-baby body, the reality star is getting back to her exercise routines. “I’m no longer experiencing pregnancy brain, a roller coaster of emotions, or a lack of energy — In fact, I am officially back on my Pilates grind! But let me tell you, my core does NOT work out the way it used to… but I will get there!” she concluded.

The Hills are alive with the sound of baby cries!

Audrina Patridge gave birth to her first child, a girl, on Friday, June 24, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Daughter Kirra Max Bohan was born in the morning, weighing 8 lbs., 4 oz.

She’s perfectly healthy and Mom is doing great,” her rep tells PEOPLE.

Patridge, 31, and her fiancé Corey Bohan, who were engaged in November, announced their baby news in December — then Patridge revealed on her blog in March that they were expecting a daughter.

“Corey and I can’t wait to meet our baby girl, and we can’t thank you enough for your support. It truly means the world!” she said at the time.

Patridge was also the guest of honor at a beautiful baby shower in May, thrown by her Aunt Connie in La Mirada, California, and attended by close friends and family.

“My family made me feel like a queen and my baby girl is going to be decked out in the cutest clothes ever — she even got a mermaid outfit,” Patridge told PEOPLE exclusively of the day.

Of becoming a first-time mom, Patridge told Fit Pregnancy and Baby for its July issue that she’s “so ready.”

“I want her to help the world be a better place — and to not make some of the same mistakes I did,” she admitted.

Audrina Patridge on Her Birth Plan: I’m Going to the Doctor the ‘Moment I Feel My First Contraction’

Audrina Patridge is gearing up to become a first-time mom.

But the former star of The Hills has had a lot on her plate aside from getting ready to bring a baby girl into the world. On top of recently hosting the travel show 1st Look and keeping a lifestyle blog, she’s planning a wedding to tie the knot with BMX-pro fiancé Corey Bohan.

And in the July issue of Fit Pregnancy and Baby, Patridge — who says the best part of pregnancy so far is “feeling her kick!” — dishes on how that latter life-milestone event has been affected by her daughter on the way.

“It’s a little overwhelming,” says the mom-to-be, 31, of wedding planning. “After I have the baby, I have no idea what size my breasts will be or if my hips will go down or get bigger. So for now dress shopping, at least, is on hold.”

Holding off on getting married until after her first child is born is the ideal situation for Patridge and Bohan, though, who wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I didn’t want to rush getting married because stress is bad for the baby,” Patridge admits, adding that Bohan was extremely supportive of her decision.

“Corey said, ‘Stop caring what people think. Their opinions don’t matter,’ ” she continues, noting that since she’s having an intimate wedding, none of her former The Hills cast mates are invited. “Anyway, we’ve already been together for so long, it’s like we’re already married. It’s just a title at this point — and a ring.”

Luckily for Patridge, she hasn’t really experienced any morning sickness, only some fatigue early on — and as a bonus, she actually feels amazing being pregnant, both physically and mentally.

“There were three or four days during my first trimester when I could not get out of bed and all I wanted to do was sleep,” she confesses. “But overall, I’m feeling good!”

She adds, “Watching my body transform has been amazing. I feel like a woman now.”

The soon-to-be mama is already very protective of her daughter, as well. When asked whether she would ever let her star in a reality show, Patridge answers simply, “Not until she’s 18.

“I’m already super-protective of [the baby],” she adds. “This guy at the airport asked if he could take a picture with me and put his hand right on my stomach. I was like, ‘Please, don’t touch!’ ”

Although final wedding details are on hold and the nursery is still in progress — Patridge is creating a vintage mermaid-themed sleep space for her daughter — there is one thing the mom-to-be can officially cross off her to-do list.

“I’m definitely delivering in a hospital,” she says. “I’ve had friends who’ve gone without drugs and they’ve said it’s super painful but they’d never do it any other way. Meanwhile, my sister Casey, who has two kids, had an epidural both times and she made childbirth look easy. I’m not sure which route I want to take yet. Either way, I’m a little scared.”

Adds Patridge, “All I know is, the moment I feel my first contraction, I’m going to the doctor. I want to be in the hospital bed, relaxing, with my lavender-oil diffuser set up.”

The 1st Look host and fiancé Corey Bohan are expecting their first child, she announced Friday on social media.

“I finally figured out what to get Corey for Christmas!” she captioned a sponsored photo of herself posing with her Clearblue Confirmed pregnancy test.

“I have some AMAZING news to share with you all! It has been incredibly difficult keeping my mouth shut on this one because all I’ve wanted to do is shout it from the rooftops! But, now that my doctor has given me the OK, it is safe to announce that I’m PREGGERS!!! You guys don’t even understand how hard this was to keep a secret, but my family and close friends did a good job of hiding the news, which made it a little bit easier.”

“It started with me not feeling too well — I didn’t feel sick, but I definitely knew something was off between my mood swings and lack of energy. So, I took the test and TA-DA! I couldn’t even believe my eyes. I called Corey upstairs to make sure I wasn’t just seeing things and, well, let’s just say that he had a permanent smile glued to his face for the rest of the night!”

Patridge, 30, continued, “The difficult thing was that we were going to a dinner party, and I knew I had to keep it a secret, so I told everyone I was on a detox cleanse to cover my lack of alcohol consumption. With the combination of my poor lying skills and Corey’s perma-smile, we were given ‘the look’ over and over again by our friends and family, so it’s safe to say the secret was not a secret much longer!”

She adds, “So far, I haven’t had any morning sickness, I just feel very tired and like I have a major hangover when I wake up, which is a change for me because I’m constantly on-the-go! As far as finding out the sex of the baby… We just want it to be healthy. Girl or boy, we will be ecstatic either way! Corey’s mum wants it to be a surprise, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait! I guess we will just have to wait and see. God has a plan for us, and even though it is all happening so fast, I am confident that I’m ready to be a mama!”

Patridge and professional BMX dirt bike rider Bohan, 33, were engaged last month after seven years of dating off and on.

“Corey dropped to his knee and said, ‘We have been together for many years now and I love you more than anything. I want to spend the rest of my life with you – will you marry me?'” the former Hills star told PEOPLE exclusively in November. “I was in shock and kind of didn’t even hear him but I said yes!”
