Madelaine Petsch Red Head Goddess on the Red Carpet

Madelaine Petsch, best known as Cheryl Blossom on Riverdale, or as I like to call her Cherry Blossom, attended the Vanity Fair Oscars Party last night with her Riverdale Co-Star Lili Reinhart.

The 25 year old actress looked amazing with her long natural red hair against her creamy skin, finally a red head who doesn’t look like she’s been kept in a dungeon away from the sun her entire life. This could have something to do with the fact that she was partially raised in South Africa and with her parents being South African maybe it’s some sort of other red head gene we’ve been missing out on.

Anyway Cherry Blossom showed up on the red carpet in a low cut black lace trimmed gown looking stunning, much better than she’s ever looked on Riverdale and thats saying a lot because she is always the hottest character.

Bella Thorne Got her Tan on for the Oscars After Party

Bella Thorne showed up to the Elton John AIDS Foundation party with her tan on and her newly died blue hair. She pushed her cleavage up in a tight silk dress and did her own makeup for the big night.

The star prepared for the big night by getting her tan on, she took to her social media to share her tan with her fans in a tight pair of white exercise shorts and a sports bra and mentioned that she wishes she looked more Cuban. She said she has darkened her hair and her skin so she can appear more Latin looking.

Bella’s father, who died in a car accident in 2007 was Cuban and I guess Bella is realizing that white girls aren’t IT in 2020, it’s all about the ethnic chicks and she is hopping on the bandwagon.

Suki Waterhouse See Though for the Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Suki Waterhouse is an english model and actress who is probably best known for dating Bradley Cooper before he got Irina Shayk knocked up a few years ago. But anyway she is a legit actress having starred in “The Divergent Series: Insurgent” which I will admit I’ve never I’ve never seen but was a big like nerd movie when it came out.

So Suki was invited to the Oscars after party held by Vanity Fair where she wore a sexy see through dress that looks less like an oscar party gown and more like one of those dresses you order from china and when it gets here it looks nothing like the photo, but she looks hot. So here she is.

Sydney Sweeney Stunning Cleavage for The Oscars After Party

Sydney Sweeney has been killing it in Hollywood this year, she’s a hit on the HBO show Euphoria about a bunch of teens getting messed up at parties, dealing with abusive boyfriends and leaked nudes. I think of the Sydney Sweeney nudes every time I see her name so the show has done a great job at getting us to remember her name.

Sweeney also starred in the Oscar nominated movie Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood. She played the role of Snake, a member of the Manson Family who lives with the rest of Manson’s gang at Spahn Ranch.

So she showed up to the Oscars with her perfect cleavage resting in her tight fitted gown looking truly phenomenal.

How About those Golden Globes?

I don’t believe in award shows for those who have already won at life. I find the whole thing pretentious and dated. Designed for the advertisers and to generate hype around the industry with some star studded event that these people think is prestigious and that they use as a platform to get their stupid unrelated messages out there. Like twitter in a tux and evening gown with more ego massaging.

They did happen and since we love movies and TV, this is the list of winners – assuming you haven’t seen them yet because like I said, the whole thing is pretty dumb.

I haven’t seen everything listed, so I probably shouldn’t give much analysis, but I will say that I am glad Marriage Story didn’t win much because it was garbage, I would have rather seen Joey King win than Michelle Williams, despite not seeing the Michelle Williams movie, I can tell that I will hate it. I am glad Brad Pitt won, he was great in OUTIH even if I don’t think OUTIH was that good, I am glad it beat out Marriage Story in best script. 1917 must be good, or Sam Mendes is sucking some Foreign Press dick. Get FLEABAG out of here, Kirsten Dunst or Christina Applegate should have won that category….thank GOD Scarlett Overrated Johansson lost and was happy to see Succession do well, even though it is a Will Ferrell project and he is embarassing…and Renee Zelwegger is still weird but brought a panty flash and FUCK yes to Patricia Arquette’s award and her tits…

Not to mention Selma Hayek’s tits…the real GOLDEN GLOBES of the night…and yes…I know GOLDEN GLOBES referring to BREASTS is about 77 year old joke. Deal with it.

Angela Bassett Reacts After Being Misidentified as Omarosa Manigault in New York Times Caption

Angela Bassett has responded after she was misidentified in The New York Times as Omarosa Manigault-Newman.

On Tuesday morning, the newspaper published a photo of Rachel Brosnahan receiving her award for lead actress in a comedy series at the Emmy Award’s on Monday evening. The award was presented by Tiffany Haddish and Bassett, who were also both featured in the shot.

The only problem? In the NYT caption, Bassett, 60, was wrongly identified as former White House aide Manigault-Newman, 44.

To make matters worse, the Apprentice-contestant-turned-Trump-aide wasn’t even present at Monday night’s ceremony.

The outlet quickly addressed the mistake in a tweet on Tuesday, claiming the error was due to a “photo wire service in some early print editions.” They also noted that a correction would be issued in Wednesday’s paper.

However, some Twitter users were already fired up about the mistake.

“Do all dark skinned black women look the same to your editors??” wrote Joy Villa. “Gorgeous and talented Queen Angela Bassett looks nothing like that other one.”

Another user referred to the NYT’s error as “pathetic and disgusting” and compared it to mistaking George Clooney for U.S. Senator of Florida Marco Rubio at the Academy Awards.

“…you know, bc Marc Rubio is at the Academy Awards every year,” the user wrote. “….& bc all white ppl look alike too.”

Despite the backlash, there was one person who didn’t seem to be bothered by the mix-up: Bassett herself!

Acknowledging all of the angry tweets, the 9-1-1 actress addressed her supporters on Twitter with a simple two-word mantra.

“Hey Everybody, no worries!” she wrote, alongside a meme of Kerry Washington in Scandal that reads “It’s handled.”

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

Bassett has previously spoken out about racism, admitting to PEOPLE that her 12-year-old twins Bronwyn and Slater have already experienced race-related prejudices from their peers.

“Even from the age of four, from preschool, they’ve had to deal with — and as crazy as it seems or sounds — color issues,” she told PEOPLE’s Editor-in-Chief Jess Cagle in an episode of The Jess Cagle Interview. “Or because they were African Americans, and whether other kids will play with them or have issue with that.”

Added the 9-1-1 actress: “It can’t come from their young minds,” she said of her belief that kids aren’t born racist. “It’s something that they’ve heard somewhere.”

But while it seems Bassett has no problem brushing off an accidental mix-up nowadays, she hopes that her kids won’t have to endure the same type of experience one day.

“It makes you gasp and it just squeezes your heart sometimes, because you never want your kids to go through these sort of pain issues,” she said. “Or you thought it’d be much later, once they get a firm footing of who they are.”

9-1-1‘s season 2 two-night premiere airs Sunday, Sept. 23 and Monday, Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.

Mrs. Maisel ‘Shut Down’ After Rachel Brosnahan’s Aunt Kate Spade Died, Alex Borstein Says

When Kate Spade died in June, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel team made sure that the series’ star Rachel Brosnahan — the designer’s niece — had time to grieve.

At the Amazon Prime Video Post Emmy Awards Party, Alex Borstein, Brosnahan’s costar, opened up to PEOPLE exclusively about the challenging days following Spade’s death.

“We kind of shut down production for a little bit so she could go and be with her family,” Borstein, 47, said.

She added, “We all reached out to her in different ways.”

Spade died by suicide at age 55. In June, Brosnahan, 27, paid tribute to her aunt by sharing a video of Spade dancing with husband Andy Spade in front of a mariachi band.

“Knowing Katy, this is how she would want to be remembered,” Brosnahan wrote. “She had a light that words can’t capture but touched everyone she came into contact with. She was exceedingly kind, beautifully sensitive, insanely talented, funny as heck and one of the most generous people I have ever known. She was effervescent.”

Brosnahan concluded, “Hug your loved ones extra tight today.”

Borstein, who took home the Emmy for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy, also praised Brosnahan, who won her own trophy on Monday night for outstanding lead actress in a comedy.

“She’s amazing,” Borstein told PEOPLE. “She’s generous, she’s lovely, she’s thoughtful and she’s an extremely hard worker. Everyone on the show, there’s no whiners, and there’s no one that shows up unprepared. Everyone is just a pro from the get-go, so it’s really nice, really rare.”

On Monday, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel nabbed the award for outstanding comedy series in addition to outstanding directing and outstanding writing wins for creator Amy Sherman-Palladino.

Borstein said of the cast, “I think we all genuinely actually like each other.”

Merritt Wever Celebrates Her Second Emmy with Amazingly Brief Speech: ‘It’s Bombing Already’

Merritt Wever has a brand new trophy to add to her growing collection: The Godless star nabbed the 2018 Emmy Award for outstanding supporting actress in a limited series or movie on Monday night.

“I hope you don’t mistake my fear for a lack of gratitude,” she nervously said as she clutched her Emmy trophy in one hand and struggled to open the piece of paper in the other.

“I came prepared and it’s bombing already,” Wever, 38, jokingly added. “I wanted to be a grown-up about this.”

The actress was lauded for her role in Netflix’s Western. She fended off competition from fellow nominees Penélope Cruz (The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story), Adina Porter (American Horror Story: Cult), Letitia Wright , Sara Bareilles (Jesus Christ Superstar Live In Concert) and Judith Light (The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story).

Check out all of PEOPLE’s 2018 Emmys coverage here.

This marks Wever’s second win and third nomination. She took home the Emmy for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series in 2013 for her work on Nurse Jackie, for which she also scored a nomination in 2012.

In 2013, Wever’s 11-word acceptance speech went viral for her. Neil Patrick Harris said that she had delivered the “best speech ever” after she gave hilariously short remarks: “Thanks so much. Thank you so much. I gotta go. Bye.”

RELATED VIDEO: The 2018 Emmy Nominations Have Been Announced! Which TV Shows and Stars Wowed the Industry?

Wever opened up to Deadline in June about playing Mary Agnes on Godless.

“In some ways, I wonder if there’s a version of Mary Agnes that is a lot tougher, I think, than I played her,” Wever said. “I sometimes wonder if I did her a disservice, or if there’s another version of her out there that was tougher. I think she’s complicated and full of contradictions, too. I think she’s not as tough as she wants to be or pretends to be on the surface.”

The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Michael Che and Colin Jost, are airing live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on NBC.

Milo Ventimiglia Says Will Smith Inspired Him to Treat ‘Everybody with Kindness and Respect’

Milo Ventimiglia learned an important lesson from his guest spot on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Ahead of the 2018 Emmy Awards, the This is Us star — who’s nominated for outstanding lead actor in a drama series — opened up about one of his first roles: a 1995 guest spot on the classic NBC sitcom.

“I was a kid with one line on his show, but what I did was watch and what I saw him doing was treating everybody with kindness and respect,” Ventimiglia, 41, told Giuliana Rancic during the E! Live from the Red Carpet pre-show.

“At 18, I watched one of the biggest TV and movie stars be nice to people,” he continued, adding that even at a young age, “I thought, ‘I want to be like him. I want to be like Will Smith.’ ”

Check out all of PEOPLE’s 2018 Emmys coverage here

The actor also shared that much like the patriarch Jack Pearson, whom he plays on This Is Us, Ventimiglia really tries “to be an agent of love and kindness and goodness.”

“It’s good to be part of a show that inspires men to be good and other families to come together,’ he added, later saying that his personal motto is “live with love.”

RELATED VIDEO: Why Milo Ventimiglia Says His ‘Foul Mouth’ Gets Him Into Trouble On Set

Last month, while opening up to PEOPLE about the best thing he’s ever taken from set, Ventimiglia proved he has another similarity to Pearson: He’s very sentimental.

“The best thing I’ve ever taken from a set is friends,” he said during an interview with PEOPLE Editor-in-Chief Jess Cagle, for The Jess Cagle Interview.

“For me, it’s not about an object or anything,” he explained.” For me, it’s about looking at someone that I’ve now worked with for a year or a month or something and saying to them, ‘I’m gonna know you the rest of my life.’ That’s probably the best thing you can take from a set.”

The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Michael Che and Colin Jost, will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Monday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Rihanna Skips the MTV VMAs to Twirl Up a Storm in Whimsical Gold Dress in Havana

Rihanna is gone with the wind fabulous!

The 30-year-old “Work” singer was absent from this year’s 2018 MTV Video Music Awards because, in true Rihanna style, she was busy living her best life.

Instead of hitting the red carpet, the star hit a town square in Havana, Cuba, Monday treating it as a stage as she twirled around to Childish Gambino’s “Summertime Magic.”

In a video posted to her social media, Rihanna beamed as she jumped and spun around in a loose-fitting gold dress paired with sneakers and a sun straw hat.

“Do-ya-luh-me-too-?” Rihanna captioned the Instagram quoting Gambino’s lyrics.

Last week, the Ocean’s 8 actress was spotted in Cuba with Gambino, 34, whose real name is Donald Glover. The two are reportedly filming Guava Island directed by Hiro Murai, according to W Magazine.

It’s no secret that Rihanna has been enjoying her summer. In addition to dancing the day away in Cuba, the singer recently enjoyed a trip to the beach for her hairstylist Yusef Williams’ birthday.

For the outing, Rihanna wore a bright red bikini top paired with high-cut bottoms, showing off her toned stomach.

This past weekend, Rihanna jetted off to another tropical destination, her hometown of Barbados for her childhood friend Sonita Alexander’s wedding.

For the big day, Rihanna served as Alexander’s bridesmaid and wore a cobalt blue dress with ruffled sleeves.

When she’s not enjoying herself on vacation, Rihanna is gearing up for her fourth annual Diamond Ball.

Last week, Rihanna revealed Insecure’s Issa Rae will host and Gambino will perform.

“Issa Rae and Childish Gambino were the dream duo for the fourth Annual Diamond Ball and they’re coming!! We are honored and grateful to have them help us celebrate the Clara Lionel Foundation this year,” Rihanna said in a statement.

Aretha Franklin Honored by Madonna at the MTV VMAs — but Twitter Isn’t Impressed by Her Tribute

The Queen of Soul got a send-off at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.

Aretha Franklin, who died Thursday of pancreatic cancer at 76, received a brief tribute during Monday’s show.

The network aired Franklin’s Oct. 9, 1970, performance of Dionne Warwick’s “I Say A Little Prayer,” which she covered for her album Aretha Now. MTV also played Franklin’s 1967’s “Respect” for the ending credits.

Before giving Video of the Year to Camila Cabello, Madonna delivered a speech in which she outlined the role Franklin had played in launching her own career.

“Aretha Louise Franklin changed the course of my life. I left Detroit when I was 18. 35 dollars in my pocket. My dream was to make it as a professional dancer. After years of struggling and being broke, I decided to go to auditions for musical theater,” she said.

Further discussing her past experience, Madonna recalled her early years as a struggling artist.

“I had no training or dreams of ever becoming a singer but I went for it. I got cut and rejected from every audition — not tall enough, not blend-in enough, not 12-octave range enough, not pretty enough. Not enough,” she said. “And then one day a French disco sensation was looking for backup singers and dancers for his world tour. I thought, ‘Why not? The worst that can happen is I can go back to getting robbed, held at gunpoint and being mistaken for a prostitute in my third floor walkup that was also a crackhouse.’ That’s right, I’m a Rebel Heart.”

“So I showed up for the audition and two very large French record producers sat in the empty theater, daring me to be amazing. The dance audition went well. Then they asked me if I had sheet music and a song prepared. I panicked. I had overlooked this important part of the audition process,” she said. “I had to think fast, my next meal was on the line. Fortunately one of my favorite albums was Lady Soul by Aretha Franklin. I blurted out ‘You Make Me Feel’… silence. ‘You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman.’ Two French guys nodded at me. I said, ‘You know, by Aretha Franklin.'”

She continued: “They looked over at the pianist, he shook his head. ‘I don’t need sheet music,’ I said, ‘I know every word. I know the song by heart, I will sing it a cappella.’ I could see that they did not take me seriously — and why should they? Some skinny ass white girl is going to come up here and belt out a song by one of the greatest soul singers that ever lived? And a cappella … I said, ‘Bitch, I’m Madonna.’ No, I didn’t, I didn’t say that. ‘Cause I wasn’t Madonna yet. I don’t know who I was. I don’t know what I said, I don’t know what came over me.”

After sharing the beginning of her journey as a singer, Madonna concluded: “So you’re probably all wondering why I’m telling you this story. There’s a connection, because none of this would’ve happened — could’ve happened — without our lady of soul. She led me to where I am today and I know she influenced so many people in this house tonight, in this room tonight, and I want to thank you, Aretha, for empowering all of us. R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Long live the queen.”

Twitter had many opinions on Madonna’s speech with many mentioning Travis Scott, who was the first person to say a tribute to Franklin. “Rest in peace to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin,” he said in the midst of his performance.

In the days leading up to the big event, VMA’s executive producer Jesse Ignatovic revealed in an interview with Variety that the tribute set was their “big focus,” although he admitted that it was “a scramble” to put together at such late notice.

“We have to make sure whatever we do is true to her art,” he said. “We don’t want to do anything too kooky, it’s got to be organic.”

Since the legend’s death last week, there have been a flood of tributes from her fellow musicians and other pop culture luminaries. Ariana Grande shared her love for Franklin on social media, and later delivered a tearful version of “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Soul greats like Cissy Houston, Gladys Knight, and her old Detroit friend Smokey Robinson have made public remembrances, as did former President Obama — who invited Franklin to sing at his inauguration in 2009.
