Sharing a sweet moment with one of Jason’s daughters from his previous marriage, Brittany let Kendyl, 10, be the one to reveal her new sibling’s name.

“It’s Brit and Kendyl here,” Brittany said in the video, “and we are so excited for…”

Choosing an extra sweet way to reveal the sex of their child in August, the county star shared a video of his daughters Kendyl and Keeley, 15, swinging at balls that released a pink dust once hist.

“Jason and I already know what it is, so this is just for the girls, to see their excitement,” explained Brittany.

“After having our son, we knew we wanted to have two kids,” said Jason. “I have my two older daughters already, so after Memphis was born we knew we wanted to have another one pretty quick — to go ahead and knock it out and have one that was a little closer in age to him.”

Brett Young Marries Longtime Love Taylor Mills in Stunning California Wedding — All the Details

In case you didn’t know … Brett Young is officially a married man!

The country star, 37, wed longtime love Taylor Mills, 31, on Saturday in Palm Springs, California in front of more than 200 of their closest friends and family, PEOPLE confirms exclusively.

“Being able to be best friends with a person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with is the most important thing,” says the “Mercy” singer about his bride, whom he met more than 10 years ago in Arizona. “She has a very pure, kind heart.”

The newlyweds chose not to have a first look (“I wanted the first time I saw her to be when she walked down the aisle,” says Young) and exchanged personalized vows during an emotional ceremony that was officiated by Young’s father Brad, a pastor, and Van Hazelitt, Young’s manager and groomsman.

Mills stunned in a custom wedding gown created by Justin Alexander, featuring long sleeves and a low back. “It just really embodies me,” she says about her bridal look, which was perfected with soft waves and natural makeup by 10.11 Makeup Artistry. Young looked dapper in a custom tux by J. Hilburn.

Afterwards, the couple — who shared their first dance to a special rendition of “Forever Young” produced by Young’s longtime producer Dann Huff — celebrated their new union by partying at a rollicking reception with their guests.

Young’s friend and fellow country singer Lee Brice hit the stage to sing “I Don't Dance” before a six-piece band took over; while his “idol” Gavin DeGraw also sang love song “More Than Anyone” at the féte (planned by Elite Events).

“We chose people in terms of performers that are really important to us and are close friends,” says Mills. Adds Young: “If everybody in the country music family could’ve been there, we would’ve asked them all to sing!”

Mirrored tables at the reception were marked with cities (including Los Angeles, Nashville, Scottsdale and more) that are meaningful to the couple and decorated by tall floral bridges by Butterfly Floral & Event Design.

Along with steak, chicken and Southern fare, the Youngs also served two wedding cakes by Exquisite Desserts, including a vanilla cake with banana-cream filling and another vanilla creation with strawberry filling.

Next up, the couple are jetting off to a beachy honeymoon and looking forward to starting a family sooner than later.

“We’ve been together for a long time and we do want kids soon,” says Young, who is heading out on tour next year with Kelsea Ballerini after his sophomore album, Ticket to L.A., drops on Dec. 7. “This is the beginning of our life together, and I’m excited to say husband and wife!”

Chris Stapleton Announces Wife Morgane Is Pregnant Just 7 Months After Delivering Twins

Baby makes five for Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane!

Just seven months after the couple welcomed twin boys, the father of four announced that he and his wife are expecting their fifth child during his concert on Friday night at Madison Square Garden.

“Some of you may know that we have four children,” the musician said, according to a video published by The Blast. “We just had twins, about seven months ago. Now there’s four for us, but we’re gonna make it five!”

A rep for Stapleton had no comment on the news.

On Saturday, Stapleton — who is nominated five times at the CMA Awards on Nov. 14 — posted a series of photos from the concert on Instagram but did not address his special announcement.

Chris and Morgane, who wed in 2007, are already parents to three sons and one daughter but have chosen not to publicly reveal their names.

This isn’t the first time that Chris has announced his baby news during a concert. Last year, the country singer shared that his wife was expecting twins during a performance in Dallas at Starplex Pavillion.

“She’s the mother of my two kids, and she’s about to be the mother of two more,” he said.

Morgane also shared the news of their little ones on the way in an Instagram post marking the spouses’ tenth wedding anniversary.

“14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way. Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round,” the expectant mother captioned a black-and-white portrait of the couple.

After the boys were born in April, Chris gave Reba McEntire the honors of announcing their arrival when he won album of the year at the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards, which he was unable to attend.

“Those little rascals came a little bit early,” McEntire said, adding that Stapleton and his wife were home in Nashville with their new babies. “Hot off the press! … Twin boys.”

Chris later wrote on Instagram, “Thank you for sharing our good news @Reba! We couldn’t have dreamed up a better day. Morgane & the boys are doing great & we appreciate everyone’s support!”

A day after the public announcement, Morgane shared a sweet black-and-white photo to Instagram of her newest additions, who arrived more than a month early, and thanked the hospital staff for taking care of their boys.

“Thank you for all the love! We’re so grateful to finally be home with our sweet family. We would like to say a special thank you to all the incredible nurses & doctors at Centennial Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Nashville,” she wrote.

“At more than a month early, we had a week-long stay in the NICU & the incredible people there kept our boys healthy & happy,” she continued. “Words cannot express our gratitude for you all & what you did for our family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!”

Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd Celebrate Birthday at Sesame Street: ‘Just Gonna Stay a Kid Forever’

Ryan Hurd had a birthday to remember — thanks to wife Maren Morris!

The sweet birthday celebration comes after the couple released “To a T,” which features Morris on backing harmonies.

“Our label really wanted us to do a duet so she would be more featured in the track. I don’t think either of us were really pumped on that being that kind of moment, but we sing together all the time live and we’ve written together,” Hurd told Cowboys & Indians magazine in September.

“Maren was the first one to love this song. She showed it to our manager, and she was the one who got everybody behind it. She’s obviously my muse when it comes to creating music and writing lyrics, so having her on a track like this, a love song, just felt really natural,” he said.

Luke Bryan’s Mother Makes an Emotional Return to Her Florida Home Destroyed in Hurricane Michael

Luke Bryan’s mother is among the thousands of Floridians left devastated by Hurricane Michael — the Category 4 storm that hit the Florida panhandle on Oct. 10.

Nine days after the storm wreaked havoc along the coast, the 42-year-old country crooner’s mother LeClaire returned with friends to salvage what she could from her home in the hard-hit Mexico Beach area.

Little of the building withstood the winds of the hurricane and as LeClaire, taking photos, overlooked her debris-covered yard and other obliterated homes the mother of the “Most People Are Good” singer became too overwhelmed, breaking down in tears.

Leaning against the back of a gator vehicle, LeClaire was consoled by Florida resident James Whiddon.

The music legend’s mom later invited a photographer inside her home as she tried to find any of her possessions which had survived Michael’s fury.

To her dismay, most of her home was completely wiped out, despite her attempt to protect it by boarding her windows with plywood.

Paintings and artwork were stripped from the walls, cabinets were left flung open and piles of damaged furniture crowded the hallways making it nearly impossible to walk through.

As LeClaire sifted through what was left she made a heartbreaking discovery. On the floor, laid a shattered frame of her son’s 2009 hit “Rain is a Good Thing”— Luke’s first number one hit on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

On the day Hurricane Michael hit land, Luke asked his followers on Twitter to keep his family and the residents of Florida in their prayers.

“Hey everyone. Pray for my people. So many dear people I know are being affected. My mother and so many friends live in Mexico beach. And not it’s bearing down on Albany and Leesburg.”

Luke did not respond to PEOPLE’s request to comment further.

Mexico Beach Mayor Al Cathey told ABC News that 289 people — including 10 children — decided to remain in the city despite evacuation orders as the state prepared for the devastating storm. Both Cathey and a city clerk told the site that 46 of those who remained were still missing on Oct 14.

“If we lose only one life, to me that’s going to be a miracle,” Cathey told the Associated Press, noting that he was hopeful about the fates of the missing.

The city was “wiped out” after the storm made landfall packing 155 mph winds.

Following the storm, at least 18 people were confirmed dead, including three in North Carolina, eight in Florida, six in Virginia and one in Georgia, according to the Weather Channel. Among the 18, one confirmed death has been reported in Mexico Beach, according to ABC.

The death toll has now risen to 36, according to the Weather Channel as of this past weekend.

Carrie Underwood Is ‘Officially a Soccer Mom’ — and She’s Celebrating with a Smiley Selfie!

Country superstar Carrie Underwood had a whole new gig on Saturday: soccer mom.

The 35-year-old singer shared a smiley Instagram selfie, which she snapped from the field where she was cheering on 3½-year-old son Isaiah Michael’s game.

“Officially a soccer mom this morning!” she captioned the photo, adding that she was “staying warm” from the “chilly” temperatures by wearing clothing from her own fitness line, CALIA by Carrie.

As for the game itself, Isaiah played well — even if he wasn’t always focused on winning.

“The kids played a good game!” Underwood explained. “Isaiah scored two goals for his team…and one for the other team 🤷‍♀️. Hey, a goal’s a goal! ⚽

Underwood will be spending even more time with Isaiah over the next few months. She’s currently pregnant with her second child with husband Mike Fisher, 38, and has postponed her Cry Pretty Tour until May, after she’s scheduled to give birth.

She and Fisher recently celebrated eight years of marriage. The musician and former Nashville Predators star said “I do” in July 2010 at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia — and announced they were pregnant with baby No. 2 back in August.

While accepting her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in September, Underwood sent love to both Fisher and Isaiah.

“I met an incredible man, Mike, who thinks I’m so much better than I actually am. Thank you for believing in me as a human, as a wife, as a mom, and supporting me through all of this,” Underwood said. “He believes in me and we had another little man who believes in me too. Isaiah Michael, I love you so much. You’re the best thing we ever did. I love you and I believe you,” she said, facing her husband and son.

It’s been a busy year for Underwood. In addition to getting her Hollywood star, Underwood released her latest album, Cry Pretty, in September. She’s scheduled to host the CMA Awards alongside Brad Paisley for her 11th time in November.

Last November, a few days after hosting the CMA Awards, Underwood tripped on the steps outside of her Nashville home while taking her dogs out and suffered “multiple injuries.” The accident left the singer needing over 40 stitches in her face and surgery on her broken wrist.

After the fall, Underwood stayed out of the spotlight to recover from her injuries, before making a comeback in April at the ACM Awards, where she received a standing ovation from the crowd for her performance. Since then, she’s proudly displayed her battle scars, telling Redbook that the accident has helped her learn a valuable lesson that she believes young women struggling with body confidence could relate to.

“The first thing I would tell them is that we’re all insecure; that’s just called being human,” she told the magazine. “I feel like the most important thing to realize is that even people who seem to be superconfident have insecurities that they are dealing with.”

She added, “Honestly, you just do the best you can. Don’t worry about things you can’t change.”

Meanwhile, back in April, the American Idol season 4 winner dished to PEOPLE about striking the balance between work and family life, saying the couple’s “whole life has changed” since welcoming Isaiah.

“I remember when we first found out we were gonna have him it like, ‘How are we gonna do this? Our lives are so crazy as it is,’ ” said Underwood at the time.

“But you just make room and you learn how important that family time is, and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise — that stuff is so important to, like I said, make time for family,” she added. “That’s what it’s all about.”

Pregnant Carrie Underwood Reveals She Suffered 3 Miscarriages in Last 2 Years: ‘I Got Mad’

Carrie Underwood has revealed that she suffered from three miscarriages in the last two years.

Underwood — who shares Isaiah, 3, with hockey player husband Mike Fisher, 38, and has a baby on the way — opened up about her challenging fertility struggles in an interview on CBS Sunday Morning, saying she experienced the first miscarriage in 2017.

“I’d kind of planned that 2017 was, you know, going to be the year that I work on new music, and I have a baby,” Underwood said. “We got pregnant early 2017, and didn’t work out.”

Underwood says she leaned into her faith at the time. “And that was the thing, in the beginning, it was like, ‘Okay, God, we know this is, just wasn’t Your timing. And that is all right. We will bounce back and figure our way through it.’”

After suffering a second miscarriage in 2017 and a third in 2018, “at that point, it was just kind of like, ‘Okay, like, what’s the deal? What is all of this?’” said Underwood.

“I had always been afraid to be angry,” Underwood explained of her reaction to the heartbreak on CBS. “Because we are so blessed. And my son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay, because he’s amazing.’ And I have this amazing life. Like, really, what can I complain about? I can’t. I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No.”

But when she was having a fourth miscarriage, “I got mad,” Underwood told CBS News’ Tracy Smith.

One of her most emotional moments came as she cuddled with her son and thought, “Why on Earth do I keep getting pregnant if I can’t have a kid? Like, what is this? Shut the door. Like, do something. Either shut the door or let me have a kid.”

“And for the first time, I feel like I actually I told God how I felt,” she added. “That was like a Saturday — and the Monday I went to the doctor to, like, confirm, another miscarriage. And they told me everything was great!”

She said, “He heard me.”

Alan Jackson’s Family Asks for Prayers After ‘Outgoing, Godly’ Son-in-Law Dies Helping Woman at 28

The families of Samuel Benton “Ben” Selecman, Alan Jackson’s son-in-law, are asking for emotional support after his unexpected death at 28.

In a statement shared via the country superstar’s website on Thursday, the Jackson and Selecman families said they “ask for — and appreciate — prayers during this difficult time.”

Selecman, who married Jackson’s oldest daughter Mattie last October, died on Wednesday in West Palm Beach, Florida, after suffering “severe traumatic head injuries in a fall,” according to the statement.

The Miami Herald reported that Selecman, an assistant district attorney for Davidson County in Tennessee, was on a boat dock and helping a woman onto a boat when he slipped and fell.

He is survived by his wife, as well as his parents, brother Cole, and sister-in-law Morgan.

Mattie previously opened up about their relationship to Southern Bride, after their fairytale wedding. The couple both lived in Nashville and wed in Franklin, Tennessee.

“Ben will tell you we first met at a mutual friends’ wedding, but I just remember dancing with a cute guy and never thinking about him after,” Mattie shared with Southern Bride. “We reconnected two years later while he spent a summer clerking for a judge in Nashville during law school. He asked me out and I said no, but he didn’t give up.”

“He pursued me until I finally saw the handsome, outgoing, Godly guy I needed. After deciding we were meant for forever, he took me on a picnic on the Old Historic Natchez Trace, where we enjoyed incredible wine, cheese, dancing, and the most romantic proposal,” Mattie told the publication.

The Office of the District Attorney General of Nashville Davidson County honored Selecman on their Facebook page, writing, “Assistant District Attorney Samuel Benton ‘Ben’ Selecman 1990-2018.”

“Thank you for your service, your kindness, compassion, and for the laughs and memories,” the office added.

In a statement obtained by Taste of Country, the office said, “The District Attorney’s Office is saddened to announce the passing of Assistant DA Ben Selecman… District Attorney Glen Funk said the DA’s Office is thankful for every day that Ben had the opportunity to serve the people of Davidson Country. Our prayers are with Ben’s family. He will truly be missed.”

Jessie James Decker Responds to Mommy Shaming Over Her Drinking While Breastfeeding

Jessie James Decker has all the confidence in the world regarding her parenting prowess.

In a chat with PEOPLE at her debut New York Fashion Week Show for her brand Kittenish on Monday, the 30-year-old singer and fashion designer shared how she has combated the backlash she received after breastfeeding her son Forrest Bradley, 5 months, while drinking a glass of wine.

“I honestly feel like I’m the voice of all the moms,” said Decker. “I definitely feel like they get heat for certain things. I know I’m a great mother, there’s not one doubt in my mind. I know that I take care of my babies, I know that they feel loved and they feel happy. I don’t have nannies; I take care of my children.”

“So if I want to have a cocktail to celebrate my husband doing something great in his work, I’m going to, and I can still breastfeed,” added Decker, whose new book Just Jessie: My Guide to Love, Life, Family and Food is out Oct. 2.

“I feel like I want to be a voice for those moms that feel heat from others, or feel judgment because this is a hard job, and if you want to enjoy yourself you do it.”

The Eric & Jessie: Game On star explained to PEOPLE that she has a “we’re all in this together” mindset when it comes to supporting her fellow mothers.

“I’ll talk to random moms that I meet at Gymboree and I’m like, ‘Hey, what’s going on with that? How do you do that?’ I’m always asking questions,” she revealed.

“And the same with me, girls asking questions,” added Decker, who is also mom to son Eric “Bubby” Thomas Jr., 3, and daughter Vivianne “Vivi” Rose, 4. “I just want all of us to feel like we’re in the same boat.”

While being a parent of three means balancing her kids’ individual needs, luckily for her, Decker’s third child — who joined the entire family in the front row of Decker’s fashion show — is about as laid-back as an infant can be.

“He just goes with the flow,” she told PEOPLE of Forrest. “After three children, you kind of know what to expect and he’s been super easy and just chill and the kids love him. And Vivi trying to change his diaper and pick him up, and I’m like ‘Ahh!’ But it’s good.”

Does that mean more kids could be in her and husband Eric Decker‘s future? “He wants more kids. Oh, my lord,” Decker said. “But no, he’s going to be doing some special things. There’s some things in the works and we’re excited about it.”

Cardi B Left Injured After Trying to Fight Nicki Minaj at New York Fashion Week Party

The feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B just turned physical.

On Friday night, the rappers got into a fight at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party that left Cardi bruised, a source confirms to PEOPLE. The bash was part of the festivities for New York Fashion Week.

An insider tells PEOPLE that Cardi arrived at the event first. After Nicki showed up, there was an “altercation” on the second-floor balcony during a Christina Aguilera performance.

“The scene was f—— crazy,” the insider tells PEOPLE. “It was entourage against entourage.”

“They had their altercation on the second-floor balcony, right above the red carpet. All of the sudden there was a big commotion and everyone didn’t know what was going on.”

Immediately following the incident, Cardi was escorted out by security while Nicki stayed inside. Cardi was seen leaving the party with a large lump on her forehead but no shoes.

“She left barefoot with her dress ripped and butt out,” source said. Cardi was wearing a red Dolce & Gabbana gown.

Videos of the incident were posted on social media. In one video posted by Twitter user Mihaela, Cardi B can be seen making a lunge towards someone, though it is not entirely clear if it’s the “Barbie Dreams” rapper.

In another video obtained by Cosmopolitan, Cardi can be seen removing her shoe as she repeatedly screams, “I will f— you up!”

Cardi is then seen throwing her shoe before she is dragged away while yelling that people were talking about her daughter.

An NYPD Public Information Officer confirmed to PEOPLE that there have been no arrests at this point and officials are still on the scene, noting that while the “incident itself has ended, the investigation is still ongoing.”

Representatives for the rappers did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Cardi later wrote a long scathing Instagram post which she entitled “PERIOD.” It did not mention Nicki by name, but suggested she had tried to sabotage Cardi’s career and also spoken badly about the rapper’s daughter, Kulture Kiari.

“I’ve let a lot of s— slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f— up the way I eat! You’ve threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop f—— with them!! I let you talk big s— about me!!” she wrote.

“I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f—— off!! I’ve worked to hard and come too far to let anybody f— with my success!!!! Bitches talk all that s— in they raps but in real life they pussy!! This s— really is for entertainment!!”

Brawls at Fashion Week events are hardly the norm, so the incident quickly became the talk of the party, with many of the famous attendees watching the video on their phones.

Martha Hunt, Gigi Hadid, Candice Swanepoel, and a bevy of other models were talking about it, the party insider tells PEOPLE.

“As soon as the performance let out, everyone was hunched over phones looking for pics. Little groups popped up everywhere.”

Organizers “were as shocked as everyone else,” the source added, noting that the incident occurred in the worst spot because it was in full view of the red carpet.

Friday night’s fight comes after a long-running feud between the pair. Nicki, however, has denied that there was ever any bad blood between them, though she did acknowledge a specific instance where she felt Cardi was ungrateful.

“The only thing that Cardi really, really, really hurt my feelings was the first interview she did after ‘Motorsport’,” Nicki explained of her collaboration on the song with Cardi and Migos. “I remember when I first came in the game, if a female of that stature had done a feature with me on it, I would only be singing their praises and saying, ‘Thank you.’ The first interview she did after ‘Motorsport’ came out, it really hurt me. She looked so aggravated and angry. And the only thing she kept saying was, ‘Oh, I didn’t hear that, I didn’t hear her verse.’ I was like…’What?'”

Taylor Swift Performs ‘Tim McGraw’ with Its Namesake and Wife Faith Hill — See the Video!

Nashville-based Swifties got a big surprise Saturday night!

During the latest stop on her record-breaking Reputation Stadium Tour, Taylor Swift brought some very special guests on stage to help her finish her performance of her first-ever single, “Tim McGraw.”

At the show, the country-turned-pop superstar, 28, performed the first part of the song with a piano solo before declaring, “Make some noise for Faith Hill, Nashville.”

After Hill, 50, appeared and gave Swift a big hug, the duo sang the second verse and chorus together before the real Tim McGraw joined Swift and his wife on stage. McGraw, 51, performed the song’s bridge solo, and then all three artists brought it home for the emotional finale.

One more special guest in attendance? Swift’s close friend Karlie Kloss, who was seen in the audience recording the singer performing her 1989 single “Blank Space” after rumors of a rift between the pals.

At one point, the newly engaged supermodel, 26, turned around and put her phone on selfie mode to record herself singing along to Swift’s hit tune.

“No one puts on a show like @taylorswift 🎤✨ #ReputationTour Nashville was out of this world, I am SO proud of you,” Kloss captioned an Instagram of the duo.

The Reputation Stadium Tour has been full of memorable moments for the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer and her fans. At her stop in Tampa, Florida, on Aug. 14 — the one-year anniversary of her 2017 groping trial, where she was famously awarded a symbolic $1 following her case against former radio host David Mueller — she gave an impassioned speech about the experience and her support for others who have been in a similar situation.

“A year ago I was not playing in a stadium in Tampa, I was in a courtroom in Denver, Colorado,” Swift bravely began her speech, which ended with the audience holding up $1 bills in support of the star. “This is the day the jury sided in my favor and said that they believed me.”

“I guess I just think about all the people that weren’t believed and the people who haven’t been believed, and the people who are afraid to speak up because they think they won’t be believed,” Swift continued.

“I just wanted to say I’m sorry to anyone who ever wasn’t believed because I don’t know what turn my life would have taken if somebody didn’t believe me when I said something had happened to me,” she added.

Evan Felker’s Ex-Wife Defended Him One Day Before Miranda Lambert Split News

Just one day before news broke that Miranda Lambert and Turnpike Troubadours singer Evan Felker have called it quits, Felker’s former wife Staci Nelson defended him on social media.

Despite previously being outspoken about her alleged mistreatment by her now-ex-husband, Nelson issued a passionate defense after an Instagram commenter urged her to “remove all the pictures of that creep.”

“Evan Felker will never be anybody to me, his friends, family or fans,” Nelson wrote of Felker, 34, who was accused of ghosting and blindsiding his then-estranged spouse with a sudden divorce filing in mid-February, a source told PEOPLE in April.

“I got hurt and I appreciate the support but I’ll never wish for bad things for that man or the Turnpike Troubadours,” Nelson continued. “It doesn’t matter what went down — a wife’s love doesn’t just shut down in 6 months. I didn’t take the Felker name flippantly and any smearing of it isn’t welcome on my page anymore.”

Multiple sources have confirmed to PEOPLE that Lambert and Felker’s relationship took off after his band opened for three dates on her Livin’ Like Hippies tour in early February. According to an insider, he served his wife with divorce papers just 15 days after meeting the “We Should Be Friends” singer in person for the first time, and on Aug. 17, a source confirmed that Felker and Nelson’s divorce was finalized.

PEOPLE has also confirmed that the Turnpike Troubadours dropped out of their final performances of Lambert’s The Bandwagon tour. Days later, Lambert, 34, revealed she is “happily single” in an interview The Tennessean published on Friday.

Nelson, who has yet to publicly comment on her ex-husband’s split from Lambert, showed on social media how she was spending her weekend. “NYC to the middle of nowhere all in 24 hours #ranchin and look at that sky,” she shared via Instagram Stories on Saturday, adding star-eyed and sunshine emojis over a photo of a cowboy hat-clad man in the distance riding a horse.

“Love is a hard road sometimes and it’s been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I’m definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I’ve had some really good songs come out of it,” Lambert told The Tennessean. “You’ve got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts.”

Lambert and Felker were last spotted in late July when they were photographed holding hands in New York City ahead of their show at the Jones Beach Theater.

Lambert recently got candid in a rare interview with HITS Daily Double about heartbreak — and breaking hearts — while discussing her emotional album The Weight of These Wings.

“I am who I am. I am honest about being flawed,” she said. “That’s all I can be, you know? I cuss. I drink. I get divorced and get my heart broken. I break hearts.”

Luke Bryan’s Fame Doesn’t Give Him ‘Cool’ Points with His Kids: ‘It Doesn’t Faze Them’

Over the weekend, Luke Bryan played to about 30,000 people in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. If you think his children are impressed, well, think again.

“It’s fun having my boys at the age where if they’re in my truck, I can play them a new song and see if they like it and see what they think about their dad’s newest songs,” he told PEOPLE on Sunday.

His kids — Thomas “Bo” Boyer, 8, and Tatum “Tate” Christopher, 6 — don’t necessarily have a favorite song that their dad sings, but they do have favorite activities.

Still, they understand that a lot people really like their dad, as evidenced by the massive crowd gathered to see him at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Sin City.

“It’s all they’ve ever known. Ever since they’ve been born, I’ve been in this role as a country singer,” he says. “They understand that their dad is a famous person and they understand that when we’re out in public some people are going to want to take pictures or get an autograph.”

But the boys don’t care how many people perceive Bryan as “cool” — he’s still just Dad to them.

“It doesn’t faze them,” Bryan says. “I wouldn’t say it gives me any more cool points. As long as I can play with them in the yard or wrestle with them on the floor, that’s pretty much all they’re concerned with.”

Best Playdate Ever! Carrie Underwood Shares Sweet Photos of Son Isaiah Visiting Sesame Place

Hello, Elmo!

Carrie Underwood‘s son Isaiah had the time of his life over the weekend when the country star and her tot visited Sesame Place, an amusement park featuring all the favorites from Sesame Street, in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

In a series of Instagram posts, the proud mom, 33, spent a fun day with her 19-month-old, who she shares with husband Mike Fisher.

“Since we were in the area…we got the chance to make Isaiah’s day! Thanks, #sesameplace for the fun! We all had a blast!” Underwood wrote in a post, showing her son being greeted by Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Zoe and Count Von Count.

In a subsequent post, Underwood shared an adorable photo of her son — dressed in jeans and a gray jacket with white stars — embracing his furry new friend, Elmo.

“Isaiah [loves] ELMO!!! #sesameplace,” she wrote in the post.

And the Sesame Street star sighting didn’t end there. Later in the day, Underwood — who was spotted munching on popcorn with Isaiah in tow as they made their way around the amusement park — posted a photo of her toddler covered in a few new plush pals.

“I call this photo: Sesame OD #sesameplace,” she captioned the fun snapshot.

The mother-son duo stopped by the park’s Sesame Street en route to Hershey, Pennsylvania, where Underwood continued her North American leg of The Storyteller Tour. Last month, she talked to PEOPLE about life on the road for her family of three.

“On days off, we look for parks and zoos and aquariums,” she said. “It’s definitely a balancing act. I have help, because someone has to watch Isaiah when I’m on stage, but we live a lot more on the bus now instead of going in and out of hotels.”

For Underwood, it’s important to make sure Fisher — a center for the Nashville Predators — spends time bonding with Isaiah.

“We FaceTime almost every day so [Mike] can have a little interaction with Isaiah,” she says. “That has to be hard, for him to be away from Isaiah. I have never been on that side of it. They need their time together because Isaiah loves his daddy!”

Underwood is slated to perform in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Tuesday.

Luke Bryan on Raising Nephew Til After His Brother-in-Law’s Death: ‘We Woke Up and Had a Teenager in Our Midst’

Luke Bryan
Lester Cohen/Getty

Luke Bryan has learned a few important lessons about parenting a teenager — far sooner than he had expected.

The singer stepped up to care for nephew Til and nieces Kris and Jordan after the sudden death of Bryan’s brother-in-law in 2014. The children’s father had been raising his kids on his own following Bryan’s late sister’s death in 2007.

Bryan and his wife Caroline have since settled into life with 14-year-old Til, who now lives with the family in Nashville. The country crooner calls their blended group “a social experiment” — an “amazing” one, he notes.

“We woke up and had a teenager in our midst, but we love it,” Bryan tells PEOPLE. “It’s nothing but positive. Til is having a blast and I think he’s finally settled in being in Nashville.”

But Bryan, who has two boys of his own with Caroline, Thomas “Bo” Boyer, 8, and Tatum “Tate” Christopher, 6, admits he’s had to navigate some tricky parenting waters sooner than he thought.

“We’re having to watch grades and watch Instagram and Snap Chat and keep him from being on that all day long,” he says. “It’s interesting because he’ll be a boy one minute and he’ll act like a man the next, so you just try to help him make good decisions and study hard and be respectful and try to do your best to raise them right.”

And Til is teaching his uncle a few things along the way. Chief among them? “Don’t wrestle a teen!” Bryan says with a laugh. “He throws me around the house pretty good now! He’s taller than me now and he can chuck me around pretty easily.”

Bo and Tate, meanwhile, have learned a few new tricks from Til.

“They learn all the dances from him,” Bryan, who heads out on his eighth annual Farm Tour next month, says. “What is it? The Dab and all that. And the Nae Nae. He teaches them all that. They’re out there in the yard doing that when they score a touchdown.”

The singer, who’s known for some of his own moves, is quick to note that he won’t be adding the new dances to his stage repertoire.

“I try not to learn all that stuff!” he says. In fact, in the eyes of his teenage charge, “I’m spiraling toward more and more uncool as a dad now.”

Carrie Underwood Does Her Laundry (and Hair and Makeup!) on Tour: It ‘Makes Me Feel Human’

“Dirty Laundry” isn’t just Carrie Underwood‘s latest single: It’s a day-to-day task that doesn’t stop when she’s on tour.

“We travel with a washer-dryer. Doing my own laundry makes me feel like a human,” the 33-year-old country singer tells PEOPLE of life on the road with 18-month-old Isaiah Michael, her son with her NHL player husband Mike Fisher.

In fact, having bits of her everyday life with her on tour is crucial for the seven-time Grammy winner.

“I bring my dogs, which is a little piece of home. And I have a cooking surface on the bus because I like to cook as much as possible. Room service gets old,” adds Underwood, who just resumed her North American portion of The Storyteller Tour — Stories in the Round with a show in Anchorage, Alaska, on Wednesday.

Underwood is a busy woman these days. Aside from parenting duties and putting on multiple shows a week, she is also gearing up to co-host the 50th Annual Country Music Awards alongside Brad Paisley.

But the hectic schedule is just part of life for the singer and mom of one.

“It’s definitely a balancing act. I have help, because someone has to watch Isaiah when I’m on stage, but we live a lot more on the bus now instead of going in and out of hotels,” she explains.

Instagram Photo

Luckily, Underwood has everything she needs in their mobile abode for her son to be happy and comfortable.

“My bus is outfitted for him — he has a crib in the back, and everything is safe there,” she says. “That’s a whole other thing — when you’re in a hotel, they probably wonder why I put the big plant in the closet. It’s because he’ll grab it.

“Or the big lamp on the floor? I have to put it in the closet,” the “Cowboy Casanova” singer adds. “It’s a whole new thing to think about, and it’s definitely a lot more going on.”

Instagram Photo

The American Idol alum might have her hands full, but she also finds time for quiet bonding moments with her little boy.

“On days off, we look for parks and zoos and aquariums,” she says, adding that she likes to go to farmer’s markets, co-ops and more to buy groceries wherever she’s visiting.

Underwood reveals that between all that, she’s somehow still able to find time for just herself.

“I do my own hair and makeup on the road. It’s another thing that … I’m a person and I’m a lady, and I like to do my own makeup and hair,” she says. “On red carpets, somebody else has to do it for me because the lights can do weird stuff with your face. But on the road, it’s my zen time before the show.”

But she also admits, “When it’s all over, I just want to enjoy some time at home and watch some hockey!”

As for parenting with her husband, who is a center for the Nashville Predators, Underwood says they make it work while she has Isaiah with her on the road by taking advantage of current technology.

“We FaceTime almost every day so [Mike] can have a little interaction with Isaiah,” she says. “He comes out sometimes. I look for times when his schedule has him playing at home, and we might send Isaiah home to be with him so he can have some time with him.

“That has to be hard, for him to be away from Isaiah. I have never been on that side of it,” the “Jesus Take the Wheel” singer adds. “They need their time together because Isaiah loves his daddy!”

David Nail on Fertility Struggles Before His Twins: We Felt ‘Like Everything Was Stacked Against’ Us

David Nail became a first-time dad in December to twins Lawson Brent and Lillian Catherine. And now, he’s opening up about the fertility struggles he and wife of seven years Catherine endured on their multiple-year journey toward expanding their family.

“A lot of what we dealt with had to do with me,” admits the country singer, 37, in a video for his website’s #Fighter series, which premiered Wednesday and will lead up to the Friday release of Nail’s album Fighter. “As a man, you definitely don’t want to hear that.”

Aside from Nail’s video — in which he and Catherine discuss their fertility issues and Nail’s past experiences with long-term depression — the six-episode series will run inspirational “fighter” stories from everyday people who have conquered hurdles in their own lives.

The “Night’s On Fire” crooner also recounts his thoughts behind their decision to implant two embryos, regardless of the risk and difficulty involved in potentially having and raising twins.

” ‘It’s been this difficult … if we are so lucky to have two, it may be the only two we ever get,’ ” Nail recalls saying.

Though Nail admits it got to the point where it felt “like everything was stacked against” the couple, the time and effort involved in trying multiple procedures was worth it — for both of them.

“[Catherine] had dreams to be a mother, and would always tell me that’s what she was born to do,” he says. “So in whatever way I was [contributing to that not] happening was beyond frustrating.”

Catherine adds it was “insult to injury” for her husband after finding out the cause of their conception issues right around the time Nail’s depression was diagnosed. But she adds she would go through the entire fertility treatment process again.

“Your eye is on the prize, and that’s just what I kept telling myself every single day: ‘What’s the end result?’ ” the new mom says. “Yes, this may hurt for now, but I would do it again. I would do it 10 times again to get what we have now.

Instagram Photo

The couple also shares the stories behind the moments Catherine found out she was pregnant, breaking the news to her husband and the day their children were born.

“I had a pretty decent idea of what I was about to witness but I had, at the end of the day, no clue,” Nail says about his experience during his wife’s labor and childbirth. “I can remember [the doctors] counting the needles and counting the knives and the tools.

“I can remember her shaking,” he adds, continuing emotionally as both he and his wife tear up. “And then you hear somebody cry.”

Nail also admits that he knew his life had just changed in the best way immediately upon the arrival of Lawson and Lillian.

“It’s the beginning of a new journey, but it’s the end of this tremendous struggle that we had gone through for so long,” the singer says of his thoughts following the moment he became a father.

Instagram Photo

Fighter comprises 11 tracks total — including one called “Babies,” a tribute to his twins.

“The most important part of the song was to let them know, ‘Hey, this wasn’t just some Tuesday night [where] we went out to dinner and came home and nine months later you were here,’ ” he shares. ” ‘This was a lot of prayer, a lot of work, a lot of frustration, anger, fights.’ ”

He continues shakily before wiping a tear away, “You just want them to know that it wasn’t easy, but [you’d] go through it 15 times just to experience that moment again.”

In a press release for the album, Nail gets honest about what writing and recording the album meant for him.

“I truly believe this album, from top to bottom, is the first time I have been able to tell my story in real time of where I am right now as an artist, a husband and a father,” he confessed.

“I wrote more songs for this album than I have for any of my other three so it’s already more personal. Fighter speaks to my journey, my life and now to where I am personally and professionally.”

Jake Owen Let Daughter Pearl Choose the Color of His New Boat – She Picked Pink!

Jake Owen
Michael Simon/Startraks

It’s no secret that Jake Owen loves to be on the water. It’s also no secret that he loves hanging out with his daughter Olive Pearl  — so it’s no surprise that she picked out the colors of her dad’s newest boat.

Well, almost.

“She wanted pink and blue, although I thought pink and blue might not be the greatest combination,” Owen told PEOPLE at CMA Fest, where he opened the show by coming up to the stage on a boat, in June.

“We stuck with the pink and went pink and silver sparkle flakes.”

The “American Country Love Song” singer has been shaking things up this year. He hopped in a 1966 seafoam green Volkswagen Microbus, affectionately called “Jake’s Love Bus,” and drove from Nashville to Key West while filming the music video for his latest single from his upcoming album American Love, out July 29.

Owen, 34, plans to spend the summer continuing his adventures alongside his 3½-year-old daughter.

“She’s at the age where she’s learning to swim and we’re working on whether or not she feels comfortable getting up on a tube,” he shares.

Their adventures together are well documented on Owen’s Instagram account — fishing on Father’s Day and hitting the golf course together, Pearl with her own appropriately-sized clubs.

The two are a match made in heaven. “Pearl loves the water as well, so we’re gonna go wherever that takes us,” he says.

Charles Kelley Says Motherhood Makes His Wife ‘Really Sexy’: There’s ‘Beauty in the Way She Handles Our Baby’

Charles Kelley Rob Thomas Crossroads

Charles Kelley is suffering from first-time dad problems.

“I can’t tell if he’s smiling or [if] it’s gas,” the Lady Antebellum singer, 34, told PEOPLE of his son before taping the latest installment of CMT Crossroads alongside Matchbox 20 frontman Rob Thomas.

Kelley and his wife Cassie welcomed their first child, Ward Charles, in February and the two are relishing their “really chill” baby boy.

“As of now, I see him as a very even temperament,” Kelley says. “If we have another kid, I’m sure that will change everything.”

The singer, who released his solo album Driver earlier this year, confesses the arrival of their son made him look at his wife in a whole new light.

“There’s a motherly sweetness and beauty in the way she handles our baby. It’s really sexy,” he shares.

Kelley and Thomas are the latest in a long line of musical matchups for Crossroads.

“The Crossroads we were lucky enough to do with Stevie Nicks, that started a relationship where she’s even singing on my new record,” Kelley explains.

So is there a Lady Antebellum/Matchbox 20 mashup on the horizon?

“We are already talking about a writing session,” says Kelley. “The wheels are turning and he comes to Nashville a lot so it’s such an organic matchup. I think we’ll write together, we’ll write with Lady A, write for each others projects.”

Keifer Thompson Jokes Charles Kelley Looks Like a ‘New Dad’ Who Is ‘Not Sleeping’

Even celebrities aren’t free of the wrath of sleepless newborns.

“We don’t sleep,” Lady Antebellum‘s Charles Kelley told PEOPLE Wednesday night on the red carpet at the CMT Awards. “I don’t know if Ward is just growing so fast or teething or what, but we don’t get any sleep.”

The Grammy-nominated artist, 34 — who welcomed his first child, son Ward Charles, in February — admits that the new lifestyle has been hardest on his wife Cassie, who stays up with their baby boy throughout the night for feedings.

“By the time 6:30 a.m. rolls around, she’s ready for a break,” he says, “which I’m not used to — I’m used to sleeping until 10 a.m.! It’s a different world, man.”

But some country-artist parents are luckier than others. Shawna Thompson of Thompson Square gave birth to son Rigney Cooper two weeks before Ward’s birth, and she and husband Keifer have had a completely different experience.

“We went back on the road about a month ago, and he’s took to it really well,” Shawna says. “He’s sleeping on the bus.”

Adds Keifer, “We put him in there, and the bus starts rolling and he’s out. It’s wonderful.”

How does his pal Kelley feel about this?

“They hate us,” Keifer jokes. “You can look at Charles and just tell he’s a new dad and not sleeping. Poor man!”

Like Cooper, Ward has also become a mini jet-setter, having been on 13 flights to meet up with his dad on The Driver tour. An avid golfer, Kelley already has grand plans for his son to follow suit.

“You can tell he wants to stand and walk and move,” he says. “So many people have come over and said, ‘I’ve never seen a baby at this age already show signs of standing up, holding himself up.’ He’s got a lot of strength in his arms, so we’ll see.”

Cassie says that everything about becoming a parent has been “surprising.”

“You know how it’s going to change your life, but even knowing that going into it, you really have no clue,” the new mom says.

Kelley adds, “When I’m on the road, I cannot wait to get home and just see him and be around him, even though I know it’s going to be exhausting. The three of us together are just this new family unit. It’s turned into a different life — it’s so much fun.”

Jana Kramer’s Blog: The Twists and Turns of My Daughter’s Delivery

Jana Kramer is a new mom!

The 32-year-old country singer/songwriter’s song “I Got the Boy” has been certified gold, was named one of the best songs of 2015 by the New York Times, as well as Rolling Stone. Her album, thirty one, features 11 tracks including latest single “Said No One Ever.” Stream the record here.

Kramer is nominated for female vocalist of the year and breakthrough female of the year at Sunday’s American Country Countdown Awards, where she’s also presenting.

Before moving to Nashville, where she lives with her husband, former NFL tight end Michael Caussin, and their three dogs, Kramer was an actress, playing Alex on One Tree Hill and guest-starring on Friday Night Lights, Entourage and 90210.

The couple wed in Charlottesville, Virginia, in May and welcomed their first child, daughter Jolie Rae, on Jan. 31.

I can’t believe it has been almost three months since I gave birth to our baby girl! It honestly feels like just yesterday.

It is funny, when I first got pregnant I asked everyone who had a baby what their delivery story was. I don’t know if I asked because I was nervous about what was going to happen, or if I just wanted to be prepared. What I learned from asking though was that everyone’s story was different and I was so anxious to find out what our story was going to be.

It definitely wasn’t one of the stories I heard where everything went as planned and that no pain was felt.

A few weeks before I had Jolie, I was having Braxton Hicks contractions and they started to get stronger so I made Michael take me to the hospital. I swore I was going into labor. Five hours later, no baby and just a lot of wasted time as we walked out of the hospital. I kept asking the doctor, “But how will I know if they are real labor contractions?” She said, “Oh, trust me, you will know.”

I didn’t know what that meant until the morning of January 31st.

Jana Kramer blog

My mom flew in from Michigan on January 30th because we knew the time was near. We went to see Star Wars the night before and I remember barely being able to walk because my joints were hurting me so bad and just praying she would come soon. That night, I had contractions all night long.

When I woke up at 8 in the morning, I stood up and I remember looking at my husband saying, “Um, honey, I’m not peeing myself so I think this is my water breaking.” All of my friends that I have talked to never had their water break so I didn’t know what to expect.

Jana Kramer blog

About a minute later, I had insanely crazy contractions. I started screaming because they hurt so badly, so my mom came flying down the stairs and I ran outside. I waited for about 10 minutes as my husband brushed his teeth and put on clothes, meanwhile I am outside the car screaming, yelling for him to get his butt out of the house.

It is quite the joke now but at the time, it was so not funny. I must have woken up my whole neighborhood by screaming his name to get into the car. Thirty minutes and 100mph later we were at the hospital.

I was having contractions every two to three minutes and they were so bad that I couldn’t talk. I knew then what the doctor meant when she said “you will know.” Oh I knew, and oh boy was I ready for that epidural. I have a crazy amount of respect for women that have natural births and as much as I would like to pretend I would have wanted to, I did not at all.

By 9 a.m., I was given the epidural. I will say I was most nervous for this part because I heard it was painful, but honestly it wasn’t bad at all. It was like a small bee sting and then BANG, my contractions were gone. I will admit I wasn’t a fan of not feeling my legs. To not have control was very weird, but I would rather that over the pain I felt an hour before.

As I sat there waiting to go into labor, my best friend Kathryn came and we played cards and hung out. My doctor checked in with me a few times and I was very anxious for what was next. I was hoping for a vaginal birth, so when she came in at 3 p.m. saying I needed to have an emergency c-section, it scared the living daylights outta me.

I had a fever that kept spiking and my white cell count was a lot higher than it should have been so my doctor said for the health and safety of me and the baby, we needed to get her out immediately. Needless to say, I was scared and everything that followed happened so fast. I was wheeled back and was set up for a c-section.

Thirty minutes later, I met my baby girl Jolie. She had a fever so she spent her first two hours in the NICU with Daddy, and it wasn’t until three hours later that I got to really hold my baby girl. I wish I could explain that moment. It was the most surreal, most loving moment of my life. I never thought I could love something so much.

Three months later and I love her even more than I thought was ever possible. The past three months have had their ups and downs and the first two weeks post-pregnancy were really hard for me. My emotions were everywhere. I remember my husband Mike walking into the room and I was bawling and he asked what was wrong and I had NO idea. It was very intense and would come out of nowhere.

I also dealt with a lot of shame with the fact that my milk never came in. I had a really, really hard time with that. I felt like I wasn’t a good mom because of it, but what I think hurt the worst was because of all the “mommy shame” out there. At the end of the day, I was a formula baby and I think I turned out okay.:)

My baby girl has been really gassy and colicky, but now at 13 weeks she is starting to really show her adorable personality. Her smile is everything and she for sure has my dimples. She already has Mike and I wrapped around her finger 100 percent. I have never in my life been this in love.

The constant variable in all of this has been Mike. He has been insanely caring, reliable, and to see him with our daughter makes me melt. I can’t wait to see the relationship they build and for him to show her how a man should treat a woman.

Tour season has started and we have a baby on board! It has brought on its own set of challenges, but we are all figuring it out. She has started sleeping through the night, which has helped. But it is very tiring when I’m up with her early in the morning and then having to go on stage at 10 p.m.

It really is 24-7 mom to singer to mom, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I am excited to see what is to come. Seeing how strong she is with her neck already, and then soon she will be rolling over, to walking … it’s amazing how time is already flying by. Stay tuned!

Hot Mama! Jana Kramer Stuns in First Post-Baby Red Carpet Appearance at ACM Awards

Jana Kramer is red hot.

On Sunday, the 32-year-old country singer hit the red carpet at the 51st annual Academy of Country Music Awards, marking her first appearance since giving birth to daughter Jolie Rae in January.

Donning a revealing dress and diamond jewels from D’Orazio & Associates, Kramer smiled alongside husband Mike Caussin at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on country’s big night.

The star showed off her look once again when she took the stage with Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller to announce song of the year, which went to Chris Stapleton‘s “Nobody to Blame.” For Kramer, dressing to the nines has become a special occasion.

“I don’t wear anything nice anymore, I have spit-up on me constantly, I haven’t showered in three days, and I’m not quite sure when I brushed my teeth last,” the first-time mom exclusively told PEOPLE of her exciting new chapter in March.

Still, throughout her journey into motherhood, Kramer said she been keeping it cool.

“All of my friends have been like, ‘Yeah, don’t take this the wrong way. We totally thought that you were going to be super stressed out, basically have a mental breakdown,'” she said.

But as it turns out, “Being a mom is the most incredible feeling in the world,” she shared. “I always wanted to be a mom. I’m so happy!”

And her husband Caussin has been there every step of the way.

“Mike is so hands-on,” Kramer explained. “I have zero worries about him taking care of her. He’s the best. We have this little baby app on our phone and we both go on there and log when she’s fed, when she peed last … he’s on top of that.”

Parents Night Out! Charles Kelley and Wife Cassie Hit the ACM Red Carpet

No sleep deprivation here!

Charles Kelley and wife Cassie crushed the exhausted new parents stereotype when they made a super glam arrival at the ACM Awards Sunday in Las Vegas.

The glowing couple, who welcomed their first child, son Ward Charles, on Feb. 11, are reveling in their night out. And though Cassie’s loving having a baby boy, she was clearly thinking pink when it came to her awards show attire, donning a light pink fringed frock and a beaming smile on the red carpet.

Baby Ward won’t be missing his parents too long though, he’s waiting for them back at the hotel room. The Kelleys brought their son along for his first look at the neon lights on the Vegas strip.

Jana Kramer Gets Real About Being a New Mom: ‘I’m Not Quite Sure When I Brushed My Teeth Last’

Jana Kramer has been a mom for two months now — she and husband Michael Caussin welcomed daughter Jolie Rae in January.

And all things considered, the country singer, 32, says she’s taken to motherhood a lot better than she (and her pals!) thought.

“All of my friends have been like, ‘Yeah, don’t take this the wrong way. We totally thought that you were going to be super stressed out, basically have a mental breakdown,’ ” Kramer tells PEOPLE exclusively.

But thankfully, the “Said No One Ever” singer explains that isn’t the case at all. “Being a mom is the most incredible feeling in the world,” says Kramer. “I always wanted to be a mom. I’m so happy!”

PEOPLE caught up with our blogger to talk about everything from breastfeeding and late nights to the upcoming ACM Awards and a much-needed date night.

PEOPLE: As a first-time mom, were you really nervous about impending motherhood?

Jana: I had so much anxiety before she was born! I couldn’t remember the last time I changed a diaper, and I was like, “How do you know what cry is what?” I wasn’t really around newborns a lot so I was extremely freaked out.

PEOPLE: Were the first couple of days really difficult?

Jana: The second she came out and we got home, it was like, “Oh I got this!” The mom instinct just totally kicked in and you really do realize which cry is which. It’s the craziest thing. All of a sudden I’m like, “I’m the mom. I got this.”

PEOPLE: What’s been the biggest challenge?

Jana: The most challenging thing so far has definitely been figuring out what’s going on with her tummy. She’s such a gassy baby. I’m on Google 24/7 trying to figure out what to do and see what other moms say. It’s been tough –I hate to see her cry.

PEOPLE: Are you getting any sleep?

Jana: Unfortunately, my breast milk never came in. I had trouble with that –there’s so much mommy shame about not breastfeeding. She’s on formula. It does help with getting some sleep though. I do the first night feeding and Mike does the next one. We’re sleeping probably like four to five hours. That’s not bad.

PEOPLE: Has your husband been a big help?

Jana: Mike is so hands-on. I have zero worries about him taking care of her. He’s the best. We have this little baby app on our phone and we both go on there and log when she’s fed, when she peed last … he’s on top of that.

PEOPLE: Are you a super glam mom?

Jana: I don’t wear anything nice anymore, I have spit-up on me constantly, I haven’t showered in three days, and I’m not quite sure when I brushed my teeth last.

PEOPLE: Yikes, sounds like you need a date night!

Jana: Yeah, I need some me time. I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty excited for the ACM Awards. I haven’t felt that pretty!

PEOPLE: Will you be bringing Jolie to Las Vegas for the show? You’re nominated this year!

Jana: No, but I have full trust in my in-laws that they’re going to take good care of her. We’re going to be away from her for four nights. It will be rough. I basically told them that they have to send a million pictures.

I will be on that baby tracker app, being like, “It’s been three hours, you need to feed her now!” I will be on that thing like crazy. But I’m also going to try and enjoy myself too and the time away with the husband because I think that’s important as well.

PEOPLE: What are the plans for when you get back on the road?

Jana: We’ve got the crib and the changing table on the bus … Everything we have at home is also going on the bus. I’m not slowing down –I’m actually doing more shows than I did last year.

Why Dierks Bentley Thinks a Ballet Lesson Would Be Good for Luke Bryan

As two of country’s top acts, Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley have a lot in common. But when the longtime friends get together, talk turns to family rather than fame.

“We’ve had this similar trajectory of life and family,” says Bentley, 40. “That’s always the biggest bond for us — being married and having kids. That’s the real stuff.”

The pair, who will be hosting the ACM Awards together on Sunday, married within a year of one another (Bentley in 2005 and Bryan in 2006) and both had their first kids in 2008.

When Bentley learned his third child was going to be a boy — son Knox is now 2 — after having had two girls, Evie, 7, and Jordan, 5, Bryan couldn’t contain his excitement.

“When he had his first boy, I was like, ‘Yes!’ ” says Bryan, 39, who has two sons, Bo, 8, and Tate, 5, plus his late sister’s son and two daughters, whom he is now raising.

“I have three boys now, so that’s my out: ‘Baby, I’m going fishing and I’m taking the boys!’ ”

Bentley wasn’t so sure. “At the time, I was reserved about it. I’m crazy about my girls and I’m very protective of them. But Luke was like, ‘You’ll see!’ And it is unbelievable.”

He adds, “Knox is a little mini-me. He loves airplanes, loves hockey, loves fishing, loves any sport. He is going to be my ticket to do a lot of fun stuff! I love being outdoors and my girls do a lot of outdoor stuff, but we also do a lot of theater and dance.”

Bryan says with a laugh: “Me at a ballerina deal? I don’t even know what I’d do!”

“It would be good for you!” Bentley says.

“It may be, but I wouldn’t even know what was going on,” quips Bryan.

“Dude,” says Bentley. “That’s how girls change you — you don’t know, but you learn!”

Carrie Underwood Says Son Isaiah Is Her Biggest Accomplishment: He’s the ‘Little Sunshine in My World’

She may have just kicked off her Storyteller tour, but Carrie Underwood is already in need of a night off.

And what better way to celebrate than while walking the red carpet at Monday’s Grammy Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

“We’re in random places sometimes and we’re just stuck with whatever we have. We’ve been really great and staying fit and being healthy while we’re on the road, making the best with what we’ve got,” the “Heartbeat” singer told E! News.

“But this is my little treat to myself this time. This is such a huge tour, we’re out for so long — I need some motivation.”

An evening out isn’t Underwood’s only recent treat: The singer showed off her stunning new Johnathon Arndt necklace, a Valentine’s Day present from husband Mike Fisher.

“[I’ve been] wearing it for no reason. Like, I’m in my pajamas in my room hanging out, just wearing this for no reason,” she joked. “I was like, ‘I’m not just gonna save it for red carpets. I’ve gotta put it on!’ ”

And while she’s nominated for best country solo performance for “Little Toy Guns,” Underwood admits her biggest accomplishment arrived in March 2015 when she welcomed son Isaiah Michael.

“My little guy is the little sunshine in my world every single day,” she said. “He’s back at the hotel right now. He’s smiley and sweet and happy and … he’s the best.”

Charles Kelley Considered Taking Private Plane to the Grammys, But Hasn’t Been Out of His Robe in Two Days

It’s been a wild ride for Charles Kelley: Not only is “The Driver” singer a first-time father, but he’s also up for his first Grammy nomination as a solo artist for his hit new single.

But if he wins best country duo/group performance on Monday, the new dad will not be on hand to accept the award.

The decision comes after Kelley and his wife Cassie welcomed son Ward Charles on Thursday — six days ahead of his original due date. In the week leading up to his son’s birth, Kelley, 34, told PEOPLE attending music’s biggest night was still up in the air.

“I told [Cassie], ‘I do not have to go,’ and she goes, ‘No, I want you to go, Charles. This project means the world to you — this is a big moment for you,’ ” he said.

“If I do go to the Grammys, I’m going to just have to bite the bullet and have a little private plane waiting in the wings.”

On Monday, Kelley took to Twitter to confirm he wouldn’t be attending. “Haven’t gotten out of my robe for two days. wish I could be [at the Grammys] today but my boy [Eric Paslay] representing in case we win,” he tweeted.

Other than the hectic timing of their baby boy’s birth, the first-time father felt pretty confident about parenthood. After spending much of his time surrounded by kids — brother Josh Kelley and his wife Katherine Heigl have two daughters while Lady Antebellum bandmates Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood are also parents — Kelley admitted he had plenty of experience.

“I feel really prepared. I know that sounds so naive, but I have a lot of nieces and nephews,” he explained. “I’ve been around Dave and Hillary’s babies on the road a lot.”

And Kelley has also dedicated time to brushing up on his baby skills on his own, which has included YouTube tutorials on swaddling. “That is the most astonishing thing,” he joked. “Babies are going ape s— [and] all of a sudden get them into that tight burrito and they just shut down. It’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.”

All the baby prepping had a few surprising perks, said Kelley — especially when it came time to learn about breastfeeding..

“We had a lactation nurse come over and talk to Cassie about all the different things and apparently, I’m supposed to massage her boob a little bit,” he shared. “I was like, ‘I can do that!’ ”

And while Kelley was clearly thrilled about welcoming his son — “We’ve been waiting for this moment for what feels like our whole marriage,” he said — the Lady Antebellum singer was worried about one thing.

“The only thing that scares me is the lack of sleep. I am such a baby when it comes to no sleep,” he explained. “Sleeping and vocal health go in the same category. I can always tell when I’ve been on the road and haven’t gotten any sleep.”

But even the potential all-nighters with a newborn didn’t deter Kelley’s excitement.

“I know how to do the rest of the things — I’m not grossed out by any of the other stuff,” he said. “I feel like I’m going to be a good dad. I love kids so much.”
