Watch Halle Berry Down Half a Pint of Whisky at Comic-Con

At a Comic-Con panel promoting the new Kingsman movie, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Halle Berry pounded down a giant glass of Kentucky bourbon after a dare from moderator Jonathan Ross, Britain’s Johnny Carson. You know, if Johnny Carson couldn’t pronounce his own name, but in an endearing way.

Co-star Channing Tatum had previously poured everyone a small shot glass of the liquor before giving Berry a pint glass he filled more than half-way up. This was part of the promotion for the film, which features a fictional whisky called Statesman’s Reserve.

When an audience member asked her which film series was more British, Kingsman or James Bond (a filmed series in which Berry also appeared as Jinx Johnson), Berry deflected by hoisting the glass of whisky in front of her. When Ross saw this, he chanted “chug, chug, chug” as a joke, but Berry obliged, downing the entire glass in one go. All of which you already know if you watched the embedded video above the paragraph. Of course, most people get their news from reading headlines, so it doesn’t matter what I write this far down in the article. Poop. See? No one saw that.

Unlike most of the movies and television shows promoted at Comic-Con, the Kingsman series is actually based on a comic book. The Secret Service, by Mark Miller and Watchmen penciller Dave Gibbons, unraveled the mystery surround the death of Mark Hamill. The film version changed this to something generic about overpopulation and then cast Mark Hamill anyway because what the hell. Berry and Tatum are new cast members in the sequel and members of Statesman, Kingsman’s American counterpart.

After the panel, Berry dodged questions about if what she drank was really whisky, telling an Entertainment Tonight reporter she wanted to “Let that be a mystery to the world.” I’m assuming that after the panel, Berry had a snack and took a look at all the vendors not selling comic books on the convention floor.

Halle Berry Goes Topless for Snacks

If you’ve got snacks, Halle Berry’s got a special present for you.

Berry posted on Instagram a picture of herself topless with some sort of strategically placed lace doohickey. I have no clue. I do know that I can see an outline of Berry’s breasts and that made my day.

Me when someone says "I'm coming over and I've got snacks."

A post shared by Halle Berry (@halleberry) on

Berry captioned it: “Me when someone says “I’m coming over and I’ve got snacks.”

She didn’t specify what snacks, but as long as she stays like that, she can have all the snacks she wants.

Also, she’s 50, but her boobs look 25. She drinks virgin blood. For real.

Halle Berry Slams Instagram Troll Who Criticized Photo of Her Kids: ‘I’m Not at All Ashamed’ of My Children

Halle Berry is one mama you do not want to mess with.

The 50-year-old actress recently clapped back at an Instagram troll who criticized a recent photo Berry shared of her children Nahla, 8, and 3-year-old son Maceo.

Berry posted a shot of the children showing only their smiles and bodies — but cropping their faces. One Instagram critic called the star out, writing, “What’s with the hiding of the faces? They’re beautiful children why not show them off?”

The Kidnap actress responded, noting that this isn’t the first time the critic has given an unsolicited opinion.

“I’ve noticed you have said this several times now so let me be clear — I’m not at all ashamed of [my] children. I try to find creative ways to incorporate them into my feed because they are the biggest part of my life, but I also work very hard to keep their identities as private as I can considering they are only children,” she wrote.

“It’s my belief, and I’m not criticizing others who have different beliefs, that it’s my job as their mother to protect their privacy as best I can. When they grow and they’re of age and they want [to] share their images on the internet, that will be for them to decide, not me. Feel me? Have a beautiful day.”

Berry didn’t seem too fazed by the Instagram spat though, as she was showing off her silly side just hours later.

The star uploaded an Instagram photo of herself lounging in a t-shirt affixed with a photo of a young Adele.

Berry wrote: “Much like the rest of the [world], I can never get enough @adele. #daydreamer.”

Halle Berry may be new to Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, but it looks like she has the artistic — and familial — sides of social media down.

The X-Men: Days of Future Past actress, 49, took to Instagram Monday to post a sweet clip of her two kids: daughter Nahla Ariela, 8, and son Maceo-Robert, 2½.  The siblings are shown embracing each other, with Nahla twirling flowers while her little brother looks on.

“Picking flowers and remembering those who have lost their lives,” Berry captioned the soundless video, ending her text accompaniment, “♥ us.”

Latest Hollywood Couples Facing Marital Woes

In Hollywood, it’s normal to hear about celebrity couples split up whether married for a few months or many years. Their divorce is unpredictable and one that usually comes as a surprise to their fans.

Recently, several couples have been experiencing marital problems with some of them deciding to file for divorce.

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger

Singer Avril Lavigne announced last September that she and husband Chad decided to go their separate ways. No fights are involved, though, as their decision to divorce was amicable and both remain to be good friends. In fact according to Avril, she and Chad “are still and will forever be the best of friends” and will care for each other as always. The two got married in July 2013.

Beyonce and Jay-Z

If there’s one issue that singers Beyonce and Jay-Z are struggling to deal with, it has to be trust. And reports say this has led to a rocky marriage that might ultimately head towards splitsville. In fact, the couple are said to be thinking about divorce.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been together since 1999 yet up to now, they continue to face trust and jealousy problems. According to a source close to the couple, Jay-Z is a “huge flirt” and has women surrounding him most of the time causing his wife to be jealous. Although observers point out that Beyonce is only human to feel jealous, worrying about her husband all the time can indeed badly affect their relationship.

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez

For their part, Halle Berry and partner are dealing with irreconcilable differences. Money is not an issue in their troubled two-year marriage as reports say, the couple signed a prenuptial agreement.

Some people including celebrities often opt to have a prenup before they tie the knot to protect their own assets and to keep them financially secure should things go wrong in the future, according to Los Angeles divorce lawyers. Legal experts agree that people who have acquired assets including properties while they’re single should opt for a prenup so their assets won’t be touched in case of divorce.

Personality difference has been cited as a major issue between the couple. A recent incident involving Olivier hitting a man with a car seat has been a cause of their arguments particularly as it led to Martinez being sued. Halle Berry reportedly filed for divorce first.

Halle and Olivier earlier issued a joint statement confirming their divorce and their wish for each other’s happiness. “We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son,” they said.

The couple has a two-year-old son Maceo while Halle also has a daughter from a previous relationship.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady

Gisele Brundchen and Tom Bray are another couple whose facing a rocky marriage. The highest-paid model and NFL pro recently revealed in the US Weekly magazine that they have been fighting intensely over Brady’s suspension. The NFL quarterback player was suspended last May and was not allowed to play in four games.

Despite their problem, though, the supermodel continues to support her hubby during his trial.

Halle Berry’s Exes Gang Up Against Her!

On the wake of the actress’ divorce from Olivier Martinez, her exes just had to weigh in on the action, right?

David Justice, who was married to her from 1993 to 1997, tweeted that Berry “was mad at me leaving the relationship so she and her Hollywood Team just tried to destroy my character. It had to be my fault, right?”

The former MLB player continues, “It just makes me mad to still see the same lie being perpetuated about the source of her abuse being me, Never happened!”

“My man at @23davidjustice is tweeting some truth dis’ mornin’,” ex Eric Benet, married to her from 2001 to 2006 agrees.

Hmm. This doesn’t bode well for the clients.

Beyonce Makes History on Vogue’s September Cover

If there is a queen in our midst, it is Beyoncé. This year, she’s making history by being the first black female performer to ever cover Vogue‘s September issue, the most prestigious cover of the year. And it’s only the third time a black woman has ever covered the fashion bible’s September issue, following Naomi Campbell in 1989 and Halle Berry in 2010. Beyonce is making history, and she’s doing it in gorgeous couture.

Shot by Mario Testino, the cover features Beyoncé in a Marc Jacobs gown covered in blush lace and accented with a wine sequin blazer. Of the Queen, Jacobs said: “The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality.”

Bey definitely exudes more than that, namely, ferocity, independence, sexuality, talent, and a certain grace. She’s elegance combined with power, and that’s why so many women look up to her, and so many men want to be with her.

Vogue chose the best person to cover their September issue, and in doing so, managed to make history, paving the way for other black female performers and extending Beyoncé’s mystique, appeal, and persona.

The Vogue September issue is available for digital subscribers on Aug. 14 and on newsstands on Aug. 25.

Halle Berry Stops Wearing Wedding Ring: Did She Dump Olivier Martinez?

Earlier this month, we reported that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez were planning to divorce sometime in the very near future.

Now, it looks as though the couple may have done ahead and quietly called it quits with no announcement:

Halle Berry Without Wedding Ring

The photo above shows Halle at a red carpet event hosted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association last night.

Not only is her husband of two years nowhere to be found, but Halle is once again not wearing her wedding or engagement rings.

When she was first spotted without her engagement ring last week, the official story was that she lost it and chose not to replace it.

Now, Halle has removed her wedding band too, and it seems that she's through pretending.

Berry and Martinez married in July of 2013, and rumors of trouble in the relationship began almost immediately thereafter.

We have no way of knowing if either party has actually taken steps to legally end the marriage, but it now it seems that Halle is sending a pretty clear message that it's over.

Speaking of breakups, Andrew Garfield attended last night's HFPA event, working the red carpet solo for the first since being dumped by Emma Stone.

He and Halle would make a good pair, though they might yield the unfortunate couple nickname "Barfield."

Cara Delevingne SLAMS Superhero Movies And Says They’re ‘Totally Sexist’! Decide If You Agree With Her Reasoning!

Cara Delevingne has never been afraid to speak her mind, so we weren't too shocked when she absolutely SLAMMED superhero movies and claimed they were sexist!

The only thing is, she's about to be IN a superhero movie!!

While recently dishing about her upcoming flick, Suicide Squad, Cara talked about how ladies are poorly represented in the superhero genre! She said:

"Female superheroes are normally naked or in bikinis. No one would be able to fight like that. Wonder Woman, how the hell does she fight? She would be dead in a minute."

Preach, sister!!!

[ Related: The First Look At Supergirl Has Arrived & It Looks AWESOME! Watch & Share Your Reaction HERE! ]

Sexism in the superhero/comic book genre goes back for DECADES and many have complained that female characters are often overly sexualized compared to their male counterparts!

It's hard to argue when the tagline for 2004's Catwoman might as well have been "Come see Halle Berry in a sexy leather suit!"

However, we are seeing little bits of progress here and there! For example, Supergirl's outfit turned out to be surprisingly functional and Agent Carter was even picked up for a second season! But sadly both of these are TV shows and NOT films like Cara mentioned!

So naturally we have to ask, what do you think about sexism in superhero movies? Have we made ANY progress over the years?? Sound off in the comments!

Halle Berry In Awe of Daughter Nahla’s ‘Philanthropic Heart’

Halle Berry Revlon
Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic

As far as maternal pride goes, Halle Berry has little reason to be restrained.

The Extant actress shared last month that, after taking her daughter on a trip to Nicaragua in support of the World Food Program, Nahla decided to send many of her toys to the impoverished children of the country. The 7-year-old also began running a lemonade stand several times a month to raise money for needy kids.

Her daughter’s preternatural empathy and ability to look beyond her own privilege have surprised and inspired the Academy Award-winning actress.

“I feel really proud as a mother that that’s where her mind is at 7 years old,” the mother of two, 48, told PEOPLE Wednesday while attending a Revlon luncheon in Beverly Hills in support of UCLA’s women’s cancer research program.

“What I loved about that was that it made her philanthropic heart just burst open, and now she’s thinking more about how she can help others, and not what doll she’s going to get next — she’s thinking about who she can give that doll to.”

After confirming that Nahla does actually make the lemonade for the lemonade stand herself, the Revlon ambassador and long-time spokesperson — and perennial fixture on PEOPLE’s World’s Most Beautiful list — gave some simple advice to young people who find themselves inundated with the pressures of fitting into any societal conceptions of beauty.

“Just love yourself as you are,” Berry said. “Try to stay healthy, exercise, don’t do drugs or alcohol and love yourself. That’s my advice, whatever shape or size you are.”
