Kristin Cavallari Says Jay Cutler Committed ‘Inappropriate Marital Conduct,’ Whatever the Hell That Means
Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari is divorcing her husband, former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. The pair have been married almost seven years and were together almost a decade and they have three kids. It’s sad, but I can’t focus on that because the reason Cavallari gave for wanting a divorce is blowing my mind.
According to TMZ, she said Cutler “is guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.”
I don’t know what she means. Is this like a sex thing? It sounds like a weird sex thing, right? She also put in a pre-emptive “no, you” in case Cutler accused her of misconduct, which he didn’t, saying “any misconduct alleged or implied against her in the complaint for divorce was in response to and/or as a result of misconduct on behalf of the Husband.”
What misconduct? What happened that it’s unsafe to cohabitate?
According to People, an insider says… nothing.
“On their recent trip, they already knew they were splitting up,” the source said. “Kristin and Jay had been having problems for a long time. They hadn’t spent much time together in recent months.”
The source also said the breakup had “absolutely nothing to do” with the rumor that Cutler had an affair with Cavallari’s ex-BFF, Kelly Henderson. According to the source, Cavallari and Cutler are simply very “different” and grew apart.
“She has so much on her plate, with her brands and with the show,” the source said. “Jay is not as interested in all of that. She’s so passionate about her work and they couldn’t relate to each other as much. So it pulled them apart.”
Apparently this misconduct was not giving a shit about her clothes or towels or whatever she’s selling. That’s something basically one hundred percent of spouses are guilty of.
She also made some big demands, asking for primary custody of the kids, child support, Jay paying for their healthcare on top of the child support (because we don’t have single payer yet for some reason) and she wants Jay to have a life insurance policy with her as the sole beneficiary. Yeah, that’s a smart move, give your ex-wife a huge payday if you die. She’s absolutely not going to put ground glass in your rice pilaf, right?
The post Kristin Cavallari Says Jay Cutler Committed ‘Inappropriate Marital Conduct,’ Whatever the Hell That Means appeared first on The Blemish.
Throughout a turbulent NFL career, Jay Cutler became known for often throwing the ball to the other team.
Now, as we just found out, the former All-Pro quarterback will soon be going out with other women.
Because he and Kristin Cavallari are filing for divorce.
The athlete and the long-time MTV personality took fans by surprise by announce their split Sunday via Instagram.
“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” Cavallari captioned a photo (below) of the pair.
“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of.
"This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
The pair got married in 2013 and share sons Camden, 7, Jaxon, 5, and daughter Saylor, 4.
Their lives were chronicled on the reality series Very Cavallari, which premiered in 2018 and ran for 30 episodes on E!.
As far as we know, the split is not due to any rumors of infidelity on either side.
At the moment it really does appear as if the reality star and ex-Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins signal-caller's romance merely fizzled out.
Cavallari rose to fame as a cast member on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.
She then starred opposite Lauren Conrad on The Hills, usually feuding with the fan favorite.
After moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career in 2005 -- which never really came to fruition -- Cavallari appeared in numerous television programs as minor characters.
Since 2018, as mentioned above, she has starred in her own realty TV show, Very Cavallari.
It's uncler right now whether the show will air a second season that focuses on her single life.
Cutler, for his part, was a professional quarterback for 12 seasons.
He had an up and down career, falling short overall of the expectations many had for him after stellar run under center at Vanderbilt university.
He retired following the 2017 season.
Cavallari and Cutler live in Nashville, but had been chronicling their self-isolation (due to Covid-19) in the Bahamas over the last few weeks with their children.
They finally went home last Monday, however, once they were able to find a flight.
Cutler, meanwhile, also shared a photo of himself and his estranged wife on Instagram and posted the same message as Cavallari did above.
We wish nothing but the best for each star as they forge ahead.
You guys may not know this because, well, it’s just not the kind of information the male mind retains, but Kristin Cavallari has a lifestyle brand called Uncommon James. While that may sound like a rapper, it isn’t, it’s a lifestyle brand. What the fuck is a lifestyle brand, you wonder? It’s one of those things where a celebrity sits around and hocks expensive shit no one needs, like Gwyenth Paltrow’s Goop horseshit.
The only reason I mention this is that she recently did a topless photo shoot to promote her brand because, frankly, what else are you gonna do for publicity these days. There’s some behind the scenes snapshots in the gallery below, and you may be so inclined as to check them out if you’re interested in seeing Kristin Cavallari topless.
Now, I’m being very careful not to say that you see Kristin Cavallari’s tits. You don’t. She’s covering them/has her back to the camera in all of these pictures, so don’t go in expecting a nipple or even a full breast. That’s not part of Kristin Cavallari’s lifestyle brand. Maybe one day it will be. That’s what these celebs should do, sell nude photos at exorbitant prices. That might actually move some units, if you catch my drift.

It seems Kristin Cavallari has one important thing in common with millions of Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins fans:
She shares their opinion that Jay Cutler sucks!
Of course, Cavallari's view has nothing to do with Cutler's performance on the field, or his behavior in post-game press conferences.
Allow us to explain:
The second season of Kristen's reality show, Very Cavallari, is soon to come to an end, and while that might not generate as much excitement as, say, the final episodes of Game of Thrones the series apparently contains plot twists every bit as shocking as the Red Wedding.
For example, we learn that Jay's sucking skills are so sophisticated he can use them to save a life!
It seems that while she was breastfeeding, Kristin suffered from a severely clogged milk duct.
"Major clogged ducts," she tells her friends in the clip above.
"Jay had to get them out for me, sucking harder than he’s ever sucked ... and you know what? Saved my life."
Yes, Jay Cutler saved a freaking life with his oral nipple-manipulating abilities.
Sure, during his NFL career, Cutler was a bit of a choke artist, and a hangnail was enough to sideline the guy for a playoff game, but have any of your elite QBs ever performed life-saving mouth-to-boob resuscitation?
Would Tom Brady be ready hoover a Gisele nip in the event of a lactic malfunction?
We think not!
Can you expect Aaron Rodgers to apply tongue and teeth as needed to rescue Danica Patrick's jugs from a career-ending wreck?
Ha! The only dairy product that diva's interested in is the cheese atop the heads of the Lambeau faithful.
No, when it comes to restoring the healthy flow of life-giving mammary juice, you need a workhorse like Mr. Fourth Quarter himself.
Of course, it's not all sucked ducts and rainbows in the Cutler-Cavallari household.
The trailer also features some darker moments, like when Kristin accused Jay of failing to encourage her in following her dreams.
"When you were playing football, I had to give up my whole life," she says to him at one point.
"I don't feel that same support from you."
Far be it for us to stand up for Jay freakin' Cutler -- a man who spent his entire career wishing he could somehow make millions playing for a league with zero fans -- but we feel the need to point out that the duct incident should buy him at least a few weeks of consequence-free douchiness.
It's really all he's ever wanted.
There was one lady that everyone was talking about after the Golden Globes, and no, it wasn’t Jamie Lee Curtis looking like she was auditioning to star as the villain in a dystopian YA movie…
No, it was Kellen Cuthbert, aka the Fiji Water girl who happily photobombed celebrities throughout the evening while offering up some delicious Fiji Water to slake their red carpet thirst.
Kellen is quite the hottie and managed to upstage such beauties as Amy Adams, Emmy Rossum, Lili Reinhart, Kristin Cavallari, Kaley Cuoco, Heidi Klum, Alyssa Milano, and yes, even the aforementioned Jamie Lee Curtis, who was apparently none too happy that Kellen upstaged her Activia eating ass.
I definitely like anyone that takes pleasure in their work, and Kellen is clearly someone who relishes stealing the spotlight from celebrities. Good on her, those dusty old hags have gotten enough publicity already. Make way for some new blood, and also quench your Golden Globes sized thirst with a cool, refreshing Fiji Water.

Kristin Cavallari on Fitting in Date Nights with Jay Cutler: ‘We Have to Work on It Like Everyone Else’
But the twosome still make sure to find time for just each other, even though doing so isn’t a simple task.
“It’s hard because by the time they all go to bed at night we are so exhausted,” the former Laguna Beach cast member told PEOPLE on Saturday at the Carousel of Hope Ball in Beverly Hills, California.
“We try to make date night regular, but it doesn’t happen as often as we would like, especially now that he’s in the football season, so he’s really busy,” says Cavallari, 29, adding candidly, “I wish I had some secret I could tell you. I don’t. We have to work on it like everyone else.”

Considering fitting time in for just the couple can be tricky, it’s probably a good thing Cavallari’s opinion of a perfect date night isn’t too intricate.
“Go to dinner,” she says when asked what the ritual consists of. “Then I’m like, ‘Okay, I have to be in bed by 10.’ If we can have a glass of wine and actually talk for five minutes, that’s ideal.”
Cavallari and Cutler, 33, are parents to daughter Saylor James, 10 months, and sons Jaxon Wyatt, 2, and Camden Jack, 4. The model and author shares that each of her children are currently hitting exciting milestones — along with some challenges too.
“Camdens in school five days a week now, and he loves it. Which makes me kind of sad because he’s my baby,” she admits. “He’s really coming into his own. He has a very strong personality and he was so shy as a baby, so that’s been really cool to see.”
“Jaxon, my middle child, is just trying to learn how to ride a bike right now,” the busy mom says. “He’s in school a couple of days a week.”
Cavallari says “Terrible Twos” were more like “Terrible Threes” with Camden, but that her younger son is her “tough cookie.”
“[Jaxon] is the one that never sits still, will throw a tantrum over nothing, and literally you can’t stop him until he just has to work it out of his system. There is nothing you can do,” she explains. “He’s my typical boy, climbing on everything. Just doesn’t stop.”
“Where Camden, my oldest, is really mellow for a boy, which is a shock,” Cavallari continues.
“Saylor, my daughter, is just the easiest, best baby on the planet,” she says. “I don’t know how we got this lucky. Put her down, she is content the rest of the day. She hasn’t made a peep since the night before I was going to sleep train her. She slept through the night on her own.”
The mom of three admits Saylor didn’t get that mellow behavior from her, though.
“I was the worst baby too, so I don’t know,” Cavallari says. “[Saylor] goes to bed at 7 p.m. and wakes up [at] 8:45 or 9. She takes two naps. Jaxon was tough, though, we paid our dues with him.”

Small victories are worth celebrating, especially when a teething baby is involved.

“Nice to see a smile on this girl’s face after over a month of nonstop teething. 4 new ones are through though! Phews…,” Cavallari, 29, captioned the photo. In the adorable flick, mother and daughter both smile widely as the former Hills star holds her baby in the air.
Whether it’s sharing her teething journey or breastfeeding on vacation, the mother of three — Camden Jack, 4, Jaxon Wyatt, 2, and Saylor — consistently puts mommy life on display on her social media accounts, which makes perfect sense as Cavallari has said in the past that motherhood has given her purpose.
“There’s just so much more love in your life,” she told Modeliste Magazine about having multiple children. “I finally feel like I have a real identity. I feel like I have a purpose here in life now. I’m a mom to these three amazing little babies, and my whole world just kind of opened up.”
“She’s my last baby,” the reality star told PEOPLE at the re-launch of her jewelry line Emerald Duv in May. “So I’m just trying to enjoy every second.”
Happy birthday, Camden Jack!
Kristin Cavallari‘s oldest child turned 4 years old on Monday. And to celebrate his milestone, the Laguna Beach alum posted an adorable photo to Instagram showing the twosome engaged in a sweet mommy-son smooch.
“Happy 4th birthday to the sweetest soul I know, my little Cammers,” the stylish mom of three, 29, wrote next to the shot by photographer Torrey West. “I CANNOT believe it’s been 4 years!”

“There’s just so much more love in your life. I finally feel like I have a real identity,” the model and author said for the June 2016 issue of Modeliste Magazine of how motherhood has changed her for the better.
“I feel like I have a purpose here in life now,” she added. “I’m a mom to these three amazing little babies, and my whole world just kind of opened up.”
“When you finally have kids, you realize how selfish you are,” the former star of The Hills added at the time. “I think we are naturally selfish beings. When you have kids, that can be kind of a shock at first.”

Mama bears have to stick together.
“I will never know why parents criticize others so harshly, knowing they’d go insane if they were on the receiving end ALLTHETIME,” Teigen, 30, tweeted in response to an article about the incident.

“Even though we’re not in the states, were [sic] still celebrating hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th! #MyGuys,” the former Laguna Beach star captioned the photo of the boys playing with snorkeling gear in matching swim trunks.
Soon, social media users began flooding the star’s comment section, writing that the children looked too skinny.
“I understand you live a very strict dietary lifestyle but these children are very obviously nutritionally deficient,” one Instagram user wrote.
Cavallari shut down her critics with one response: “Yep, I starve my children. Just blocked the most people I’ve ever blocked in my entire life. Happy 4th hahaha.”
Cavallari welcomed her third child, 7-month-old Saylor James , with husband Jay Cutler in November.
Although Cavallari is a seasoned celebrity mother, Teigen is experiencing life as a first-time mom in the public eye — and she’s dealt with her fair share of mommy shamers.

Teigen addressed the critics in a tweet, writing, “I went to dinner. People are pissed. Good morning!”
She later addressed the controversy during an appearance on Good Morning America, saying, “I knew mommy-shaming was a thing, but I didn’t think it would come from going to dinner.”
Before little Luna’s birth, Teigen told PEOPLE that although she wouldn’t “hide” the baby from her fans, she wasn’t looking forward to the negative attention she’d likely receive.
“I’m not ready for people’s comments. That’s more of what it is,” she said. “It’s not like I don’t want to show her or that I’m hiding.”
Kristin Cavallari is a mom, actress, style icon — and cover star!
For the June 2016 issue of Modeliste Magazine, the 29-year-old former star of The Hills and Laguna Beach dished on her new book Balancing in Heels, and her life as mom to sons Jaxon Wyatt, 2, and Camden Jack, 3½, as well as daughter Saylor James, 6 months.
“I think the hardest part of being a working mom is that I miss my kids a lot. I live in Chicago, but my work is always in New York or L.A., so I always have to travel for my job,” says Cavallari, who has been married to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, 33, since 2013.
She adds that FaceTime “helps a lot,” and that “when you finally have kids, you realize how selfish you are. I think we are naturally selfish beings. When you have kids, that can be kind of a shock at first.”

But that doesn’t mean the mom of three doesn’t still try to prioritize “me time” — it’s just a bit more challenging nowadays.
“I think just trying to make time for yourself is very hard,” she says. “Especially now that I have three [kids], finding that time can be very difficult.”
But it’s all worth it for Cavallari, who says that the most rewarding part about having kids is how much her love has multiplied.
“There’s just so much more love in your life. I finally feel like I have a real identity,” the model and author says. “I feel like I have a purpose here in life now. I’m a mom to these three amazing little babies, and my whole world just kind of opened up.”
“I work out with a trainer three to four times a week, and I just do weight training. I don’t do any cardio,” Cavallari says. “For me, it’s just about building muscle and maintaining the little muscle that I have.”
She adds, “The more muscle you have, the more fat you burn.”
The nutrition-conscious Cavallari confesses that she “loves to cook” for her family so much that she does so almost every evening.
“I’m really hoping to do a cookbook,” she says, adding that though she does splurge from time to time, “90 percent of the stuff that [she makes] would be healthy.”
And of course, her family — which she has said in the past she is done growing — is first on her list of items she’d bring to a deserted island. The other two? Tunes and protection from the sun.
“I need music in my life … and probably a hat, because I wouldn’t want to get sunburned,” she says.

“She’s my last baby,” Cavallari, 29, told PEOPLE while celebrating the re-launch of her Emerald Duv jewelry line in West Hollywood on Tuesday. “So I’m just trying to enjoy every second.”
The shoe and jewelry designer says her favorite time of day is putting Saylor to bed.
“Every night I go and I feed her in her room before she goes to bed, and then I rock her,” she says. “She always falls asleep on my shoulder. Every night, I swear I’m in there for 20 minutes just holding her because I really love that moment, and I really love having my little baby. That just totally fills me up every night.”
“It’s a lot of fun, I’ve got to say,” she says. “I’m very into the bows and the dresses — any excuse to get dressed up, and she has on a nice party dress!”
And so far, the 5-month-old has been a very easy baby.
“She is the most chill, laid back, happy baby I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” says Cavallari. “We are so lucky.”
But she believes having a well-behaved baby is karma for having a not-so-easy middle child.
“My second one was not very easy, so we paid our dues with him and now we are very lucky to have such an easy girl,” Cavallari jokes. “Although I know later in life girls are much harder, so I’m just going to enjoy every moment while she’s easy right now!”

A mama’s gotta do, what a mama’s gotta do.
Kristin Cavallari did double duty as she lounged by the pool and pumped while on vacation.
“Thank you @inspirato for this gorgeous view while I pump #DutyCalls #Inspirato,” the mom of three wrote on Instagram, tagging the private vacation club which boasts locations across the globe.
In the snap, Cavallari sits in a pool chair posing with her breast pump, as she dons a striped bikini, which shows off her already amazing post-baby body.
The former reality star welcomed her third child with NFL hubby Jay Cutler in November.
“Saylor James Cutler was born today at 1:32 p.m.,” she announced on Instagram as the parents welcomed their first daughter.
Cavallari and Cutler are also parents to Jaxon Wyatt, almost 2, and Camden Jack, 3.
Kristin Cavallari is officially off-duty.
During an appearance on Maria Menounos’ SiriusXM show, Cavallari replied to the host’s question if the Chicago Bears quarterback will undergo a vasectomy with only a laugh and “Oh, we’ll see.”
“My philosophy is: we have to push the babies out. We are the ones that have to go through everything, so you can do one little thing and get snipped,” Cavallari told Menounos.
The former reality star, 29, and Cutler share sons Camden Jack, 3½, and Jaxon Wyatt, 22 months, and daughter Saylor James, 4 months.
“I’ve pushed three babies out of the ‘ol hoo-ha, I’ve done enough,” Cavallari joked on Wednesday, adding, that despite going through labor, “Jay says everything’s normal” when it comes to the star’s unmentionables.
She adds of childbirth, “It is a miracle, I have to say, the human body is amazing.”
“Seeing your partner as a great father is the best feeling in the world. When a man is involved and changes diapers without being asked, you know you’ve found a good one. That’s Jay,” she wrote.

Kristin Cavallari Sounds Off on Her Kids’ Unorthodox Diet: I’m a ‘Psycho About Reading Every Single Label’
Kristin Cavallari‘s mommy philosophy puts nutrition first.
In her new book Balancing in Heels, the former Laguna Beach star opens up about her family’s clean eating and the food rules she and her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, put in place for sons Camden Jack, 3, and Jaxon Wyatt, 22 months, and daughter Saylor James, almost 4 months.
“Once I stopped breastfeeding each kid and we ran out of stock of my frozen breast milk, we put them on a homemade goat milk formula (both grew out of their dairy sensitivity by then),” she writes.
“I’m not a fan of of soy (it’s usually genetically modified; more about that later), and both Cam and Jax have sensitivities to cow’s milk — and unfortunately, soy and cow’s milk are the only two options for store-bought formula available right now. Goat’s milk is the closest thing out there to human breast milk. Plus, it is more easily digested than cow’s or soy milk. Giving goat’s milk to children is popular in Europe and other parts of the world. Goat’s milk is not enough, though, so Jay and I, along with our pediatrician, came up with a formula recipe for our kids.”

Cavallari, 29, takes a staunch stance against GMOs, dedicating pages of her book to explaining why she’s “become a psycho about reading every single ingredient label and researching the ingredients I don’t recognize.”
“GMOs are linked to digestive problems, among other things,” she explains. “Antibiotics and growth hormone are other additives being excessively pumped into the animals we are eating, which means we’re then consuming these excess antibiotics and hormones. And some processed foods actually contain toxic chemicals, often used to prevent spoilage and enhance flavor. I truly believe that everything I need to flourish nutritionally is found in nature and that some stuff just shouldn’t be messed with, especially the food I’m putting in my body.”
She says eating mostly organic and only wild-caught fish or grass-fed beef has also helped Cutler manage his type 1 diabetes — and keep her kids well.
“His insulin use is down, and he’s off his blood pressure medication. And he looks the best he ever has: His weight is ideal and his skin is clear. I really believe that my family’s infrequency of getting sick is due to our diet.”
And the shoe designer credits having an involved husband by her side to her success in raising three children.
“Seeing your partner as a great father is the best feeling in the world. When a man is involved and changes diapers without being asked, you know you’ve found a good one. That’s Jay,” she writes. “He’s been hands-on since day 1 and didn’t think twice about it. That’s been incredibly attractive. I love seeing the man I love, love being a father.”
As a football player, Cutler travels a lot during the season, so Cavallari offers tips on how to keep marriage spicy: eating a candlelit dinner together at home no matter what’s on the menu, sending steamy pictures (with your face cropped out in case of a hack) and, yes, sexting.
“I’ve been known to sext from time to time. Gotta do whatcha gotta do!” she says. “Even if it means you are doing five other things at the same time and just going along with it for your man.”

The Balancing in Heels author enjoyed a sweet moment with her 9-week-old daughter Saylor James, on Thursday — the first time the former reality star been able to hold the baby by herself since the accident that left her elbow dislocated.
“Morning snuggles with my girl. First time I’ve been able to hold her by myself in a week,” Cavallari wrote on Instagram, adding the hashtags “#GirlsTrip #LA.”

Saylor, who was born in November, wore a cute pink onesie and snuggled into her mother’s chest.
On Jan. 21, Cavallari, who also shares sons Camden Jack, 3, and Jaxon Wyatt, 20 months, with her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, was hospitalized after she was hit by another driver in Chicago.
It appears that some one-on-one time with her little girl was just what Cavallari needed.

Today, authorities found the body of 30-year-old Michael Cavallari, older brother of Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari.
Kristin posted a touching photo of herself and Michael as young kids, with this message:
"My heart is in a million pieces Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh," Kristin wrote.
"You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP."
TMZ reports that Michael's remains were found around 10:30 am local time today in a "steep and very rocky" area.
"We have just been informed by the authorities my brother's body has been found," Kristin said in a statement to the site.
"This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all."
Michael was reported missing three days ago, but his car was found abandoned on November 27th. The San Clemente, CA native has a history of substance abuse, and had a few run-ins with the police this past fall.
Kristin Cavallari has a pretty good reason for missing her 10-year high school reunion.
On Sunday, the Laguna Beach alum showed off the new addition to the Cutler family, Saylor James, in an adorable Instagram snap.
“Really sad about missing my 10 year high school reunion last night … so many people I wanted to see … but at least I have a good excuse,” Cavallari, 28, captioned the pic.

Cavallari said in August that she and Cutler, 32, were grappling with having three children or four — although there are no immediate plans to become a family of six.
“Before we had children, Jay and I both wanted four, and now we’re thinking three, but we’re just going to have to see how it goes,” she told Michigan Avenue magazine.
“Right now the last thing on my mind is having another baby, but it is a ton of fun.”

The ratio of girls to boys is almost even in Kristin Cavallari's house.
Today, the reality star and shoe designer gave birth to a girl, Saylor James Cutler, at 1:32 pm local time.
Saylor James is Cavallari's third child with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. The couple have two boys, Camden, 3, and Jax, 18 months.
Cavallari Instagram'd a photo of Cutler massaging her feet in hopes that it would send her into labor.
"Let's see if these trigger points really work," Cavallari said.
The family revealed in July that a girl would be joining their squad. Cavallari held a pair of pink sneakers while hugging Cutler.
"The boys are so excited to have a little sister on the way!!! "Cavallari told fans.
Kristin Cavallari Says She and Husband Jay Cutler Go to Therapy ‘Consistently’: ‘It’s Been Extremely Beneficial for Our Relationship’
Preparing for baby number three while already managing two toddlers is stressful for any couple. But Kristin Cavallari says she and husband Jay Cutler have a strategy to keep their marriage strong: therapy — and lots of it.
“I’m not ashamed to say that Jay and I consistently go to therapy,” Cavallari, 28, tells American Baby for its December/January cover story. “It’s been extremely beneficial for our relationship.”
Like Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, who said therapy is key to their “healthy” marriage, Cavallari says the time she and her NFL player-husband spend on the couch teaches them the tools to disagree effectively.
“For example, when you’re fighting you should never place blame on your partner by saying, ‘you do this’ or ‘you do that,’ ” she explains. “You should say how those actions make you feel. It goes a long way.”
The couple are preparing for their first girl who will join big brothers Camden Jack, 3, and Jaxon Wyatt, 18 months — and the reality star turned fashion and jewelry designer says she can’t wait to see her husband fall for their little girl.
“She’s going to steal Jay’s heart, which will in turn melt mine!” she declares. “I’m excited for the boys to grow up with a sister. I think it will help them to better understand and respect women.”
For now, Cavallari says she’s helping them better understand themselves, which starts with trying to tune in to their needs when they start melting down.
“It would be easy to get frustrated and start yelling, but I find that what a kid really needs is a hug. I’ll say, ‘Buddy, what’s going on?’ That’s more effective than me scolding him or throwing him in a time-out.”
She also says the boys are very different from one another — and she’s ready for their little girl to be an individual, too.
“My two boys are opposites. Camden was such an easy baby. Jaxon is more of our rebel wild child, but he’s also a mama’s boy,” she explains. “Our little girl will have her own personality. I know I can’t change who they are. It’s important to let kids be themselves and to let them make mistakes. Self-discovery goes a long way.”

Kristin Cavallari Says Motherhood’s Challenging During Football Season: I Make Dinner with a Baby on My Hip
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No! It’s Super Mommy!
With football season now in full swing, Kristin Cavallari is throwing on her cape and keeping a strict routine when it comes to raising her two children, sons Jaxon Wyatt, 16 months, and Camden Jack, 3, with husband Jay Cutler.
“We’re used to having Jay around a lot for the last few months,” the television personality turned designer, 28, told PEOPLE of the 32-year-old Chicago Bears quarterback while at the Kristin Cavallari for Chinese Laundry shoe preview in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
“In the mornings, now, I’m by myself with the boys. I like the mornings with the boys, so I don’t mind that.”
Courtesy Chinese Laundry
“Cooking dinner, for me, is a little bit harder because Wednesdays and Thursdays, Jay doesn’t get home until around 5:15 p.m., and we usually eat around 5:45 p.m.,” she explains.
“I’m usually having to make dinner and it can be tough those nights because Jaxon, especially, needs a lot of attention. I’m usually holding him on one hip while I’m trying to cook.”
But the couple’s older son is all about Daddy — especially when he’s out on the football field.
“It’s really cute,” Cavallari says. “He’s really into [football] now and he tackles Jaxon — which is not good — but I’ve been taking him to the games and he’s been having a lot of fun.”
But Camden has picked up on one of Mommy’s quirks, as well.
“I swear a lot, so that’s been tough for me, but I’m trying really hard,” Cavallari admits.
“Camden said the F-word once. He said it like, ‘Mommy, why did you say f—?’ so he didn’t just say it for no reason. It really makes you catch yourself and make you be aware of what you’re saying all the time.”
“I just discovered that Zara makes little girl clothes, and oh my God, their stuff is amazing. I just ordered a bunch and I’m hanging everything up in her closet now — of course, it’s all pinks and purples,” she shares. “I finally got her first little tutu, so we’re definitely having fun.”
Lucky for Cavallari, her pregnancy this time around has been “the exact same” as it was with the boys — aside from one notable difference.
“I feel like I’m carrying slightly higher, so there must be some truth to [what] they say, you lose your shape with girls because you carry them higher and have no waist anymore,” the mom-to-be explains

“We picked out this baby girl’s name when I was pregnant with our first,” the star tells Cricket’s Circle. “I met a woman and her dog, and I loved her dog’s name. Funny enough, it was the name she had picked out if she had a girl, but she had boys, so she used it for her dog instead.”
The 28 year old — whose new book, Balancing in Heels, will be released in March — covered a variety of topics in the wide-ranging interview, including how she tries to find an ever-elusive work-life balance.
“Once I had kids, I made a conscious decision to make them my top priority,” Cavallari explains. “I want to take them to school, to mommy-and-me music class — I want to be there.”
She continues, “This means I can’t take on as many business endeavors, which has actually helped my career. I have to love and wholeheartedly believe in anything I do, which is a really great feeling.”
The former Laguna Beach star and Cutler, who is a quarterback for the Chicago Bears, “swap roles” depending on his football schedule. Cavallari stays home during the NFL season, and then, when Cutler’s off, he cares for their children while she travels and focuses on work.
“It’s just worked out this way timing-wise, which has been amazing,” she explains.
Cavallari also reveals the best mommy advice she’s ever gotten was from her own mother: Kids do as you do, not as you say.
“I really try hard to set a good example and practice what I preach, which can be hard,” she shares. “She also swears that I’m going to miss the hard days, so I try to find the comedy in tough moments. My trick for keeping your cool is to act like someone’s watching you and evaluating you as a parent.”
Although challenging, those “hard days” are also sometimes unforgettable. Cavallari admits one of her greatest mom fails came during a flight with her firstborn — without any extra help or a spare set of clothes.
“Camden had always been a rockstar flier. I was flying with him solo to L.A. one time while he was teething, and he projectile vomited everywhere,” she recalls.
“Of course, I didn’t have a change of clothes for him or me, so we sat in our puke clothes for HOURS. It was awful.”

It’s a sheer thing: Pregnant Kristin Cavallari isn’t about to miss out on fashion week!
The mom-to-be — who’s expecting her third child — stepped out Wednesday night for The Blonds show in New York City.
As if attending New York Fashion Week while pregnant isn’t impressive enough, the reality star turned designer opted to dress her bump up in a shimmery, semi-sheer H&M top and maxi skirt set that showed off her budding baby belly.
And the daring look continued right down to her footwear: Cavallari, 28, opted for black sky-high platform heels to match her purse.
She wore her long blonde locks pulled back in a low ponytail. “Close up of the hair. Put mah weave in guuuurl,” she captioned a close up of her ‘do on Instagram.
“The boys are so excited to have a sister,” she wrote when announcing the sex of their baby on the way.

Kristin Cavallari has a few tricks (or treats!) up her sleeve.
In a fun photo posted to Instagram on Thursday, the mom-to-be can be seen spending quality time with the furry members of her family.
“Their begging skills are on point,” Cavallari, 29, captioned the picture of herself standing in the kitchen as the two pups stare intently at a few snacks.
In a second snapshot, the expectant actress shows off her baby belly in a striped maxi dress while posing with her newest pooch.

Although the reality star turned fashion designer has joked about living with a brood of boys — “Because 2 boys under the age of 3 weren’t enough,” she wrote on Instagram in March after adding the German shepherd to the family — she’ll soon be seeing plenty of pink.
“The boys are so excited to have a little sister on the way!” she wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of the couple and a pink pair of Converse sneakers.

Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari are thinking pink.
The couple revealed the sex of their third child on the Kristin Cavallari Official app Thursday, sharing a photo themselves with a pair of pink Converse sneakers.
“The boys are so excited to have a little sister on the way!” the reality star turned designer, 28, captioned the photo.
“We’re at it again!” she said at the time. “The Cutler crew keeps on growin’!”
The family has been enjoying time together during the football offseason — they’re currently in Cutler’s hometown of Santa Claus, Indiana, visiting relatives and taking a trip to Holiday World.

And that she'll be popping out baby #3 later this year!

"Pumping in airport bathrooms. Feel like I JUST put all my pumping essentials away won't be long before I'm at it again. #TBT #goodtimes #gottadowhatyagottado."
Aww! The struggle is real, girl!

The 28-year-old Kristin Cavallari is basking in the glow of her latest pregnancy. And her bikini body, which is just sublime, bump or no bump.
The former Laguna Beach cast member dons a wide-brimmed hat and black and white two-piece in the photo, which makes us fall to pieces.
Seriously ... can she make pregnancy look any hotter?!
Cavallari cradled her bump by the pool, where the mother of Camden, 2, and Jax, 13 months, was celebrating a friend’s bachelorette party.
The wife of Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler wrote:
“Had the best weekend for @char_major 's bachelorette! Even though I was the first one in bed it was a blast @chelseabulte @brookebaker_,”
Cavallari announced her third pregnancy in May.
She wrote on her official site: “We’re at it again! Thrilled to announce baby number 3 is on the way! The cutler crew just keeps on growin’!”
Not unlike Jay's anxiety levels / list of critics / interception totals.
Bump, there it is!
On Sunday, Kristin Cavallari took to Instagram to show off her burgeoning baby belly in a tiny two-piece while attending a pal’s bachelorette party.
The 28-year-old Hills and Laguna Beach star — who announced in May that she and her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, were adding a third child to their team — sported a black bikini top and white bottoms while having some fun in the sun with friends.
“Had the best weekend,” Cavallari wrote alongside a photo of her celebrating poolside in Ojai, California. “Even though I was the first one in bed, it was a blast.”

In a second shot, Cavallari cradles her stomach while wearing a brown hat and standing in front of a shimmering pool.
Cavallari and Cutler, 32, are already parents to sons Jaxon Wyatt, 13 months, and Camden Jack, 2½.

Jay Cutler will return to the Bears next season which means his contract is still intact. Realizing this, Kristin Cavallari has now double-downed, er, triple-downed on future child support payments should Cutler ever get cut and Cavallari decides to move on to more active rosters.
Both are already parents to Jaxon Wyatt, 1, and Camden Jack, 2. In 8 months, they’ll have yet another child with two first names.
Cavallari announced the news via her app. Yea, this chick has an app in the app store. I’m not sure what it does exactly as the app description is merely her bio laden with what I can only assume are sarcastic comments such as claiming she’s had “exceptional performances in feature films, primetime programs and America’s favorite talent competition, Dancing With the Stars.”
Jay Cutler may not be very popular in Chicago these days.
But at least his sperm is still wanted by Kristin Cavallari's eggs!
Indeed, the embattled quarterback and the former reality star are expecting their third child together!
Taking to her app, Kristin Cavallari Official, the ex-Hills beauty revealed that she is pregnant by posing in front of her two previous children, making a heart symbol around her belly and writing:
"We’re at it again! Thrilled to announce baby number 3 is on the way! The cutler crew just keeps on growin."
Cavallari and Cutler are already parents to Camden, 2, and Jaxon, 12 months.
“Camden is a really good big brother,” Cavallari told Us Weekly at a charity gala on May 9, adding:
"He's very protective and very sweet, But he also gets a little upset when Jax tries to take his toys and messes with his stuff. He gets a little territorial with some stuff, so it's kind of funny."
So cute! And we're so very happy for this couple, along with the other stars expecting a child in 2015.
Make room in the den: Kristin Cavallari is pregnant again!
The former reality star is expecting her third child with her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, she announced Monday on the Kristin Cavallari Official app.
“We’re at it again! Thrilled to announce baby number 3 is on the way! The Cutler crew keeps on growin’!” she wrote alongside a photo of her making a heart over her belly.
The couple are already parents to sons Jaxon Wyatt, 1, and Camden Jack, 2 — both of whom joined their mama in her special snapshot.
Prior to their wedding in June 2013, Cavallari, 28, had said she and Cutler, 32, were looking forward to having two more children after their summer nuptials.
“We want four kids, so we’re thinking maybe have one more, then get married, then have two more, but we’ll see, it all depends on how the first one goes,” she told Glamoholic in 2012 while pregnant with her first son.

But as of August, the fashion designer admitted that there were no immediate plans to get pregnant.
“Before we had children, Jay and I both wanted four, and now we’re thinking three, but we’re just going to have to see how it goes,” she told Michigan Avenue magazine. “Right now the last thing on my mind is having another baby, but it is a ton of fun.”
