Brett Young’s Baby Makes a Surprise Appearance on His New Single: ‘She Was a Little Musician Before She Knew It’

Before you even hear Brett Young‘s first tender words on his new single, “Lady,” you hear something else: the steady rhythm of his daughter Presley‘s fetal heartbeat, recorded during a doctor’s visit when Young’s wife, Taylor, was just two months pregnant.

“Yeah, she was a little musician before she knew it,” Young, chuckling, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

But then it’s only fitting that Presley gets to upstage Dad a little since it is, after all, a song that she inspired.

“I always knew I would want to write songs for my children,” says the 39-year-old artist — but this song, released Friday, is much more than that. It’s also a love letter to his wife, an expression of hope that his daughter will one day follow in the footsteps of the woman he calls “Lady.”

And not in the Jerry Lewis “Hey, Laaaaadeeeee” way, Young is quick to set straight. It’s actually one of his affectionate nicknames for Taylor — “kind of a joke between me and my wife,” he says — so it was only natural, when the couple learned they were having a girl, that Young began calling their unborn daughter “Little Lady.”

He brought that snippet of an idea into the songwriters’ room last July with Jon Nite and Ross Copperman, and once they landed on the concept, the process “happened really, really fast,” recalls Young, who’s just celebrated his sixth consecutive No. 1 with “Catch.”

After Copperman worked up a quick demo, Young drove home to share the recording with his pregnant wife.

“And of course I couldn’t wait,” he recalls. “So I sent it to her, and of course I missed the part where she was apparently sobbing and weeping listening to it.”

Not that the tears have ever ended. Once he got home, Young says, they wept as they listened to the song together for the first time. “Actually,” he adds, “I think she would agree that she probably still gets teared up every time she hears it.”

Granting that “it’s okay for the world to know I’m a softie,” Young confesses he isn’t much different from his wife. “It’s difficult to sing on stage,” he says. “I have to almost go blank on purpose and not think about the words, because if I do, it’s hard to get through.”

In fact, for a time, Young decided the song was too personal to release to the public. “I thought it was just a gift for my wife and daughter,” he says. But after producer Dann Huff presented him with a finished version — also as a baby gift — Young says he realized “maybe people need to hear this.”

Heart Explosion // I can’t think of a better way than to celebrate another #1 record at country radio than with my beautiful family. What a blessing and privilege. Thank you all for all the love and support. I’m truly blessed! Hope y’all are staying safe and healthy! -B

The singer says it was his idea to include Presley’s fetal heartbeat on the track, the perfect accompaniment to the song’s first line: “I remember when I first heard your heartbeat.”

“Our doctor said, ‘Okay, you probably want to get your phone out and take a video of this because you’re about to hear a heartbeat for the first time,” Young recalls. “And so I videoed it probably a good minute and a half. And of course my wife and I are talking and crying through the whole thing. Luckily, there was a long enough snippet in there where we were quiet, and it was just the heartbeat.”

Backdropped by a slideshow featuring Taylor and Presley, Young has been performing “Lady” as the setlist closer on his “The Chapters” tour; it’s the natural spot since the song encapsulates his latest life chapter. Though he was able to perform it only a few times before the tour was postponed in March, reaction has been so overwhelming, he says, that picking it as his new single was a no-brainer.

“There were a lot of social media posts by people who’d taken videos at the shows,” he says, “and so we were already getting a lot of requests on social media from people wondering when they were going to be able to get the song. You hope it happens that way — you hope the fans ask for your next single — so that was kind of a fortunate position to be in with this one.”

At the heart of the song is Young’s wish for his daughter to “learn how to be a lady” just like her mother. So what does “being a lady” mean to Young?

“Well, that’s the whole point,” Young says, laughing. “I have no idea! I’m so grateful that I’m not the one having to teach that.”

Turning more reflective, he offers a generous tribute to Taylor: “If I had to put into words what it means when I look at my wife, I think it’s just patience and class and grace and kindness and confidence — all those qualities that we want for ourselves.”

Young says he’d always looked forward to fatherhood, and yet he says, once Taylor became pregnant, the idea of actually raising another human being also turned “terrifying.” But those fears (confessed in the lyrics of “Lady”), were eased by the faith he put in his wife.

“Knowing that my wife grew up nannying and knowing what she was doing and loving children,” he says, “was the thing that I always circled back to that gave me peace.”

Since Presley’s birth six months ago, Young’s faith in his wife’s gifts has been amply confirmed: “Whenever I’m like, I don’t know what to do right here, I just go, ‘Hey, babe, what’s the answer here?’ And she’s always got it.”

That doesn’t mean Young has been shirking his parental duties. “I kinda feel guilty admitting this, but I mostly get to experience the fun stuff,” he allows, “but I’m going to take credit for this: I do change my share of dirty diapers. I’m not afraid of a full diaper!”

Presley, he says, has also been making parenthood easy. “We’ve been really fortunate with her demeanor and her spirit,” he says, “so yeah … I don’t feel like I’ve screwed her up yet. So that’s the good news.”

Though he’s missing the stage, Young says he’s now savoring this unexpected down time with his wife and daughter. Currently quarantining with his wife’s family in Palm Desert, California, Young says he’s been luxuriating in witnessing Presley simply encounter life.

“She’ll stare at a ceiling fan for 15 minutes and be enthralled,” says the proud papa. “You’re constantly wondering what she must be thinking. She might be experiencing joy or she might be confused. It’s just so innocent and genuine and telling to the type of little person she’s already becoming. When it’s your child, it’s really special to watch and see.”

So has Presley gotten her own private performance of “Lady”? Many times, Young confirms. But the Little Lady seems to have a different preference.

“There’s another stupid song that I’ve made up since she was born to get her to stop crying,” he says, “and we end up going to that song a lot more often because it actually still works to keep her from crying.”

The lyrics change according to the circumstance, Young explains, adding that this one will definitely not be headed for public consumption.

No worries: There will surely be more Presley-inspired songs for fans, Young assures. He’s also certain about one more thing.

“Daddy will definitely be singing to her her whole life,” he says, “so she better get used to that.”

It’s impossible to tell whom the new baby will take after more at this point, but considering the very different personalities of Simpson Ross’ two kids, it will definitely be a surprise.

“She’s definitely different than Bronx,” she told PEOPLE of Jagger in December 2016. “Bronx was an easy sleeper. She’s like, ‘Nuh uh, Mama. I want to stay up and stay up next to you!’ ”

But that “little bit of toughness” is something Simpson Ross cherishes deeply about her daughter. “I think it’s good for a girl,” she said of Jagger’s outgoing nature. “I’m excited.”

Hilarie Burton Says the Sexual Harassment She Suffered ‘Affects How I Parent My Daughter’

It’s been over a decade since Hilarie Burton left One Tree Hill, but the memories — both happy and painful — remain with her.

In her new memoir, The Rural Diaries — out May 5 — Burton opens up about her family and her joyful life on a 100-acre farm in the Hudson Valley. But in the book, the actress also writes about the abuse she says she suffered while starring on the CW’s hit teen drama series.

“I had such strong relationships on the show and I still do,” Burton, 37, who was on the show for six years before she left in 2009, tells PEOPLE. “There was so much good. But there was bad too.”

In 2017, Burton, along with several of her former costars and One Tree Hill crew members, came forward about alleged sexual abuse and harassment they endured at the hands of creator Mark Schwahn.

For more from Hilarie Burton, pick up this week’s issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday

Burton recalls being “groomed,” by Schwahn on set, whom she said in 2017 was verbally abusive, touched her inappropriately and kissed her against her will. (Schwahn has never commented on the allegations and was fired from his job as showrunner in 2017.)

RELATED: Hilarie Burton Details Sexual Assault Allegations Against One Tree Hill Showrunner Mark Schwahn

But despite the situation, Burton, then in her early 20s, didn’t formally complain about her boss.

“I was told that if you speak up, your career is over,” says the actress, who is wed to The Walking Dead‘s Jeffrey Dean Morgan, with whom she shares son Gus, 10, and daughter George, 2. “You’ll be labeled a troublemaker.”

As a result, “I didn’t say anything for a decade,” says Burton. “And as a result of that, people were abused after me. The guilt that comes with that is really difficult.”

Now, Burton admits, “I’ll always be angry” about the abuse she endured. But she’s focusing on imparting the lessons she’s learned to her young daughter.

“It affects how I parent ,” she says. “She will never be a pleaser. If my daughter tells someone to f— off, awesome. I wish I had had the ability to do that.”

Burton says she’s had conversations about her experience with son Gus. “He knows something bad went down on that set and he asks me, ‘Why do you still do conventions for it? Why do you still talk about it?’ But I am making a decision as an adult to focus on the good, to focus on the fan base and the crew and the fact that I got to learn my craft every day.”

Continues Burton: “It was a wonderful opportunity for me to stretch. And now that are out there, we all just get to collectively give this sigh of relief.”

Ultimately, she says she hopes “that kind of behavior is being flushed out of our industry.” That said, says Burton, “there is still a lot of work to do.”

The Rural Diaries is on stands May 5. Friday Night In with the Morgans airs Fridays (10 p.m. ET) on AMC.

Russell Brand Is The Worst Parenting Partner Ever

You know how sitcoms portray dads as being these inept dumbasses when it comes to parenting? And Mom is the only one who knows what she’s doing? Yeah, many fathers would consider these portrayals kind of insulting to those of them who are devoted, involved parents. But unfortunately, it seems that these bungling dad stereotypes do accurately portray what it’s like to parent with comedian Russell Brand.

View this post on Instagram

Oh Russell, you inspiring man you 🙌🏼

A post shared by @ 007_nic on

Brand and his wife, Laura Gallacher, are the parents of two little girls, aged two years and six months. Brand has readily admitted that his wife was the only competent parent in their relationship. As in, she’ll never be able to leave Brand alone with their kids for 24 hours because he readily admits that he’s “not so good on the nappies and making sure that they eat food.”

In other words, Brand can’t even manage the first rule of parenting, which is keeping the kids alive.

And there’s more. Brand had a recent interview with the U.K.’s Sunday Times Magazine where he revealed:

“I’m still of a romantic and reflective and, possibly, to give it its proper name, a religious disposition. That’s my world view. That’s not necessarily what you want organizing pragmatic, bureaucratic, managerial stuff.”

So, what, does Brand just sit and meditate while his kids scream their heads off?

“It turns out that [Laura] is extremely well versed in the nuances and complexities of child-rearing. Me, I am dedicated to it, devoted to it, but I am still surprised when it’s like, ‘Oh my God, this is fucking really hard and it’s so exhausting.’ The younger one, I just feel inept so quickly, like with the crying.’”

Dude, why the fuck are you so shocked that parenting is so hard? This should not be a surprise to you. Literally, everyone says that parenting is difficult, exhausting, and thankless. Especially when you’re dealing with very small children.

Poor Laura Gallacher. She’ll never be able to leave town to have a break and take a little mom-vacation with her girlfriends because she’ll end up coming home to a couple of screaming, shitting, and starving children (assuming they’re not dead), while her oblivious hubby is standing on his head meditating and reciting yoga mantras.

Amy Schumer Shares Ultrasound Video of Her Baby: ‘It Has So Much Energy — That’s Why I’m Puking’

Say hello to Amy Schumer‘s baby on the way!

The pregnant actress and comedian, 37, shared an ultrasound video on Instagram Monday, over two weeks after her appointment as the footage was dated Oct. 16.

“It’s moving all around! Oh my God, oh my God, see it has so much energy — that’s why I’m puking every day,” Schumer said as she excitedly watched the screen, which showed her child’s arms and legs in motion.

Much like her Oct. 22 pregnancy announcement, the video had a secondary purpose as Schumer urged fans and followers to vote in the Nov. 6 midterm elections.

“Happy Election Eve!” the mother-to-be, who is married to chef Chris Fischer, captioned her ultrasound footage. “You can look up your polling place + hours by texting LOCATION to 21333 And you can look up a sample ballot to be prepared at vote411.org/ballot Make a plan to #vote and let’s make history tomorrow!”

In addition to recently showing off her baby bump for the first time on Instagram, Schumer has continued to update her fans about her pregnancy.

On Friday, the I Feel Pretty star discussed being in her second trimester while performing stand up in Las Vegas. “I don’t like it,” she said, later adding, “I’ve had a really tough pregnancy so far.”

Joking that she has “a half a year” left of pregnancy, Schumer also said everyone is a “psychic” when it comes to the sex of her baby. “It’s a 50/50 shot. It’s better odds than in Vegas. I don’t know what it’s going to be. I think it’s going to be a baby,” she said.

Danielle Harris Opens Up About Her ‘Near Death’ Experience During Delivery of Son Jagger

Almost a month after welcoming her baby boy, Danielle Harris is opening up about her difficult delivery.

Before sharing the story of her “traumatic” experience, the Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead star and famed scream queen, 41, wrote a sweet tribute to her 4-week-old son Jagger Maxwell — her second child with husband David Gross.

“Introducing … Jagger Maxwell Gross Born 10/8/2018 !!!!” she wrote on Instagram over the weekend, alongside the first photo the actress has shared of her bundle of joy.

“Mommy and Daddy are so lucky to be able to add you to our family. We are a fierce 4some now and can’t wait to watch you grow and live this life as our baby boy and little brother to the BEST big brother a boy could ask for!!” she continued, referring to the couple’s older son Carter Davis, 20 months.

Explaining why it took her so long to share her harrowing story — or even post a photo of her child — the mother of two wrote that she just needed a little time to herself.

“Giving birth is the most dangerous thing a woman can do in her lifetime … after my traumatic birth experience this time around, it took me a while to share a photo with the world,” Harris wrote. “Time was really needed to clear my head and bond with my baby just he and I in our own private little bubble.”

“I saw moments of my life flashing before me in fast forward and I missed the birth of my baby,” she wrote. “Needless to say that was the closest to a near death experience as I’d ever come in real life.”

The Halloween franchise actress went on to share that she’s “forever grateful and blessed” to have made it out of the delivery room alive.

“Dying during childbirth was definitely not on my list of ways I thought I would leave this world and I’m glad to cross that possibility off my list,” she wrote.

How Anastasia Higginbotham’s Book Series Helps Kids Navigate Tough Topics Like Death & Race

Should parents and guardians shield kids from scary topics like death and racism? Author Anastasia Higginbotham, who is featured in PEOPLE’s 25 Women Changing the World, says no.

“It’s important because they are part of kids’ everyday reality,” she tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue. “They’re something that we often think of as adult subjects, as too complicated or too painful for children to have to think about… But they are experienced.”

The 47-year-old mother of two created her children’s book series Ordinary Terrible Things — which delves into tough topics like divorce, death, sex, and race — because she believes that children need a medium in which to learn about and discuss the hardest aspects of life. Higginbotham’s latest book in the series, Not My Idea: A Book About Whiteness, is the first children’s picture book to break down white supremacy.

“I think that children who read my work see their own internal lives on the page. Some of the bigger, harder-to-manage emotions, they’re on the page,” Higginbotham explains. “There’s a sense of not being so alone, there’s a sense of, ‘My life is important,’ ‘What I’m going through is important, even though it’s ordinary.’ Half of all families are experiencing divorce, and everybody has to face death.”

She continues, “ permission to feel everything. And permission to say some of the things out loud.”

Acting as both writer and illustrator, Higginbotham released her first book, Divorce Is the Worst, in 2015. It helps the kids of divorced parents by validating their individual experiences, she explains. The book also helps the adults.

“You want to show up for your kids in the best way, but maybe you question your own capacity to do so because you still have some pain or resentment or some scars,” Higginbotham explains. Her series, she argues, can help adults parent as they deal with their own trauma.

“The death book focuses on the death of a grandparent. That means one of the parents lost one of their own parents: a mother or father,” the author says. “If the adult is in crisis about a loss or separation then it’s nice to have a book that you can go through with the child. The author did the emotional work for you… You can be present for your child at a time when you feel very depleted or consumed by whatever is happening in your life.”

For full coverage of PEOPLE’s 25 Women Changing the World, pick up this week’s issue, on newsstands Friday

Along with external circumstances, Higginbotham also addresses internal changes and questions that kids face.

Tell Me About Sex, Grandma is really not about the mechanics of sex and sexuality, but about self-discovery,” Higginbotham says. “Who can you trust to ask those questions? Who will tell you the truth? And I don’t mean the truth about the mechanics of sex, once again, I mean the truth about the fact that you are a beautiful human being and you deserve to be exactly who you are.”

Higginbotham’s themes of inclusivity, self-evaluation and love translate over to her latest book, Not My Idea: A Book About Whiteness.

“It’s targeted specifically at white kids to help them feel connected to this conversation about racism and the reality of racism in our lives,” she explains, “ invite young children to connect in an emotional and spiritual way to justice.”

Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola Reunites with Jersey Shore Cast for Deena Cortese’s Baby Shower

Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola was back together with her Jersey Shore castmates on Saturday for one special reason.

The 31-year-old reality star reunited with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Angelina Pivarnick and Jenni “JWoww” Farley for Deena Cortese’s baby shower.

It was the first time all were together since Cortese’s wedding to Christopher Buckner in October 2017. Giancola famously opted out of the MTV reboot to focus on her businesses and relationship — and avoid “potentially toxic situations,” seemingly referring to her ex and former costar Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, 32. Though she skipped out on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, there appeared to be no hard feelings between Giancola and her female costars, and the group was all smiles on Saturday in a sea of photos shared on social media.

Cortese, 31 — who is expecting her first child, a boy — wore a white lace dress with a blue “mommy-to-be” sash that perfectly highlighted her baby bump. Polizzi, 30, and Pivarnick, 32, both wore dresses while Farley, 32, and Giancola both wore pants and cold-shoulder tops.

Polizzi and Farley each brought their daughters Giovanna and Meilani, both 4, and the duo posed together for a picture in front of the dessert table.

Celebrating new life 💙💙💙 with my girls,” Farley captioned one shot, with Polizzi adding, “DEENER’S baby shower for CJ! Can’t wait to meet another addition to our family. Love these ladies so much!!!!!! #Family #MySisters.”

“#AllTogetherFinally,” Pivarnick added in her caption. “#Sisters #LoveThem.”

The ladies also shared images and videos on Instagram Stories, some of which included Cortese opening baby gifts.

Much of the first season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation focused on Giancola’s absence, with quite a few jokes being made at her expense — mostly stemming from the fact that Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio brought in a custom, life-size doll wearing an “I’m in a really good place” shirt and designed to look and talk just like her (“Rahhhhhnnnn! Staaaaahhhhp!“).

During the premiere, Ortiz-Magro also admitted to cheating on Giancola after they moved in together following Jersey Shore.

Chris Stapleton Announces Wife Morgane Is Pregnant Just 7 Months After Delivering Twins

Baby makes five for Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane!

Just seven months after the couple welcomed twin boys, the father of four announced that he and his wife are expecting their fifth child during his concert on Friday night at Madison Square Garden.

“Some of you may know that we have four children,” the musician said, according to a video published by The Blast. “We just had twins, about seven months ago. Now there’s four for us, but we’re gonna make it five!”

A rep for Stapleton had no comment on the news.

On Saturday, Stapleton — who is nominated five times at the CMA Awards on Nov. 14 — posted a series of photos from the concert on Instagram but did not address his special announcement.

Chris and Morgane, who wed in 2007, are already parents to three sons and one daughter but have chosen not to publicly reveal their names.

This isn’t the first time that Chris has announced his baby news during a concert. Last year, the country singer shared that his wife was expecting twins during a performance in Dallas at Starplex Pavillion.

“She’s the mother of my two kids, and she’s about to be the mother of two more,” he said.

Morgane also shared the news of their little ones on the way in an Instagram post marking the spouses’ tenth wedding anniversary.

“14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way. Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round,” the expectant mother captioned a black-and-white portrait of the couple.

After the boys were born in April, Chris gave Reba McEntire the honors of announcing their arrival when he won album of the year at the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards, which he was unable to attend.

“Those little rascals came a little bit early,” McEntire said, adding that Stapleton and his wife were home in Nashville with their new babies. “Hot off the press! … Twin boys.”

Chris later wrote on Instagram, “Thank you for sharing our good news @Reba! We couldn’t have dreamed up a better day. Morgane & the boys are doing great & we appreciate everyone’s support!”

A day after the public announcement, Morgane shared a sweet black-and-white photo to Instagram of her newest additions, who arrived more than a month early, and thanked the hospital staff for taking care of their boys.

“Thank you for all the love! We’re so grateful to finally be home with our sweet family. We would like to say a special thank you to all the incredible nurses & doctors at Centennial Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Nashville,” she wrote.

“At more than a month early, we had a week-long stay in the NICU & the incredible people there kept our boys healthy & happy,” she continued. “Words cannot express our gratitude for you all & what you did for our family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!”

Deena Cortese ‘Was a Nervous Wreck’ Thinking She’d Lose Her Baby During Pregnancy Scare

Deena Cortese opened up about a scary moment during her pregnancy on Thursday’s episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation.

Sitting down with her costars and best friends Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, the mom-to-be got emotional as she revealed her doctor had put her on bed rest after she suddenly started bleeding.

“Last week, I had a scare,” said Cortese, 31, as she started to cry. “I get emotional because it’s scary. I just started bleeding, but I’m fine.”

“Honestly, the scariest moment in my life,” she admitted. “I was a nervous wreck, but was so calm, thank God.”

Luckily, Cortese and the baby were both okay, but she opted out of joining the rest of the roomies at their next share house.

“The baby’s fine,” Cortese said. “The doctor wanted to put me on bed rest until my follow-up appointment ’cause I’m still spotting. I just think it might be better for me not to live in the house, but I’d love to come and visit you guys and maybe me and Chris will come down for a weekend or something.”

Her friends were disappointed she wouldn’t be there, but understood her situation. “I know she’s petrified of losing the baby,” said Farley, 32. “I don’t want her this emotional. It’s sad to see.”

Cortese and husband Christopher Buckner announced in July that they’re expecting their first child, a baby boy they plan to name Christopher John, in December, sharing a photo set of the couple (and their dog!) showing off their baby’s ultrasound, holding blue balloons and more.

“Chris and I decided to wait until we were ready to spill the beans! Now that we are safely into our second trimester … us and our little monkey are ready to tell the world our little family is growing !” she wrote alongside the sweet gallery.

Hours after revealing her exciting news, Cortese posted a video and photo series from the spouses’ sex reveal, where they first learned she was expecting a boy.

The pregnant star has since shared a few photos of her growing baby bump on social media, revealing some of her cravings: cinnamon-raisin bagels, candy and ice cream!

Jersey Shore Family Vacation airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.

This Little Girl’s Headless Halloween Costume Is Too Cool — and Too Creepy — to Be Missed

She’s lost her head!

A little girl’s eerily realistic headless Halloween ensemble has quickly gone viral as the holiday festivities kick off.

The video — shared to social media by the girl’s mother, Krystel Hwang and taken in the Philippines — shows her walking in a pretty, floral dress. Instead of atop her neck, her head is perched perfectly on a platter being carried by faux arms. The toddler’s face was painted to look ghoulish.

“My super adorable headless Maya,” wrote Hwang.

Hwang told outlet Coconuts Manila that her daughter, Maya, is 2, and was all in for the costume.

“They’re not scared because we made the costume together and my kids have watched Halloween makeup tutorials on YouTube and so they know it’s fake and it’s all makeup,” Hwang told the outlet, adding that the costume is made of materials from home.

She added of crafting the costume, “I ask them questions. I want them to be creative and resourceful at the same time. It’s a learning experience for all of us, too.”

Other videos of Maya reveal that rather than a basket for candy, her faux neck was an open bucket meant to store the treats.

Hwang also revealed more about the process on Instagram, writing, “For those who are asking…Yes, I did make her headless costume. Maya has been excited and super game with everything even when I had to wrap her with strips and strips of duct tape to form the fake body. What a trooper!”

Of people’s reactions to the costume, Hwang admitted that there were some “second looks.”

I Love It! Saint and North West Hilariously Dress Up as Dad Kanye and Lil Pump for Halloween

Halloween is a family affair!

For the holiday, Saint and North West didn’t have to look far from home for costume inspiration as the siblings’ Halloween looks were both inspired by dad Kanye West.

On Wednesday night, little Saint morphed into his father while his cousin Reign Disick dressed up as Lil Pump from the rappers’ music video “I Love It.”

Kim Kardashian shared a series of photos of the epic costumes on Instagram simply captioning it “I love it.”

In the first shot, Saint, 2, can be seen smiling widely dressed in Kanye’s massive box costume with the “Donda” chain and oversized slides. Meanwhile, Reign, 3, a.k.a. Lil Pump, 18, wore the rapper’s exact silver chain with white Yeezys.

In the second shot, both boys were pictured smiling. The next post was a video of Kim begging Saint and Reign to keep a straight face by saying “no cheese,” before he and Reign tumbled over due to the weight of the costumes.

Kourtney Kardashian also shared the same photos with the same caption. Meanwhile, proud dad Kanye posted a photo of his son on Twitter, captioning it “Scoop.”

Of course, Reign and Saint weren’t the only ones to pay homage to the Chicago rapper.

North, and Kourtney and Scott Disick’s daughter Penelope also dressed up like Kanye and Lil Pump but took their inspiration from the duo’s Sept. 30 SNL performance outfits.

Penelope, 6, wore Kanye’s sparkling water ensemble as North, 5, rocked Lil Pump’s Fiji water bottle look.

Hours before sharing the “I Love It”-inspired costumes, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner shared photos of the family’s most epic sister Halloween costume to-date.

In photos shared by Kim, the sisters are seen channeling their inner Victoria’s Secret Angels wearing sexy white lingerie looks, massive angel wings (supplied by Victoria’s Secret themselves!) and crystal-encrusted high heels as they strutted in unison for the camera before heading to a Halloween party.

Kim tweeted a behind-the-scenes photo of her look writing, “Thank you @VictoriasSecret for sending us actual runway looks and real wings to borrow for the night!!! OMG a dream come true! Got to be a Victoria Secret Angel for the night! & Kendall got good practice lol.”

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin Have a Blast Dressing Up Their Kids in Astronaut Costumes for Halloween

The Baldwin family Halloween was out of this world!

To celebrate the spooky holiday on Wednesday, Alec Baldwin, 60, and his wife Hilaria, 34, dressed their family up in adorable matching astronaut costumes and shared the photos to Instagram.

Wearing orange jumpsuits, Alec and Hilaria — along with their children Romeo Alejandro David, 5 months, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 2, Rafael Thomas, 3, and Carmen Gabriela, 5 — took the sweet family photo before heading out to the streets of New York for some trick-or-treating.

Alec and Rafael even had their own space helmets to wear with the costumes, which the three-year-old proudly showed off in the photos. “Ppahy WeenyHallow…” Alec wrote on his Instagram account alongside the precious family image.

He later shared a photo of the couple’s three eldest children sitting on a stoop outside. “All systems are go for Operation Candy here in New York City…” he captioned the sibling shot.

Hilaria also joined in on the fun, posting a video of the family heading down the New York City sidewalk, hand-in-hand.

As the Baldwins walk in slow-motion, Richard Strauss’ “Also Sprach Zarathustra Op. 30” — made famous as the theme song from 2001: A Space Odyssey —  is heard in the background.

“Happy Halloween…love, us…blast off 🚀” she captioned the silly video.

The Baldwin clan are no strangers to taking adorable family photos.

Earlier this month, the parents brought their three oldest children along with them to the Chairman’s Reception at the Hamptons International Film Festival in East Hampton, New York where they stole the show on the red carpet.

The family kept it casual wearing jeans and long-sleeved shirts but looked happy-as-ever as Alec and Hilaria held their three kids tight.

And most recently, the proud parents posed for the latest cover of HOLA! USA with their four kids, where they opened up about how Spanish is “fundamental” in their household.

“Our kids, especially the older ones, who speak more, are fully bilingual,” Alec told the publication. “My wife speaks Spanish in the house and Carmen is in a school which is a full language immersion.”

“We make the utmost effort. This is a priority for my wife — Spanish is fundamental,” he continued.

In addition to passing down the language, Hilaria also explained that many of her and Alec’s traits have rubbed off on their children.

“We’re both very dramatic; we’re very strong-willed; we’re kind of loud. I think that our kids, especially Carmen, are very much like us,” she revealed.

“With my husband, she likes to sit down and watch something. She has the capacity to be able to sit down and complete something — where I’ll do it if I have to, but I don’t want to,” Hilaria explained.

“Alec is very good at that,” she continued. “Our boys are climbing on everything — I feel that’s very me.”

Southern Charm’s Cameran Eubanks’ Daughter Dresses Up as Costar Patricia Altschul for Halloween

Imitation is the highest form of flattery, especially for Halloween!

Ahead of her daughter Palmer’s first-ever Halloween, Cameran Eubanks dressed up her 11-month-old as Southern Charm costar Patricia Altschul. Complete with the Charleston socialite’s signature pet-printed caftan, little Palmer wore a brunette wig. She was also accompanied by family dog Elvis, who portrayed Altschul’s beloved butler, Michael. (All that was missing was Altschul’s pug, Chauncey!)

“I give you Patricia and Michael the Butler,” the mother of one captioned the image of her daughter and dog.

“Best. Costume. Ever,” Altschul’s apparel line, Patricia’s Couture, responded.

The Real World alum and husband Jason Wimberly welcomed their first child in November 2017.

Months before Palmer’s arrival, Altschul, 77, hosted a ’60s-themed baby shower for Eubanks, 34, at her home as seen in season 5 of the popular Bravo series.

And since her birth, little Palmer has been spoiled by Altschul.

“She’s received nicer gifts from Patricia than she has from her own mother. She gave her a little baby Chanel bag. I don’t even own a Chanel bag, so it’s not really Palmer’s, it’s mine,” Eubanks told The Daily Dish in May. “I’m gonna hide it from her, I think, until she’s later in life because no kid, I mean, you’re creating a monster by giving a kid a Chanel bag.”

Altschul’s son and fellow Southern Charm star Whitney Sudler-Smith has also been involved since Palmer’s birth.

“Believe it or not, Whitney has definitely been the most involved with Palmer. He comes and sees her. He’s always — a lot of people would be surprised by this — but he sends me articles on parenting,” Eubanks also told The Daily Dish. “There’s a whole ‘nother side of him that I don’t think people really see. He’s very, very caring, believe it or not.”

Alec Baldwin and Wife Hilaria Pose with Their Four Kids in Sweet Family Photo Shoot

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are dedicated to passing both of their respective native languages on to their children.

The proud parents posed for the latest cover of HOLA! USA with their four kids — sons Romeo Alejandro David, 5 months, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 2, and Rafael Thomas, 3, plus daughter Carmen Gabriela, 5 — where they opened up about how Spanish is “fundamental” in their household.

“Our kids, especially the older ones, who speak more, are fully bilingual,” Alec, 60, told the publication. “My wife speaks Spanish in the house and Carmen is in a school which is a full language immersion.”

“The concern and the passion that my wife has — and me too — for two languages is essential,” explained the former 30 Rock star, who’s also dad to 23-year-old daughter Ireland.

“We make the utmost effort. This is a priority for my wife — Spanish is fundamental.”

Hilaria, a 34-year-old yoga instructor and all-around fitness guru, told HOLA! USA that she and Alec “are very, very different” but also “similar in some ways” personality wise — traits their kids have inherited.

As one can imagine, the Baldwins’ household is a happy — and very hectic — place. But the couple have found a routine that works for them.

Kenya Moore Gains 17 Lbs. in One Week Due to Scary Pregnancy Complication: ‘This Is Not Normal’

Kenya Moore has hit a dangerous complication in her pregnancy, which might cause her to give birth sooner rather than expected.

The 47-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum — who is expecting her first child — revealed via Instagram on Saturday that she has “gained 17 lbs. in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine.”

“This is NOT normal!” Moore wrote, captioning a picture of her swollen feet.

A day earlier, the former Miss USA attended the launch of former RHOA costar Cynthia Bailey’s new event space and wine shop, complaining later about her swollen feet on Instagram.

I made fun of my swollen feet at @cynthiabailey10 party. I took more tests. Baby is fine but if they come back higher #babydaly will have to come same day. Staying positive. To my pregnant sisters please go to your visits and tell the doctor of any drastic changes. Thank God I have great doctors.🙏🏾 #babydaly #highrisk #love #family #miraclebaby #kenyamoore #babybump #pregnantover40

A post shared by Kenya Moore Daly (@thekenyamoore) on Oct 27, 2018 at 9:47am PDT

So what could be causing the problem? Moore explained on Saturday that she had undergone tests. Results came back on Friday, showing she had possible preeclampsia — a pregnancy complication that, according to the Mayo Clinic, is “characterized by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system, most often the liver and kidneys.”

It typically develops suddenly in women who previously had normal blood pressure after the 20-week pregnancy mark, the Mayo Clinic says. Besides the sudden weight gain and swelling, symptoms may include severe headaches, shortness of breath, nausea, upper abdominal pain, blurred vision, impaired liver and kidney function and decreased urine output.

Left untreated, preeclampsia can have dangerous effects. It can lead to fatal complications, according to the Mayo Clinic.

The most effective form of treatment is delivery, something Moore said she is considering. “I took more tests,” she said. “Baby is fine but if they come back higher #babydaly will have to come same day.”

“Staying positive,” Moore added. “To my pregnant sisters please go to your visits and tell the doctor of any drastic changes. Thank God I have great doctors.”

They weren’t alone at the affair, which was highly documented on social media. Kourtney’s daughter Penelope Disick, 6, was there as well, as was Rob Kardashian’s 1-year-old daughter Dream, and Kim Kardashian West’s three little ones — North, 5, Saint, 2 and Chicago, 9 months.

Since then, Khloé has been reflecting on life and is still deciding how to proceed, a source told PEOPLE. “Khloé isn’t saying that she and Tristan split. It seems she hasn’t decided yet what she wants to do about their relationship,” the insider said. “And she seems fine about this.”

Earlier in the year, Kardashian planned to return to Ohio to support Thompson, 27, as he began his basketball season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. But her decision has since been put on hold, leaving fans wondering about the status of their romance.

“Her family is happy that she is still in L.A. and wants her around for as long as possible,” the source continued. “No one is pushing for her to go back to Cleveland to be with Tristan. This will be her decision to make.”

Chrissy Teigen Shares Adorable Photo of Son Miles Eating — and He Looks Just Like Dad John Legend!

Chrissy Teigen‘s son Miles Theodore is his father’s mini-me!

On Thursday, the mom-of-two, 32, posted a photo of her 5-month-old hitting a major milestone as he fed himself with a spoon.

“baby bear is eating!” she captioned the sweet shot of her youngest child, who has an uncanny resemblance to John Legend.

The couple’s celebrity friends were also taken aback at how similar the father-son duo looked, with several stars commenting on Teigen’s post, first captured by the Instagram account Comments by Celebs.

“That looks like you face swapped John onto a baby!” wrote late-night host Trevor Noah.

“At least there’ll never be a tabloid headline questioning the father,” joked Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui.

Since Teigen and Legend, 39, welcomed Miles into the world on May 16, the Internet has been stunned at the baby’s resemblance to the singer — and the parents know it too!

Earlier this month, Teigen shared a photo on Instagram of her son laying on his belly and captioned the shot, “Tummy time for my mini John!!!” She also added the cute hashtag of “#MILEStones.”

Legend joined in on the fun by posting a selfie with his son in a bow-tie and suspenders in September. The singer also shared a side-by-side photo of himself as a baby alongside Miles to really let their similar appearance sink in.

Legend previously explained how caring for a newborn was a major parenthood adjustment for the couple.

“A lot of it’s just the nuts and bolts of making sure Miles is fed. Making sure he sleeps well. Making sure we burp him. Making sure we change his diaper. It’s just the practical everyday things of being a parent, and so we’re immersed in that time in his life right now,” the “All of Me” singer revealed.

The couple’s two-year-old daughter Luna Simone is also adjusting well to life as a big sister, dad added.  Legend told PEOPLE, “She tries to play with him. She takes care of him too. She’ll feed him. She’ll pat his little head. She’s very loving with him.”

Though the couple seems to have their hands full with two kids — and Legend recently revealed he would like to have a third baby — the pair just announced that they would be starring in their own Christmas special, titled A Legendary Christmas with John and Chrissy.

The hour-long program will largely revolve around the 10-time Grammy winner performing songs from his upcoming album, A Legendary Christmas, available Oct. 26, and hopefully, include lots of jokes from his cookbook author wife.

According to Today, the couple’s family and friends will also take the stage at certain points, as well as some other “well-known entertainers, who’ll be revealed closer to the special’s date.”

A Legendary Christmas with John and Chrissy will air Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Kylie Jenner Is Insecure About Post-Baby Body at First Photo Shoot Since Stormi: ‘I’m 158 Lbs.’

Kylie Jenner‘s post-baby body journey is unfolding on this season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

In a sneak peek at Sunday’s  episode, Kylie, 21, admits to feeling insecure as she prepares to pose for a Calvin Klein campaign with her sisters — her first photo shoot since welcoming her first child, daughter Stormi, with Travis Scott on Feb. 1.

“This is going to be my first photo shoot after Stormi and doing my first few fittings and getting back into it, it’s kind of hard and discouraging,” she says.

“Kylie, you look amazing,” Khloé Kardashian, 34, reassures her sister. “And your belly button is back to normal!”

“I’m still 158 ,” Kylie responds.

“Me too!” Kris Jenner says, high-fiving her youngest daughter.

“ 198 , right now. So do you want to f—ing play this game?” says Khloé, who was then pregnant with her first child, daughter True.

“Kylie, I’m not kidding, you look insane,” chimes in Kourtney Kardashian, 39.

“Your body looks f—ing crazy,” Khloé insists.

“It just doesn’t,” Kylie responds.

The new mom gave fans their first glimpse at her post-baby transformation just seven weeks after giving birth to her daughter, posting a quick video on Snapchat of herself lifting up a black hoodie to expose her stomach.

About one month later, she was already back in a bikini — and since then, she’s often showed off her toned physique on social media.

In March, Jenner revealed that she gained a total of 40 lbs. during pregnancy in a since-deleted tweet.

Sources previously told PEOPLE that Jenner is determined to get back into pre-pregnancy shape because she wants to be a “really hot young mom.”

“Kylie is already starting to work out,” an insider said. “She’s focusing on getting her body back and also getting back to a comfortable weight aside from caring for Stormi.”

47 Percent of Pregnant Women Have Considered Quitting for More Breastfeeding-Friendly Jobs

This year brought major strides for breastfeeding women — it’s now (finally!) legal to nurse in public in all 50 states, and all major airports must have lactation rooms, thanks to a new law. But there’s still far to go, especially when it comes to breastfeeding in the workplace.

Returning to work after a baby is already a difficult time, but it’s often made worse because of lackluster options for nursing and pumping. And according to a new surveypumping in the workplace can be so grim that 47 percent of pregnant women are considering quitting their jobs to find more breastfeeding-friendly environments.

The survey comes from Aeroflow Breastpumps, who asked 774 expecting mothers in the United States between the ages of 18 and 40 about pumping in the workplace. Other results from the survey were similarly disheartening: 63 percent of women said they believe there’s a stigma surrounding moms who breastfeed at work, and 49 percent reported feeling concerned that pumping and nursing in the office would impact their career growth. Of the 774 pregnant women, 76 percent said they plan to continue breastfeeding when they return to work, but not all reported that they would have a place to do it.

While 47 percent of respondents said their office had a lactation room with pumping essentials, 29 percent said there is no such room. An additional 13 percent said that there was a designated area, but it was not designed for pumping. The remaining respondents were unsure.

Thanks to an amendment to the Fair Labor Standards Act passed in 2010, employers are legally required to give nursing mothers time to pump, and a space other than a bathroom to do it. However, they do not have to pay mothers during this break time, and oftentimes the lactation rooms end up being storage closets or bare rooms in freezing cold basements.

“While we have made great strides in supporting breastfeeding moms, this survey clearly shows we have much more work to do,” Jennifer Jordan, the director of Mom & Baby at Aeroflow Healthcare, said in the report. “It is concerning that negative connotations around breastfeeding and pumping in the workplace still exist. Simply put, this is unacceptable and we must do better.”

Vanessa Lachey Opens Up About Son Phoenix’s ‘Traumatic Experience’ in Hospital

Vanessa Lachey is opening up about her son’s Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) diagnosis that left him hospitalized shortly after his birth.

On Tuesday, the mom-of-three posted a photo of Phoenix, who is now almost 2, when he was a baby and shared her experience about caring for her son — who was born 10 weeks prematurely.

“When I gave birth to my youngest, Phoenix, at 30 weeks, I knew he would need extra care,” she wrote on Instagram.

In the shot, Vanessa, 37, holds a young Phoenix — who is wrapped up in a blanket, wearing a hospital gown, and has a breathing tube up his nose.

“But I wasn’t aware that he was at an increased risk for a common respiratory virus called #RSV due to his under-developed lungs and immature immune system,” she continued.

Those with the respiratory virus typically experience cold-like symptoms, including coughing, runny nose, and fever. Although most RSV infections clear up on their own within 7-14 days, it is especially dangerous for young infants as it can cause breathing difficulty and dehydration, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

“So when he was hospitalized for six days for severe RSV disease, I was shocked and terrified,” Vanessa added. “I wish I had known more about RSV before this traumatic experience.”

She also went on to explain that she is partnering with AstraZeneca, a pharmaceutical company, to raise awareness about the disease during its month-long initiative.

Vanessa and husband Nick Lachey, 44, previously opened up to PEOPLE about adjusting their expectations when it came to the youngest member of their family.

“What I’ve had to do for myself now as a mom of a preemie is to not count the milestones,” Vanessa said at the Pampers‘ #SleptLikeThis event back in January.

“I mean that loosely and with love — to not compare him because every kid is going to be different, especially a preemie,” she added.

The pair — also parents to Brooklyn Elisabeth, 3, and Camden John, 6 — were also careful to not compare what their two older kids were doing as 1-year-olds to what Phoenix was capable of doing.

“He’s smaller, but he’s healthy. He’s so happy,” Vanessa said. “Brooklyn and Camden were standing and walking a little bit at this point and he’s not even near that.”

“And I’m okay with that because every kid has their own time and their own moment,” she explained, “and instead of us dwelling on what he’s not doing, we’re just living and relishing in what he is doing.”

“He’s the happiest, most joyful kid ever,” added Nick. “He’s crawling everywhere, he’s so curious and into everything now.”

“I just want to meet her. I’m just excited to have her,” White told PEOPLE of his daughter ahead of her birth. “I’m excited to take her home.”

Carrie Underwood Is ‘Officially a Soccer Mom’ — and She’s Celebrating with a Smiley Selfie!

Country superstar Carrie Underwood had a whole new gig on Saturday: soccer mom.

The 35-year-old singer shared a smiley Instagram selfie, which she snapped from the field where she was cheering on 3½-year-old son Isaiah Michael’s game.

“Officially a soccer mom this morning!” she captioned the photo, adding that she was “staying warm” from the “chilly” temperatures by wearing clothing from her own fitness line, CALIA by Carrie.

As for the game itself, Isaiah played well — even if he wasn’t always focused on winning.

“The kids played a good game!” Underwood explained. “Isaiah scored two goals for his team…and one for the other team 🤷‍♀️. Hey, a goal’s a goal! ⚽

Underwood will be spending even more time with Isaiah over the next few months. She’s currently pregnant with her second child with husband Mike Fisher, 38, and has postponed her Cry Pretty Tour until May, after she’s scheduled to give birth.

She and Fisher recently celebrated eight years of marriage. The musician and former Nashville Predators star said “I do” in July 2010 at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia — and announced they were pregnant with baby No. 2 back in August.

While accepting her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in September, Underwood sent love to both Fisher and Isaiah.

“I met an incredible man, Mike, who thinks I’m so much better than I actually am. Thank you for believing in me as a human, as a wife, as a mom, and supporting me through all of this,” Underwood said. “He believes in me and we had another little man who believes in me too. Isaiah Michael, I love you so much. You’re the best thing we ever did. I love you and I believe you,” she said, facing her husband and son.

It’s been a busy year for Underwood. In addition to getting her Hollywood star, Underwood released her latest album, Cry Pretty, in September. She’s scheduled to host the CMA Awards alongside Brad Paisley for her 11th time in November.

Last November, a few days after hosting the CMA Awards, Underwood tripped on the steps outside of her Nashville home while taking her dogs out and suffered “multiple injuries.” The accident left the singer needing over 40 stitches in her face and surgery on her broken wrist.

After the fall, Underwood stayed out of the spotlight to recover from her injuries, before making a comeback in April at the ACM Awards, where she received a standing ovation from the crowd for her performance. Since then, she’s proudly displayed her battle scars, telling Redbook that the accident has helped her learn a valuable lesson that she believes young women struggling with body confidence could relate to.

“The first thing I would tell them is that we’re all insecure; that’s just called being human,” she told the magazine. “I feel like the most important thing to realize is that even people who seem to be superconfident have insecurities that they are dealing with.”

She added, “Honestly, you just do the best you can. Don’t worry about things you can’t change.”

Meanwhile, back in April, the American Idol season 4 winner dished to PEOPLE about striking the balance between work and family life, saying the couple’s “whole life has changed” since welcoming Isaiah.

“I remember when we first found out we were gonna have him it like, ‘How are we gonna do this? Our lives are so crazy as it is,’ ” said Underwood at the time.

“But you just make room and you learn how important that family time is, and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise — that stuff is so important to, like I said, make time for family,” she added. “That’s what it’s all about.”

Cardi B Shows Off Post-Baby Stomach and Asks Fans How to ‘Get Rid of the Black Line’ After Birth

Cardi B is showing off her toned stomach area just three months after welcoming her daughter Kulture Kiari with husband Offset.

However, the 26-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper revealed she still has some things she’d like to work on. “Ladies how do you guys get rid of the black line in the middle of your stomach after giving birth?? cause bitch,” Cardi wrote on Instagram Friday, along with a photo of herself in a black tracksuit, which bared her toned abs.

In the image, a dark line can be seen both above and below her belly button. According to American Pregnancy Association, the line is called the pregnancy line and is usually caused by the changing hormones or the imbalance of hormones.

Since welcoming her daughter in July, Cardi has been candid about how much her body has changed.

During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Cardi said Kulture “broke my vagina.”

Kimmel, 50, replied, “That’s a rude thing for her to do. I was always worried about falling on stepping on a crack and breaking my mother’s back.”

“Why nobody tells you about those things? Nobody told me they were gonna stitch my vagina,” Cardi lamented. “People just be like, ‘Oh, you know, when you give birth, it’s gonna hurt.’ But nobody tells you .”

Even though the birthing process was harder than she expected, Cardi is embracing motherhood.

“Yes, I am enjoying it. It’s the best,” she said. “It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, I should have had you when I was a teenager. This is what I was missing my whole life? I love you.’ “
