Being as astronomer must be a trippy job. Every once in a while, you look out at the infinite cosmos and think, “Yep, that looks like an Alice in Wonderland character.” That’s what one scientist thought when he saw a galaxy that looks like a smiling Cheshire Cat suspended in the deep black space. And the kicker is there are many “Cheshire Cat” galaxies out there in the universe, grinning toothily (and probably with a whole lot of attitude) at astronomers.
According to Wired, the light of Cheshire Cat galaxies are stretched and bent by large amounts of mass contained in the foreground galaxies. This is called “gravitational lensing” and that’s what’s responsible for the “smile” you see in the photo.
Gravitational lensing is one of the key factors of Einstein’s general relativity theory, that was published 100 years ago this month, totally revolutionizing the way we perceive, understand, and observe our universe.
This photo is courtesy of Chandra X-Ray Conservatory, and it contains evidence that the Cheshire Cat “group” are slamming into each other, and that the left “eye” contains an “actively feeding” supermassive black hole. That’s right: each of the “eyes” you see is a cluster of galaxies, and they’re all slamming together, while a black hole sucks everything into oblivion.
Head hurts. Must stop.

Don't you dare say Eva Longoria has 20/20 vision! DON'T YOU DARE!!
Recently, the thespian teamed up with the Australian branch of Specsavers, an optometric company that sells eyeglasses!
The 40-year-old has appeared in the company's ads looking sexy in specs!
Unfortunately, some people are calling BS on the fact that the sultry Latina actually needs a vision aid!
Journalist Jenna Clarke from the Sydney Morning Herald actually criticized the actress for pretending to have poor eyesight just to sell bifocals!
This did not sit well with the Desperate Housewives star who is defending her right to be a four eyes!
On Monday, Miz Longoria took to Twitter to SLAM the writer for making such accusations!
"If you had done your journalistic duty (it's actually not that hard, a more thorough google job, or one phone call to my camp and they could have provided you any documentation) you would see that I have been wearing READING glasses since May 3, 2013. Long before Specsavers @SpecsaversAustralia called me."
She later explains why one doesn't see many pics of her wearing glasses!
"The reason your lazy journalist research of "googling" didn't turn up more pictures of me on the "red carpet" is because I don't need glasses to see far, only to READ. So unless you are in bed with me at night, or in the morning at my breakfast table reading the morning newspaper, then you probably wont find a "paparazzi" shot of me."'
The fashionista even did the research herself and posted a collage of her looking fierce in frames!
CASE IN POINT!
Being far sighted never seemed so sexy!

Rumer Willis Loved Her Twin Pic With Demi Moore — But There Was One Tiny Detail That Bugged The Sh*t Out Of Her!
Although the side by side of Rumer and Demi was basically perfect, there was one little detail that bugged the crap out of the 26-year-old!
We couldn't figure it out and the picture is set as our desktop photo! LOLz!
Catt Sadler was chatting up the Dancing With the Stars winner and when the host mentioned the hair-part, Rumer chimed in and said:
"I know, that was the only thing that bugged me, too! Man, I just got to do another one at some point. She had on this outfit and I thought it was really cute because we both really like overalls and onesies.
And she always, if I get a pair, two weeks later she's bought the same one. So I asked her where she got it and she said, 'Oh, I actually have one that's a little bit bigger size upstairs,' and I put it on and then I kind of just look at us in the mirror and I said, 'We have to take a photo. Do you have another pair of glasses like this?'"
And just like that the mother-daughter duo broke the internet.
Maybe they could take another one in a couple of weeks or month and get everything right down to the hair part!
