It's been three years since Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got married.
But apparently, some fans still haven't adjusted to the idea that Bieber and ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez will never again be "a thing."
We suppose that sort of mentality is to be expected.
After all, fans get attached to celebrity couples, and sometimes, they have a harder time letting go than the actual exes.
But while the continued obsession with Bieber and Gomez is not surprising, the decision of some fans to subject to Hailey to undue harassment is quite shocking.
Like scores of other celebs, Justin and Hailey attended the Met Gala this week.
Unlike all the others, however, they were put in a very awkward position by some overzealous Selena fans.
Interestingly, this year's gala coincided with Justin and Hailey's third wedding anniversary.
Unfortunately, the couple probably won't remember it as a very happy occasion.
Fans outside the venue began chanting Selena's name in a clear effort to get under Justin and Hailey's skin.
It would be a gross move under any circumstances, but it's particularly repugnant coming, as it did, on the couple's anniversary.
Witnesses say the incident left Hailey in tears, as Justin struggled in vain to console her.
All of this comes amid rumors that Hailey is pregnant with Justin's baby.
If that's the case, then the harassment is all the moire shameful.
Sadly, this is not the first time that Hailey has been mistreated by diehard Selena fans.
When Hailey hosted a live Instagram chat back in December, Selena fans went public with their plan to trash-talk her throughout the event.
“[We] need to f–king bombard that s–t with Jelena and how Selena is better. Go after, please, let’s all go after her," wrote one such stan.
“This sad excuse of a human just encouraged people on video to literally go after my wife telling people to say that my previous relationship was better [and] so on and so forth," Bieber responded.
"It is extremely hard to choose the high road when I see people like this try and rally to gather people to bully the person I love the most in this world. It is not right.”
Bieber is 100 percent correct that Hailey does not deserve to be subjected to that sort of harassment -- or any harassment, for that matter.
It's not as if she stole Justin away from Selena, and if she had, these two have been married for several years, which means it's time for everyone to move on.
That said, Bieber could easily take steps to ease the tension by admitting that he was deeply unkind to Selena during their time together.
“I’ve been way too young to be exposed to certain things when I was in relationships," Gomez said in a recent interview, clearly suggesting that Bieber didn't treat her well.
"I felt so less-than in past relationships, and never really felt equal.”
Justin might believe that angry Selena fans are hoping that he'll get back together with the singer, and while that might be the case for some, we would guess that most merely want the Biebs to issue a public apology.
Love him or hate him, we all know that Big Ed Brown is difficult to ignore.
Now that Ed is engaged to Liz, he's an especially hot topic as 90 Day Fiance fans wonder how that happened.
Brittany Banks doesn't understand, either, judging from what she had to say about Ed.
In a new 90 Day Bares All segment, she calls out Ed in a very unflattering manner. Is she wrong?
90 Day Bares All airs on Discovery Plus, but a sneak peek clip teases Brittany Banks' latest appearance.
There, Shaun Robinson shows her a spinning wheel of choices, referring to other memorable stars.
Brittany is a rapper by trade, so the challenge is for her to rap about these stars -- even if she's never met them.
The odds are very much in favor of Brittany rapping about Colt Johnson and his cats.
But let's start with Big Ed, because her lyrics about him were easily the most scathing.
Scathing ... but not necessarily wrong.
"Big Ed, you think you know women but be beating your dick," Brittany raps.
"I couldn't show up at the Tell All 'cause you're really f--king scary," she continues.
Brittany describes Ed "look like Krueger. I'm like, Freddy, how you sexist and you smelly?"
Big Ed's treatment of women has earned him widespread condemnation.
Both on screen and off screen, he seems to feel entitled to young, attractive women ... no matter how he acts towards them.
Emotional cruelty, lying, mind games, and more have defined much of his time with the franchise.
As for the question of Ed's smell ... well, Brittany was looking at a clip of the guy slathering mayonnaise on his hair.
That odd habit is likely no longer part of his routine, following his catastrophic haircut.
But it will always be part of how fans remember him.
As we mentioned, Ed was not Brittany's first target.
In fact, even before she rapped about Colt Johnson, she had some commentary.
"He needs to go back and un-learn his whole child," Brittany comments, whatever she may mean by that.
"I don't think a man over 20 needs to be living with his mom," Brittany says. "Especially not at his big grown age."
(That's a little extreme -- 30, maybe, though our economy makes that iffy, but 20? That's still college age)
"You seem kind of lazy but I knew your ass was crazy," Brittany raps, "when you opened up your mouth and then you gave your cat a taste."
Brittany's next target, whether she wants to aim at them or not, is Tarik Myers and Hazel Cagalitan.
After roasting Tarik for getting caught texting Minty, Brittany has a suggestion.
Let Hazel get a side piece, let her have some fun," she raps.
Brittany actually sides with many viewers when she tells Shaun that she thinks that Hazel was only open to getting a girlfriend to make Tarik happy.
Though this accusation seems unsupported by any evidence, many fans have said the same as Brittany did.
Brittany did of course affirm that a throuple can work out, but only if everyone involved is mature.
My 600-lb Life is going through a bit of a rough patch lately.
A jarring number of the show's stars seem to be either deceased, actively suing the show, or both.
Last season was fairly truncated Is Season 10 even happening at all?
It is -- and the premiere date is actually much sooner than expected.
My 600-lb Life is coming back for Seash 10.
The premiere date will be November 10 -- that should be easy to remember.
This is actually the earliest that this series has ever returned from hiatus.
The news doesn't come by way of rumor.
Instead, TLC announced the return date themselves.
They're not sharing that many additional details, though.
"MY 600-LB LIFE follows the journeys of morbidly obese people as they fight to save their own lives," TLC wrote in the release.
The release continued: "by making the courageous decision to undergo high-risk gastric bypass surgery."
TLC went on: "Chronicling lifelong hardships with addiction and the inevitable impact their condition has on their closest relationships."
TLC's release added: "each episode gives an inside look at the extreme emotional and physical journeys each person must undergo."
All of this is in order "to qualify for life-saving surgery with Dr. Nowzaradan."
The release concluded: "Join the conversation using #My600lbLife. MY 600-LB LIFE is produced by Megalomedia for TLC."
Well ... that's just an explanation of what the show is about.
Like, there it is, the concept, with no further details.
But since we know what the show is after nine whole season, Season 10 isn't exactly a mystery.
Season 9 was actually the shortest season of My 600-lb Life in years -- since 2016, specifically.
Remember, this was one of the shows that had to abruptly stop filming as the COVID-19 pandemic came to America.
Lockdowns meant that camera crews could not stay in people's homes filming them.
With all of that in mind, Season 9 only had thirteen episodes.
Season 8 was longer than that, but still had only sixteen episodes.
What was surprising about that was that early press releases for 8 had suggested that there would be twenty.
As we mentioned, the show has had a rough go of it.
Some of the stars of the show have died.
Any successful series can see deaths without being responsible, but some of their loved ones don't see it that way.
Specifically, the show has been sued by living stars, now-dead stars, and by the families of dead stars.
Their accusations, which we can neither confirm nor deny to be true, accuse the show of not providing adequate or promised support to stars.
Part of the deal of makeover shows usually involves a degree of healthcare, and this show is accused of cutting corners and breaking promises.
Additionally, the general vibe of the series has come under fire as the public becomes increasingly aware of, well, how the human body works.
Dramatic weight loss can make for a compelling story on TV, but the emotional and physical toll makes some question if it's worth it.
There are cases, though we don't know that anyone on the show falls under this category, where a fat person is healthier at their weight than under the strain of losing it.
There are also serious concerns about the tone of the show, as seen through editing choices.
Zooming in on the food eaten by the show's stars feels voyeuristic, judgmental, and at times even cruel.
Perhaps when Season 10 premieres (not even two months from now), we'll see improvements in these areas.
Earlier this week, Time Magazine released its list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
The magazine released several editions of this week's issue, each featuring one -- or, in this case, two -- of the movers and shakers who make an appearance on the prestigious list.
But to the surprise of no one, Harry and Meghan's cover has been the most widely-discussed, and the most heavily-scrutinized.
The criticism began before anyone even had a chance to read the short article about the Sussexes contained within the issue.
Jokes about the heavily air-brushed photo of Harry and Meghan have been circulating non-stop on social media for several days now.
To be fair, it does look as though the photo has been retouched -- but that's certainly not the fault of the duke and duchess.
Since Twitter and the British tabloid media take no pleasure in criticizing the editors of Time, the dialogue quickly shifted to perceived offenses that could plausibly be blamed on Harry and Meghan.
And so, we've now entered the stage of the discourse where the UK press is finding fault with an American magazine piece in which the Sussexes are praised for their humanitarian work.
First, the Daily Mail blasted Meghan for allegedly wearing $384,000 worth of jewelry in the cover photo.
As with all things Daily Mail, that report should be taken with several grains of salt.
But even if it's true, it's not uncommon for women in the royal family to wear jewelery that's valued in the seven-figure range -- and yet we doubt yoiu'll ever see the Mail criticizing Queen Elizabeth or Kate Middleton for this reason.
Anyway, it seems that it's not just the British media that's weirdly outraged by Harry and Meghan's cover story.
The royal family is said to be furious with what they view as Meghan and Harry's latest publicity stunt.
"Meghan and Harry landing a cover spot of Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People will be seen as a stab in the heart of the Monarchy's reputation because of the greater implicit credibility it affords them and their previous claims against the crown," public relations expert Eric Schiffer told Newsweek today.
"The strategy Harry's built is to out gun William and to be seen as the authentic prince on a global stage and it's been beautifully executed."
Yes, Harry and Meghan seem to be well aware that their greatest competition comes from Prince William and Kate Middleton.
No matter how much their paths through life diverge, these two couple will always be compared to one another -- and it looks as though the Sussexes have finally taken the lead in this never-ending contest.
According to a YouGov poll, Meghan and Harry's popularity in the UK crashed following their controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March.
But the couple became more popular in the US, as well as in several commonwealth countries, such as Canada and Australia.
And in the months since, the Cambridges' popularity in the UK has declined, while the Sussexes' has risen slightly.
In other words, Harry and Meghan are dominating the contest globally, and they might soon take the lead in the UK.
No polls have been conducted since the Time article was released, but despite the best efforts of the British media to undermine their good works, Harry and Meghan are likely to enjoy another boost as a result of the piece.
"They're very disciplined at it," Schiffer said of Harry and Meghan's PR strategy.
"The combination of the leaks and the framing of themselves in part as victims of certain behaviour and on top of that connecting in such authentic ways with global Gen Z and Millennial audiences and allowing them to actually feel what it's like to interact with a member of the royal family, that on a human level has been powerful."
Yes, it seems that those who look at the two couples as four individual humans prefer Harry and Meghan, while Brits who have politicized the feud continue to favor William and Kate, at least partially due to nationalistic pride.
Of course, the royal family is less popular than ever these days, so it's unclear how long the Cambridges will remain propped up by patriotism.
At this point, another season of The Crown might be all it takes to sink the Windsor clan for good.

Meri Brown is a cast member on the TLC reality show Sister Wives.
But that's practically her part-time job at this point.
When she isn't filming episodes (which is a majority of the time), Meri is an active seller for the company LuLaRoe, hosting Facebook Live sessions and shilling for the clothing company.
The same clothing company that is now coming under INTENSE fire in the wake of a revealing documentary.
Titled LuLaRich, the four-part film is currently airing on Amazon.
It takes aim at the entire concepts of multilevel marketing (MLM) companies because they prey on lower-tier employees who must pay a certain fee simply to become a salesperson.
This fee is paid in order for the employees to be given various pieces of apparell to sell -- it goes directly to those in upper management, and if the employee fails to sell the apparell?
He or she is simply out thousands of dollars.
Hence why critics refer to businesses such as LuLaRoe as pyramid schemes.
"(LuLaRoe) was tailored to and sold to a lot of women who are stay-at-home mothers (which is) a very isolating experience in this country, unfortunately," explains Julia Willoughby Nason, who co-directed documentary with Jenner Furst.
"People are so attracted to joining the company because they get to have friends, they get to have a community, and at the same time, they can have autonomy and make an income."
Sure sounds a lot like Meri Brown, doesn't it?
Meri has been an outspoken advocate of LuLaRoe for years.
In 2020, Christine came on board, selling articles of clothing for the brand because she needed money.
Now, many Sister Wives fans -- after learning horrid details of just how this company operates -- are reacting with disgust to Meri and Christine's involvement.
"It seems like they, especially Meri, are top earners which means they probably have significant downlines...it's super exploitative and they're just using their fame to sucker people into keeping them rich," wrote one person this week via Reddit.
"They could have definitely funneled all of their fame into figuring out some sort of legitimate business instead."
That's the thing:
Lower-level sellers are essentially forking over cash to Meri, and are then left on their own to move inventory.
Very often, they cannot do so -- and the result is financial ruin.
Wrote another social media user of the Browns: “They’re lying, scheming and taking advantage of other people. They’re awful.”
A third chimed in as follows:
“Meri just seems so desperate to belong to something and be someone, and that’s how LLR suckered her in."
Neither Meri nor Christine has responded to this criticism, or to the documentary in general.
But the former just returned last week from a trip to Cancun that was sponsored by LuLaRoe, gushing over the experience on Instagram as follows:
The people I've met, both within the sisterhood (and brotherhood) of our retailer community, and in my personal community of friends and LuLaRoe lovers, have enriched my life by bringing happiness on sad days, kindness and compassion when I needed it, encouragement, wisdom, and friendship. I can only hope I've had something to offer them as well.
I feel blessed and honored to be part of group of people dedicated to kindness, inclusivity, lifting each other up, and being a shining light.
Some would argue, however, that Meri has only benefitted in this fashion off the sweat and hard work of others... who are far worse off than she is.
I am forever grateful for the past five years of my life.
The friends and team mates I've met along the way.
And looking forward to what lies ahead, the people I will meet, the lives that may be changed, and the friendships that will be created.
