Donald Trump probably took one look at Lil Wayne before asking his staff to call local papers for ad space.

Lil Wayne‘s new album, which has been at least four years in the making according to the rapper himself, finally dropped on Friday at midnight — just after Wayne’s 36th birthday the previous day.
The hotly anticipated Tha Carter V features 23 songs, many of which are collaborations with equally legendary artists including Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar and Ashanti. Other featured vocalists include XXXTentacion, who died earlier this year, Travis Scott, Nivea and English singer Sampha.
The project was first teased in 2012, but it still deeply reflects how hip hop has changed in the years since, particularly with the rise of trap and rap-rock.
See a full list of the songs below.
On Twitter, the album has received rave reviews from fans declaring Weezy “the GOAT” (greatest of all time) and that the beats are “fire.”

Minaj, 35, who’s signed with Wayne’s record company Young Money, wrote, “Happy Birthday, King Tunechi. Love you more than words could ever express. Thank you for believing in me; I’ll never stop believing in you. You are the best to ever do it.”

The five-time Grammy winner confirmed that he’d be dropping his latest project in a video posted to YouTube on Tuesday.
“I always give y’all all of me, but with this album, I’m giving you more than me,” he said. “This is four, five, six years of work that you’ll be listening to.”
The release of Tha Carter V was delayed for four years, a decision announced only days before the planned release date because of a dispute between Wayne and his mentor/Cash Money boss, Birdman.

Tha Carter V is available to stream now on Apple Music, Tidal and Spotify.
If you've lived your life up to this point gloriously unaware of the human mysterious mattress stain that is Martin Shkreli, then you may not want to read any further.
There was a time when Shkreli (aka Shkreli-Shkrel, aka F--kface) terrorized social media with heteretofore unknown levels of douchery.
However, after years of using his ill-gotten fame to harass female journalists and pick fights with members of the Wu Tang Clan, the pharmaceutical CEO-turned-supervillain was recently forced to retreat back under from the bridge from whence he came.
Shkreli was banned from Twitter recently after bullying a Teen Vogue writer, but he's clearly devoted his newfound free time to finding new and interesting ways to make life worse for as many people as possible.
You see, one of Marty's favorite activities is messing with hip hop fans and famous rappers, the latter group, of course, being commonly known as a meek and mild-mannered lot, unlikely to do anything but cower in the face of opposition from a 34-year-old trust fund baby.
After his beef with Wu Tang, Shkreli butted heads with Lil Wayne, attracting the rapper's attention by somehow pirating his unreleased Carter V album and releasing portions of it online without consent.
Now, Shkreli has apparently decided that he'll continue antagonizing Wayne and try to piss off the hottest rapper on the planet right now for good measure.
Despite stern legal warnings from Team Weezy, Shkreli has released yet another track from Tha Carter V, this one featuring a verse from Kendrick Lamar.
TMZ has the stolen audio, which doesn't sound all that great with Shkreli shrieking over the track like some prep school DJ Khaled who was recently the recipient of a traumatic wedgie.
No word on what sort of legal consequences might be in play, but considering Shkreli is already facing jail time on securities fraud charges, he's really playing with fire.
Of course, getting sued would probably be a best-case scenario for Shkreli.
If this little stunt goes viral, Kung-Fu Kenny might put lil Marty in a spiral.
If you don't get that reference go listen to Kendrick's Damn in its entirety.
Just don't be like Shkreli and pirate it.
In fact, don't be like Shkreli in any aspect of your life.
Bam! We just hit you with the best advice you'll ever receive. Feel free to call us dad from now on.
It looks like we got another one of those ‘I ate today so world hunger isn’t a real problem’ arguments coming up.
Last month Lil Wayne said that racism is over because white people go to his concerts, and of course a lot of fucking people thought that was the dumbest shit ever.
Lil Wayne says he gets why people disagree, but that they aren’t seeing it his way. A white cop saved his life as a kid, which also proved to him that racism is over.
When asked to expand on his thoughts, Lil Wayne told the Associated Press that one of the reasons he feels this way is that a white police officer saved his life when he was 12, after he accidentally shot himself in the chest. “Yeah, he was a cop, and my life was saved by a white man. I don’t know what racism is,” Wayne said.
Man that’s fucking great, but just because something does or doesn’t happen to you doesn’t mean that is everyone else’s experience on earth. Like damn. Are people outside of Lil Wayne not real to Lil Wayne?
He was lying on the floor when police broke down the door, stepping over his body looking for guns and drugs. But one man stopped and chastised the others for leaving him. “He was white as snow. Them that hopped over me were blacker than me,” Wayne said.
That was a close shave.
As reported by TMZ, the rapper suffered an initial seizure while on a flight to Cali last Monday, forcing the aircraft to make a landing in Omaha, Nebraska. After his party refused treatment, they proceeded with the flight, only to make another abrupt landing.
Apparently, this isn’t the first time. Back in 2013, multiple seizures already happened: “This wasn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh…I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them,” he shares to Power 106’s DJ Felli Fel.
“My heart rate went down to 30 percent. I have people around me who know how to handle it. This time was real bad because I had three back to back and the third one was so bad,” Wayne continues.
Hope things get better this time.
More Lil Wayne!
Hip-hop royalty no more. Christina Milian and Lil Wayne could have been the next Beyonce and Jay-Z. On a far, far lesser scale. That dream, like your dreams of dating a model, are dashed. The couple of nearly a year have called it quits. Supposedly, the split came from typical reasons. Travel, different focuses in life, blah blah. Where are the side pieces? The affairs? Meh. E! News reported back to us:
“They have broken up. Their schedules started getting extremely busy and the distance was not easy for them both,” a source reveals to us.
“They are not on bad terms. They just are taking a break. Christina is focusing on herself now and surrounding herself with her close girl friends like Karrueche Tran. They both understand each other and girlfriends are exactly what she wants about now.”
So, what does she want from her girlfriends? This is quite mysterious. Also, now she’ll have to do something about that tattoo she got for Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne, meanwhile, can go back to sticking his dick inside groupies.
It seems this summer heartbreak trend is continuing into the fall!
An insider claims the split is amicable and the pair even attended a New York Fashion Week event together on Saturday. Talk about friendly exes!
The confidante confirmed the non-dramatic break-up, saying:
"They've broken up a few times before. She's got so much going on with Grandfathered, her E! and Hulu shows, and working on her album with Wayne. It doesn't help that Wayne is all over the place too. They both have insane lives and schedules."
While this split is a bummer, the reasoning behind it makes sense to us! It's hard to have a relationship without seeing the other person for months or weeks on end!
Are U surprised by the break-up?

An epic feud between one of hip hop's most prominent and successful duos has apparently gone to a darker, scarier place than previously known.
Birdman and associate Young Thug have been indicted as part of a conspiracy to murder Lil Wayne, according to an astonishing new report.
The indictment of Young Thug and Birdman's alleged involvement comes as a local news channel posted new information about an April shooting.
Birdman and Thug aren’t facing charges - yet - but that may change thanks to Young Thug’s tour manager Jimmy “PeeWee Roscoe” Winfrey.
Allegedly the shooter in the orchestrated drive-by, the case against Winfrey suggests he was trying to take Weezy out on the pair's behalf.
Lil Wayne, 32, was on his tour bus in Atlanta when the oversized vehicle came under gunfire from two other cars and was hit multiple times.
An indictment alleges that Birdman, 46, and Young Thug, 22, hatched the plot to off Weezy and that Thug had previously threatened his life.
The article ties the two performers to the Blood gang.
After Atlanta Police discontinued their escort of the bus, one of their associates, Jimmy Winfrey, pursued the vehicle. The indictment states:
"Fellow Blood Gang members entered Interstate 285 from Atlanta Road in Cobb County in pursuit of the buses occupied by [Lil Wayne's] group..."
"The white sports car pulled beside the buses, shots were then fired into the buses from the sports car with a .40 caliber handgun and a 9mm handgun."
Fortunately, Weezy narrowly escaped death that day.
The bombshell report is just the latest to document the demise of Birdman and Lil Wayne's once-tight bond, which has deteriorated rapidly.
They were close personal friends, with Weezy even citing the rapper as a father figure, and worked together many times over the years.
Wayne and Bird made a LOT of money together, but the dynamic between the former Cash Money honchos soured last year in a big way.
A beef over management and the release of Lil Wayne's latest album, Tha Carter V, led him to sue Birdman and Cash Money for $51 million.
For his part, the aptly-named Young Thug is also facing allegations that he threatened to kill a security officer at a mall ... yesterday.
It doesn't make any sense for Lil Wayne to be angry all the time.
He's fabulously wealthy; he's dating Christina Milian; and he's constantly stoned. But despite all of that, violence seems to follow Weezy around like a lil'er, slightly more sane version of Chris Brown.
For an example, just check out the above clip of Wayne attempting to attack the referee at a basketball game benefiting a St. Louis-based anti-violence charity.
Sources say the rapper believed the ref had blown a number of calls, so he spit on him and then chased him around the court while fans and other players tried to break things up.
The game was played as part of the troubled city's weekend-long Stop the Violence event.
We guess "irony" isn't in Weezy's vocabulary.
